<<0>> hello everyone and welcome to the do IU
<<2>> podcast I'm Ludo product education
<<5>> manager for Europe and joining me today
<<7>> is Dr Bry rigs vice president for
<<10>> essential oil education at Thea
<<12>> corporate together we'll be discussing
<<14>> all things supplements so let's get
<<20>> [Music]
<<23>> started brck thank you so much for being
<<25>> here with us today it's really great to
<<27>> have you thank you for the invitation
<<29>> Ludo I'm EX excited to be here and and
<<31>> have this great discussion so obviously
<<33>> we know the word of supplements is vast
<<36>> and can feel a little bit intimidating
<<39>> daunting and people uh listening to us
<<42>> and watching us might be a bit confused
<<44>> so I wanted to discuss with you where
<<46>> would a great starting point be for
<<49>> anybody approaching this uh very
<<53>> overwhelming word for the first time
<<55>> yeah you know it's interesting there's
<<57>> lots of ways that you might approach
<<59>> this and
<<60>> especially to kind of cut through the
<<62>> noise of
<<63>> supplementation you you have the
<<65>> challenge of everywhere you turn you can
<<67>> go to a gas station and buy supplements
<<69>> you can go to the grocery store and buy
<<70>> supplements and you can do the same with
<<73>> essential oils right you can go buy your
<<75>> pure frankincense for just uh just a
<<78>> little bit of of money and it's not pure
<<82>> and as a matter of fact it's probably
<<84>> not even any frankincense the same is
<<87>> true of supplements you can go by the
<<90>> gas station or the grocery store and buy
<<91>> your supplements for a very cheap amount
<<94>> but they're probably not going to have
<<96>> very much of that actual supplement in
<<98>> it so one thing you have to really look
<<101>> for is where is a good source to buy
<<103>> your supplements and how do you really
<<106>> tell whether or not it is a good
<<108>> supplement or not and um one of the ways
<<111>> that you can cut through the noise of
<<113>> that is when you take a supplement you
<<116>> should actually feel different right
<<120>> right um because that's what we're
<<121>> trying to do we're trying to give our
<<123>> body some of those essential co-actors
<<125>> our cells need them to function properly
<<128>> and you should feel that and so if
<<130>> you're taking a supplement and you're
<<131>> like well I've never really felt any
<<133>> different then perhaps um it's not a
<<136>> very good supplement the other thing is
<<138>> true is that typically quality things do
<<142>> cost a little bit more and so being
<<144>> aware that if you go buy your
<<146>> supplements and you can buy a 30-day
<<147>> supply for just a tiny amount of money
<<150>> it's probably not a great supplement and
<<153>> therefore um it's not really going to be
<<155>> benefiting you at all so kind of a
<<157>> couple of ways that you might be able to
<<159>> determine whether or not you uh you have
<<162>> a good quality supplement and to cut
<<164>> through some of the noise there and then
<<165>> also you've got to go with a company
<<167>> that you trust right we know that here
<<169>> at dotera we have cptg oils they go
<<174>> through rigorous testing to just
<<176>> determine is this a good oil and are we
<<179>> willing to put our name to the oil we
<<183>> get lots of batches of oils that we say
<<185>> no thank you that's not really the
<<186>> quality we're looking for the same is
<<188>> true of our supplements we actually go
<<190>> through rigorous testing of our
<<192>> supplements to make sure that they are
<<194>> the quality that we can stand behind and
<<196>> we can put our name dotera on those
<<198>> supplements that's amazing thank you
<<200>> branik and actually if I can take a step
<<203>> back um sometimes we hear you know that
<<207>> healthy eating is enough and that
<<209>> exercising is good enough to be
<<211>> considered healthy and have a perfectly
<<214>> beautiful uh long life but actually we
<<218>> know in the word of supplements that
<<220>> that might not be the case so when is a
<<224>> good moment when we should consider
<<225>> adding supplements to our routine and
<<228>> maybe can you address why is Health
<<231>> eating no longer enough technically in
<<234>> this um this modern times it's it's a
<<237>> it's a great question there Ludo and I
<<239>> think think really we have to we have to
<<242>> first recognize one thing so we're
<<244>> talking about Healthy Lifestyles and
<<246>> routines and do we need supplements but
<<247>> let me let me take it even a step back
<<250>> and that is well it's okay if I don't
<<253>> eat healthy it's okay if I don't have a
<<255>> healthy lifestyle I just take
<<257>> supplements it's fine well I'm going to
<<259>> tell you right now you can't outs
<<261>> supplement an unhealthy diet you can't
<<264>> outs supplement an unhealthy
<<267>> lifestyle um there is no such thing is
<<269>> sitting on the couch eating ice cream
<<272>> every day and I'm not going to be
<<274>> unhealthy because I take supplements it
<<276>> will be too easy right we actually have
<<278>> to right correct I mean if that were the
<<281>> case I wouldn't have to go for a mile
<<282>> run every morning I could just take the
<<284>> mile run pill and get the same benefits
<<286>> to my muscle and heart and and body
<<289>> right my metabolism but that just
<<290>> doesn't exist we have to pay
<<293>> supplementation with doing the best we
<<295>> can in the foods that we consume and the
<<300>> lifestyle that we live um we can't just
<<302>> take supplements and make up for that so
<<304>> your your second point there though is
<<306>> that well can I not take supplements and
<<309>> just live a healthy lifestyle well a
<<312>> couple of interesting things have
<<313>> happened in the last several years we've
<<315>> looked at data on the essential vitamins
<<319>> and minerals that we get from our
<<321>> food essential meaning we have to have
<<324>> them to survive right they're not like
<<326>> would be nice to have these are we have
<<329>> to have these things think about iron
<<331>> for our blood right so we looked at that
<<334>> nutrient content in the foods that we
<<337>> consume what we have found they did a
<<339>> study from 1950 to 1999 so that's 49
<<343>> years and they found that those
<<346>> essential nutrients fell anywhere from 6
<<349>> to
<<350>> 38% in just those 49 years and we've now
<<354>> had another 25 years since that study
<<357>> was completed for that nutrient cont
<<359>> content to continue to fall now we don't
<<362>> know what it was before
<<364>> 1950 but what we do know is the fruits
<<367>> and vegetables we were consuming even
<<369>> organically grown right even grown in
<<372>> our own Gardens those fruits and
<<374>> vegetables that are Grandparents were
<<376>> eating um we have to eat several times
<<380>> that amount to get the same nutrient
<<382>> content that our grandparents did in one
<<384>> apple or one orange now we're having to
<<386>> consume much larger amounts the other
<<388>> thing that's true is our our diet has
<<391>> become calorically dense so lots of
<<394>> calories in our diet and nutrient
<<398>> deficient and so we have to be taking
<<401>> some supplements every day to be able to
<<405>> help with the nutrients that we're just
<<407>> not getting from our diets anymore and
<<409>> that's that's kind of a sad fact but
<<411>> we're to that point in modern society
<<414>> where we just we have to do that and can
<<416>> I just um maybe expand on your last
<<418>> point that you said because I find
<<419>> extremely
<<420>> fascinating uh the fact that we um
<<423>> obviously the soil is depleted and we
<<425>> consume maybe too much calories compared
<<428>> to you know our vitamin minerals and
<<431>> what we what our body is able to to
<<434>> absorb really could this also be a
<<436>> reason why we sometimes feel this hunger
<<439>> that we cannot satisfy is it because we
<<442>> are lacking
<<444>> vitamins yeah as a matter of fact there
<<446>> was a study done about three years ago
<<450>> on fast food now we all have a hectic
<<452>> lifestyle it's very fast-paced and so
<<455>> sometimes we just think oh it's fine
<<457>> I'll just grab some fast food well the
<<460>> study was done to say well why is it
<<462>> that fast food doesn't satisfy us as
<<465>> much as other foods do if I were to go
<<468>> grab a couple of apples I may be Fuller
<<472>> or have satiety better than if I grab a
<<475>> hamburger and fries right and the reason
<<478>> is is because the brain picks up on how
<<481>> many nutrients we're consuming in the
<<483>> food and if we're not having enough
<<485>> nutrients in the food the brain sends a
<<487>> signal um that we need more nutrients
<<491>> not that we're hungry but we need more
<<493>> nutrients and so we're more likely to
<<495>> consume more highly processed foods than
<<499>> we are other types of foods and so to
<<501>> your point we do have to just be very
<<503>> careful of those nutrient deficient
<<506>> Foods because they can make us eat more
<<509>> of them therefore more calories and that
<<512>> contributes to our obesity problem that
<<514>> we're having literally around the world
<<516>> that's amazing and as I said it's
<<519>> incredibly fascinating for me to be able
<<522>> to educate myself better every day and
<<525>> and then hopefully go on and make
<<528>> healthier uh choices in what I decide to
<<530>> eat and what I decide to nourish my body
<<533>> with So yeah thank you I think that's a
<<535>> good point Ludo we're all on a journey
<<537>> right and and we all started somewhere
<<539>> so I I tend to within my practice as a
<<543>> physician I tend to not really condemn
<<546>> anyone walking through the doors the
<<548>> fact that they're approaching me tells
<<549>> me I'm interested in my health so
<<551>> wherever they are let's say they're
<<553>> eating fast food three meals a day okay
<<556>> we're not going to change that person to
<<557>> be eating all you know fruits and
<<560>> vegetables three meals a day organically
<<562>> grown Etc and be taking all of their
<<565>> supplements every day we have to
<<567>> celebrate the Journey of where they are
<<569>> we should be doing the same we should
<<571>> say okay let me take a real assessment
<<574>> of where I am on my health journey and
<<576>> then I'm going to try to do a little bit
<<578>> better each day right Maya Angelou once
<<581>> said once we know better we do better
<<584>> and that's true for all of us I like
<<586>> that I really like that so I think um at
<<590>> the beginning you said something about
<<592>> the word supplement what what it means
<<595>> uh as in adding something to our diet
<<598>> enhancing our diet so um yeah how can we
<<603>> incorporate supplements maybe gradually
<<606>> for somebody who is um a starter let's
<<610>> say it's getting started with this word
<<612>> somebody who is a good user and then
<<615>> somebody who is a pro yeah so um I think
<<620>> for someone that's just beginning this
<<621>> journey and and you're right supplement
<<624>> means to complete or enhance right so if
<<626>> I have this healthy lifestyle I'm trying
<<628>> to do better at the things I'm consuming
<<630>> I'm trying to do better with my exercise
<<633>> and my metabolism and those sorts of
<<635>> things now to supplement means I'm just
<<637>> gonna add a little bit more to that and
<<640>> make it even better right um and so for
<<644>> those that are just beginning this I'm a
<<647>> fan of number one assess your diet make
<<650>> changes that you know you need to make
<<653>> nobody really needs to be told oh my
<<656>> gosh eating ice cream every day is bad
<<658>> for you right um no no everybody knows
<<661>> these things right now it's a yeah it's
<<664>> a wonderful little treat every once in a
<<666>> while but if if people know the things
<<668>> that are their weak spot and so assess
<<670>> where you are with your diet assess
<<673>> where you are with your movement right
<<675>> and then make those changes and add to
<<678>> that your vitamins and mineral
<<680>> supplements right so for us it would be
<<683>> our lifelong Vitality our microplex vmz
<<686>> our Alpha CRS and our X
<<689>> omegas um those things are helpful to
<<693>> supplement and I'm a fan of uh starting
<<697>> low and then moving up to that full dose
<<700>> so I'm a fan of just do one a day of
<<702>> each and do that for a few weeks make
<<704>> sure the system gets used to this make
<<706>> sure that we're doing okay with this if
<<708>> we're experiencing a little bit of GI
<<710>> upset when we first start that's okay
<<712>> push on and then let's wait until that
<<715>> goes away because it will go away and so
<<718>> once you've done that to to once a day
<<720>> and your systems used to it now you want
<<722>> to go to twice a day morning and evening
<<725>> with your dosing of one each and do that
<<728>> for a few weeks and building up to that
<<730>> full dose which is two in the morning
<<732>> and two in the evening or
<<734>> afternoon so that then you're taking
<<736>> four a day of your vmz your ex omegas
<<740>> and your Alpha CRS so morning and
<<743>> evening two each every day for those
<<745>> that are kind of Pros their lifestyle is
<<747>> really clean they've been on this
<<749>> journey for a while they've been doing
<<751>> great I have no problem with them just
<<752>> starting right off the bat with two in
<<754>> the morning two in the evening of each
<<756>> of those and uh they typically do pretty
<<758>> well with that because their system is
<<760>> already used to a clean lifestyle it's
<<762>> already used to exercising every day
<<763>> it's already used to having those
<<765>> nutrients in the foods that they're
<<767>> consuming they're not switching from
<<769>> three times a day of fast food to now
<<771>> all of a sudden eating more fruits and
<<773>> vegetables this individual is already
<<774>> eating a lot of fruits and vegetables
<<776>> their system knows those nutrients
<<778>> fairly well and so putting those
<<780>> straight on those individuals straight
<<782>> on the four um a day of each isn't a
<<786>> problem Bry can we talk a little bit
<<788>> about supplement quality and why it
<<790>> matters so much obviously we know we
<<793>> both know this word is vast is huge
<<795>> actually and every company now seems
<<798>> like they're starting to produce
<<800>> supplements uh which is uh a bit scary
<<804>> um so not supp not all supplements are
<<806>> created equals um
<<809>> yeah what do you think about that no
<<813>> yeah so I that's true we mentioned
<<815>> earlier the fact that you know typically
<<818>> if you're buying a very very cheap
<<819>> supplement it is not very good um
<<822>> unfortunately in the supplement World
<<824>> typically you you get what you pay for
<<828>> and so if you're buying something that's
<<830>> very inexpensive and you think oh my
<<832>> gosh I got a great deal this is only
<<833>> costing me you know a little bit every
<<836>> month well you're probably only getting
<<838>> a little bit of benefit from that every
<<841>> month and so knowing that a good
<<843>> supplement a good quality supplement if
<<845>> it's really going to help you is going
<<847>> to cost just a little bit more because
<<849>> of the fact that uh they have to bring
<<852>> some quality something that's very good
<<854>> for you now one of the things that sets
<<858>> uh our our um supplements apart is the
<<861>> fact
<<862>> that we actually have a couple of things
<<865>> that are unique to dotera in the
<<867>> supplement world so for in instance I'll
<<870>> give you the example of our tummy Tamer
<<871>> blend that is in our microplex
<<874>> vmz typically the GI track doesn't
<<877>> really enjoy vitamins and minerals and
<<880>> we'll talk a little bit about the
<<881>> uniqueness of our supplements here in a
<<883>> minute but because of that we put our
<<887>> tummy Tamer blend in of essential oils
<<890>> that consist of carow and peppermint and
<<894>> some others that help the GI tract calm
<<896>> down while we're taking these vitamins
<<898>> and mineral supplements and help them
<<900>> handle it a little bit better and then
<<901>> we also do some things that increase
<<903>> absorption of the vitamins and minerals
<<905>> you can go to some stores and they do
<<908>> cost a bit of money to buy some Mega
<<912>> doses of vitamins and minerals huge
<<915>> amounts right
<<917>> um and and the challenge there is there
<<921>> is an absorptive capacity within the GI
<<924>> tra there's only so much that the GI tra
<<927>> can absorb and the rest of the time
<<929>> those extras are just moving right on
<<931>> through you um and so knowing that those
<<935>> Mega doses don't really help you need
<<938>> the right amount and you need to be able
<<940>> to absorb the right amount and that's
<<942>> what our dotera LV does for you it helps
<<946>> you with that absorption of the correct
<<948>> amount of vitamins and minerals and
<<950>> those nutrients that are in there I love
<<951>> that you're talking about absorption um
<<954>> because often we hear the phrase you are
<<957>> what you eat but that fresh could be
<<960>> expanded to you are what you absorb cuz
<<964>> not everything that you ingest we in our
<<967>> body is able to absorb so um thank you
<<970>> for touching on
<<971>> that yeah yeah I I've often put it you
<<975>> aren't what you eat because we eat lots
<<978>> of things that we don't incorporate into
<<979>> the body but you are what you digest and
<<983>> digestion is that key or ingestion right
<<986>> but absorption is the key there there
<<989>> and so you have to digest the things we
<<991>> can put lots of stuff in us but if it
<<993>> never gets digested put into our system
<<996>> it doesn't really matter for us and I
<<998>> also find it really fascinating what you
<<1000>> said about those Mega does because um
<<1003>> let's face it if somebody is approaching
<<1005>> this word for the first time or they're
<<1007>> just getting started they might pick up
<<1009>> a supplement look at the ingredient list
<<1011>> or look at the dosage look at the
<<1013>> quantity and say oh this one has a
<<1015>> higher amount of vitamin C so I'll just
<<1018>> go for the a maximum dose that I can
<<1020>> obtain but then you mention it
<<1023>> beautifully if my body is not able to
<<1025>> absorb it properly then is it useful
<<1029>> yeah right then it doesn't matter yep
<<1032>> yeah and and I know you know people will
<<1034>> say well how can I tell one of the ways
<<1037>> to tell is when you are taking a
<<1040>> supplement that your body can't use
<<1042>> those
<<1043>> megadoses
<<1044>> typically uh you can tell in your
<<1047>> voiding when you're urinating if it is
<<1050>> bright yellow and remains bright yellow
<<1052>> throughout the day it either means your
<<1054>> system is getting rid of all of that
<<1056>> things that your cells can't absorb or
<<1058>> you're very dehydrated either one you
<<1061>> should do something about both you
<<1062>> should drink more fluid and you should
<<1064>> find a better supplement so that then
<<1066>> you know that it's being being absorbed
<<1068>> and the cells are utilizing this you
<<1071>> know we talked earlier about the fact
<<1072>> that really vitamins and minerals are
<<1075>> cell
<<1077>> co-actors they're things that the cells
<<1080>> require to do their job optimally so
<<1083>> we're not we're not artificially making
<<1085>> cells do things they wouldn't ordinarily
<<1087>> do really what we're doing is saying can
<<1089>> we provide you all the things you need
<<1091>> to do your job the right way and when
<<1094>> cells work well organs work well and
<<1098>> when organs work well systems work well
<<1101>> and when systems are doing well we are
<<1104>> well so it really starts at that
<<1106>> cellular Foundation of providing those
<<1109>> cells all those micronutrients and
<<1112>> co-actors that they need to do their job
<<1114>> so it's kind of this beautiful way of
<<1116>> saying I'm here supplementing to support
<<1119>> you cell if you'll just do the job you
<<1122>> were created to do then great now all of
<<1125>> a sudden I reap those benefits of just
<<1127>> helping you by doing this thing for you
<<1129>> every day and all of these uh talking
<<1133>> about foundation and foundational uh
<<1136>> make me think about our Wellness chart
<<1139>> and the way we uh structured it in a
<<1141>> very clever way and obviously we have
<<1144>> nutrition and digestion at the B at base
<<1148>> at the bottom of the wellness chart so I
<<1151>> would like to talk a little bit about
<<1153>> that and how we combined and um how we
<<1157>> kind of placed categories of supplements
<<1159>> in each step of the wellness chart so
<<1162>> could you explain how to navigate that
<<1165>> uh that Wellness chart for us
<<1167>> please yeah for sure
<<1169>> yeah thank you for that I I really think
<<1171>> like you said it's so wise that we
<<1174>> started with this Foundation of
<<1175>> nutrition and digestion what I have
<<1178>> found in my own career as a physician is
<<1180>> that when I start addressing things
<<1183>> higher on the wellness chart let's say
<<1186>> for instance someone's having some
<<1187>> challenges with sleep and I say oh uh
<<1190>> you know we have some natural things
<<1192>> that are perfect for sleep let me help
<<1194>> you with lavender let me help you with
<<1196>> Serenity let me help you with some
<<1198>> things that'll support a good night's
<<1200>> sleep if I haven't found out that their
<<1204>> diet is really bad and they're eating at
<<1206>> 11:30 at night right before they go to
<<1208>> sleep and their and their lifestyle Is
<<1211>> Not Great by staying up and watching TV
<<1213>> right before they go to bed and all of
<<1215>> those things I haven't really gotten
<<1218>> down to the root of the problem I've
<<1220>> simply put a Band-Aid on the on the
<<1222>> issue that they're talking to me about
<<1224>> and not really finding out that here's
<<1226>> where our issue lies and so I really try
<<1229>> to dive down deeper in each time I'm
<<1232>> talking with someone to make sure that
<<1235>> if our foundation's correct if our
<<1237>> nutrition and digestion is good
<<1239>> wonderful now let's talk about movement
<<1241>> of metabolism what are the things you're
<<1244>> consuming how well is your metabolism
<<1246>> going um how often are you getting up
<<1248>> and moving um and now we have these
<<1250>> wonderful devices right that we can wear
<<1252>> on our wrist or we can have on our phone
<<1254>> to tell us how well we're doing at those
<<1256>> things and then we can move on up to our
<<1259>> rest and manage stress and look at all
<<1261>> right am I doing those things am I
<<1263>> managing my stress well and it's not
<<1266>> eliminating stress because we have lives
<<1269>> that are stressful right I remember a
<<1271>> patient one time she came in and we
<<1273>> realized that her biggest issue was
<<1275>> managing stress and I mistakenly told
<<1277>> her well we just need to get rid of
<<1279>> stress in your life and she said Dr IGS
<<1281>> I have nine
<<1284>> children well I guess we're not getting
<<1286>> rid of those so maybe we need to figure
<<1288>> out how to manage them right so we've
<<1290>> got to figure out how to make sure we're
<<1292>> getting our rest and we're managing our
<<1293>> stress and then once we have that under
<<1295>> control we move to the next thing which
<<1296>> is reducing toxicity in our lives and
<<1299>> that may be looking at the things that
<<1301>> we're using in our home those um even
<<1304>> devices within our home can be toxic to
<<1307>> our system um and making sure that all
<<1310>> of that is is under control once we get
<<1314>> there that's all the lifestyle part of
<<1315>> the wellness chart then we can move up
<<1319>> to the next section which is really um
<<1321>> inform selfcare what are those things I
<<1324>> can do for myself when there are
<<1325>> challenges when there are issues within
<<1327>> my home where I don't need to go access
<<1331>> outside resources I can actually just
<<1333>> simply look at what are the things I can
<<1336>> do for myself and we all have those
<<1337>> things right if if I have a little bit
<<1340>> of a scratch in my throat I might make
<<1342>> myself some wonderful tea to help soothe
<<1344>> that right that's informed self-care
<<1346>> simple example and then last lastly it's
<<1349>> proactive health care which is where we
<<1351>> do access others outside of ourselves
<<1353>> saying look can you help me assess
<<1356>> really how I'm doing from a health
<<1358>> perspective and can you help me see down
<<1361>> the road a little bit of those things
<<1363>> that might be coming that I might make
<<1365>> small tweaks now to avoid bigger
<<1368>> problems later that's really proactive
<<1370>> health care so how can we become better
<<1373>> educated individuals and be so in tune
<<1377>> with our body to
<<1379>> know where to start you know which step
<<1381>> of the wellness chart to assess because
<<1384>> we all have to start somewhere and the
<<1386>> way how we structure the wellness chart
<<1388>> is um is made to help us navigate the
<<1392>> word of supplements so how can one
<<1394>> become better in tune with this side um
<<1397>> of us yeah I think again great question
<<1400>> Ludo it really I'm amazed there are
<<1403>> individuals out there we've all met them
<<1405>> that are so in tune with their body that
<<1409>> they know when something is off even
<<1411>> just a little bit and I I am just so
<<1415>> very impressed by those folks I haven't
<<1417>> always been that way um I think of the
<<1421>> chaos that was going on in my life
<<1423>> during medical school and how how hard
<<1426>> that was constantly being in class
<<1428>> constantly studying I had very little
<<1430>> time to tune into my body it was really
<<1433>> once I got into a regular pace of Life
<<1437>> getting up going to work every day
<<1439>> Family Life having time in the evening
<<1442>> with the family Etc that those things
<<1445>> begin to come to the top of my
<<1447>> mindfulness of where am I and so the
<<1451>> first principle we probably ought to do
<<1454>> is um take time to
<<1457>> listen right I love
<<1460>> this sit down for moments every day and
<<1464>> listen to your body um learn to get in
<<1468>> tune with it how am I feeling from an
<<1470>> energy level how am I feeling from a
<<1473>> fatigue level how am I feeling in I call
<<1476>> it a body scan I teach
<<1478>> meditation um and one of the things that
<<1481>> we do is call a body scan which is just
<<1484>> assessing from the top of your body down
<<1486>> okay how's my head feeling do I feel
<<1488>> relaxed do I have any tension in the
<<1490>> head how's my neck feeling right um do I
<<1494>> need to move a little bit more and
<<1496>> stretch that how are the shoulders
<<1497>> feeling and drop those right and just
<<1500>> going on down the body and assessing and
<<1503>> listening to my system because it will
<<1505>> tell us if we'll just take a few moments
<<1509>> to listen and that means removing some
<<1512>> of the chaos of life and spending the
<<1514>> time to listen to that once we do that I
<<1518>> think the body is really good about
<<1519>> telling us what we need and as I said we
<<1523>> start with that Foundation of nutrition
<<1525>> and digestion and so spending the time
<<1529>> to say okay let me think about this how
<<1532>> really how good is my diet what are the
<<1535>> things that I'm consuming that I know
<<1537>> are good for me because we need to pay
<<1539>> attention to the positive as well and
<<1541>> what are the things that I'm consuming
<<1542>> that I know are causing damage to the
<<1545>> system now as I mentioned earlier on
<<1547>> occasion you can have a gelato and it
<<1549>> won't derail the system right that's
<<1553>> that's okay you're you're spending time
<<1555>> socially with friends or there's a
<<1556>> celebration of a birthday or something
<<1559>> like that every day is a problem right
<<1563>> and so assessing what are the things I'm
<<1565>> doing that are good for me what are the
<<1567>> things that I'm doing that are not good
<<1569>> for me and what changes am I going to
<<1571>> make in the coming 30 days to make
<<1574>> things better for my system um the same
<<1578>> thing with digestion how well am I doing
<<1580>> at digesting the foods I'm
<<1582>> consuming and those things that I'm not
<<1585>> digesting well are their concerns with
<<1587>> that and then adding to that as we
<<1590>> mentioned before no matter how healthy
<<1592>> the diet is no matter how well we're
<<1594>> doing we simply have to supplement and
<<1598>> so it's a great time to assess well
<<1600>> where am I in my lifestyle am I a let's
<<1602>> start at One A Day person and work up
<<1605>> from there or am I I can probably
<<1607>> because I'm have a healthy lifestyle
<<1609>> jump all in with my full dose of llv
<<1612>> every day and take those supplements
<<1614>> every day um it's just kind of a good
<<1616>> place to start so you got to listen
<<1618>> make changes number two and then number
<<1621>> three is absolutely add your supplements
<<1623>> in every day I love it and then
<<1626>> obviously we have created this
<<1628>> supplement guide to help um people
<<1632>> navigate their lifestyle their
<<1634>> challenges their issues and I hope that
<<1637>> this tool will educate and Empower
<<1639>> people to know they can jump through
<<1642>> chapters and they can pick what is
<<1644>> relevant at that specific moment when
<<1646>> they are sitting down with themselves
<<1649>> and maybe taking that scan and say okay
<<1651>> for the next three months I need to
<<1654>> focus on my nutrition and digestion
<<1656>> first and then I can move up or tackle
<<1658>> something else yeah for sure yeah and
<<1662>> and I appreciate that lud because
<<1664>> because if you think well I I want to
<<1666>> start with uh again we've kind of been
<<1669>> hammering on rest and man stress I want
<<1671>> to start with rest and man and stress
<<1673>> but if we know our nutrition and
<<1675>> digestion isn't
<<1676>> working my recommendation is we should
<<1679>> start there at the foundation don't
<<1681>> don't jump up the wellness chart um to a
<<1684>> section you're like oh well this is
<<1686>> something I can work on pretty easily if
<<1688>> you don't have this under control start
<<1690>> start here start at the foundation
<<1692>> because just like a house right um I
<<1695>> used to do construction and so I know a
<<1696>> bit about building things and if you
<<1699>> build the most beautiful house in the
<<1700>> world but it is not on a solid
<<1704>> foundation very shortly that house is
<<1706>> going to come down because it has to
<<1709>> have something to rest on it has to have
<<1711>> something to build walls and roof and
<<1714>> all of those beautiful parts of the
<<1716>> house it has to have that Foundation if
<<1718>> your foundation isn't any good starting
<<1721>> to build up higher is going to be a
<<1722>> problem and it wouldn't work and I'm
<<1724>> guess it won't last long because people
<<1727>> might not be feeling or seeing the
<<1729>> results that they they wish is that
<<1732>> correct yep yes or or they'll feel it in
<<1735>> the short term they'll get short gains
<<1738>> from it but eventually it will stop
<<1740>> working because they haven't really
<<1742>> addressed the underlying issue of
<<1743>> nutrition so another question that I
<<1745>> have in mind is how to take supplement
<<1748>> together to maybe maximize absorption
<<1751>> but also just generally how to take
<<1753>> supplements together um we know that for
<<1756>> example vitamin C uh is enhancing ion
<<1760>> absorption I know it because I am uh ion
<<1763>> deficient uh so I've learned that the
<<1766>> hard way um
<<1768>> is there anything that we should keep in
<<1770>> mind when taking supplements together
<<1773>> yeah so it's a great question there are
<<1776>> nutrients that are required for uh
<<1779>> enhanced absorption so when you look at
<<1782>> you use the example of vitamin C and
<<1783>> iron we need that vitamin C to make sure
<<1786>> that we're absorbing our iron from both
<<1788>> our food and from the supplements that
<<1791>> we're using another good example of that
<<1793>> is we need Vitamin D to absorb our
<<1795>> calcium to make sure our bones stay
<<1797>> healthy and strong
<<1798>> um as well as magnesium so vitamin D
<<1801>> calcium vitamin k um all and magnesium
<<1806>> all need to be together so that we're
<<1808>> making sure we're absorbing all of those
<<1810>> nutrients and maximizing those and so
<<1813>> we've really Tak a look at all of the
<<1815>> science and dotera is very much a
<<1817>> science company and and realized or or
<<1822>> recognize that that does require these
<<1824>> co-actors for absorption and we've done
<<1827>> the thing to make sure that we're
<<1828>> absorbing them the other thing that I
<<1831>> really love about our vitamins and
<<1833>> minerals is that we've keeled our
<<1836>> minerals um chelation is a very
<<1839>> important concept because we don't
<<1842>> absorb minerals very well at all most
<<1845>> minerals come from dirt and rocks right
<<1848>> and so if I were to say Ludo all you
<<1849>> need to do every day is go out and just
<<1851>> a teaspoon of dirt every day just take
<<1854>> it in how do you think your GI tract
<<1856>> would would react to that not very happy
<<1859>> yeah not very happy because you're going
<<1862>> to have a hard time absorbing those
<<1863>> minerals from the dirt and rocks right
<<1866>> and so we've taken those minerals out
<<1870>> we've packaged them and then what we've
<<1872>> done is we have chelated them which
<<1875>> means they have been bound to organic
<<1878>> compounds which our body does absorb
<<1881>> very well it recognizes those organic
<<1883>> compounds and says oh we know what that
<<1886>> is and we know what to do with it so
<<1887>> there therefore we get those chelated
<<1890>> minerals into the system and they're
<<1891>> absorb very well through that little
<<1894>> process and then the other thing that
<<1896>> we've done is we've done something
<<1897>> called a glycoprotein
<<1900>> matrix um so well let me go back to the
<<1902>> concept of chelation I grew up watching
<<1905>> fun movies um the story that I use is um
<<1910>> Mary poppin do you remember the movie
<<1912>> Mary Poppins I do yeah right so we were
<<1916>> all kind of raised on this magical idea
<<1918>> of the nanny Mary Poppins and she's in
<<1921>> the nursery with Jane and Michael Banks
<<1923>> and she's singing the song A spoonful of
<<1926>> sugar makes the medicine go down now I
<<1929>> love that song because it was teaching a
<<1931>> principle of and she even says it in the
<<1933>> song with every job that must be done
<<1937>> there is an element of fun find the fun
<<1940>> and snap the jobs a game which means
<<1944>> look there are things that we don't want
<<1945>> to do in life but if we look for the fun
<<1948>> aspects of those or the more enjoyable
<<1950>> aspects of those then we can get the job
<<1952>> done and it's not so hard the same
<<1955>> principle is true of minerals our body
<<1958>> doesn't absorb minerals very well it
<<1960>> needs a little bit of a boost and so our
<<1962>> body does enjoy organic things and so
<<1966>> binding those minerals that the body
<<1968>> doesn't really react well to but
<<1971>> needs to something that is organic now
<<1974>> of a sudden we absorb those very well
<<1977>> that's the spoon full of sugar makes the
<<1978>> medicine go down we're able to get the
<<1980>> things that are good for us in and then
<<1983>> we move on to that glycoprotein Matrix
<<1985>> which is also some minerals that we get
<<1987>> from food sources right and
<<1990>> vitamins we actually use those and we
<<1994>> put them in some yeast some baker's
<<1998>> yeast the yeast absorb those nutrients
<<2001>> then we freeze dry the yeast and we're
<<2004>> able to get a higher density of those
<<2006>> nutrients in
<<2008>> this glycoprotein Matrix that the yeast
<<2010>> has made and we absorb those much better
<<2013>> and so absorption we've done a couple of
<<2015>> things there to make sure that our
<<2017>> absorption of those are fantastic for us
<<2021>> so I really appreciate the fact that
<<2023>> dotera follows the science very well we
<<2025>> make sure that we're using the latest
<<2027>> technology in getting those nutrients to
<<2030>> the cells where they need to be and
<<2032>> we're absorbing them much better through
<<2034>> those and we've done that with really
<<2036>> every supplement that you can think
<<2038>> we've figured out how to optimize that
<<2040>> absorption of it um another thing I
<<2043>> think um comes up um quite often is when
<<2047>> is the best time to take a supplement
<<2049>> right is it the morning should I be on
<<2051>> an empty stomach should I be eating fast
<<2054>> should I be eating this and that to
<<2056>> complement my supplement routine so
<<2060>> could we talk about that please so
<<2062>> here's let me let me just tell you my my
<<2064>> cheeky answer for that one okay the best
<<2067>> best time to take a supplement is when
<<2069>> you remember to take it and need fair
<<2071>> game right let's let's not
<<2075>> sacrifice um better for good right um
<<2080>> meaning meaning we we should or let's
<<2083>> sorry let's not sacrifice good for
<<2085>> better meaning that we should just say
<<2087>> okay if I remember to take it right now
<<2089>> that's the best time to take it now
<<2092>> optimizing it we absorb things better
<<2094>> when we take it with food and we absorb
<<2097>> things better when we take it with a
<<2098>> little bit of healthy fats so if you
<<2100>> think about eating an avocado like an
<<2102>> avocado toast for breakfast and taking
<<2104>> your morning dose then that would be
<<2107>> fine now my own personal Lifestyle the
<<2109>> things that I've chosen to do I do
<<2111>> intermittent fasting so I'm not a
<<2113>> breakfast eater I don't eat breakfast in
<<2114>> the morning um and so I but if I don't
<<2119>> take my morning dose of supplements I'm
<<2122>> going to forget later in the day so I
<<2124>> take my morning dose on an empty stomach
<<2126>> stomach just because for me that fits in
<<2129>> my lifestyle now a little trick I've
<<2131>> learned over time because I was always
<<2133>> forgetting that afternoon dose I put my
<<2137>> afternoon dose in my left pocket and I
<<2140>> carry that around with me all day so
<<2143>> that if it's lunchtime or midday or
<<2145>> dinner time it's with me when I remember
<<2148>> it's with me it's not oh yeah when I get
<<2151>> home I need to grab my afternoon dose of
<<2154>> my supplements it's just whenever it
<<2156>> occurs to me it's it's already here I
<<2158>> pull it out of my pocket and I take it
<<2161>> so um yes optimally you take it with
<<2164>> food but just take it that's that's the
<<2167>> better thing is make sure that you're
<<2169>> just taking it every day that twice a
<<2171>> day dosing and I know some that are like
<<2172>> well Dr RS I can't take it a second time
<<2175>> well then take all of them at one time
<<2177>> if that's all you can do I would rather
<<2180>> have all of them taken at one time than
<<2183>> not taking any at
<<2184>> all that is a perfect answer sometimes
<<2188>> we get a bit stuck on the how and when
<<2190>> but really the fact that we're taking
<<2192>> supplements and we taking care of our
<<2194>> body is a good starting point so um yeah
<<2197>> I appreciate you sure keeping you real
<<2204>> also so uh Rik can I get a little bit
<<2207>> more specific in talking about maybe
<<2209>> your routine so can I ask you a few
<<2210>> questions about um sure still the word
<<2213>> of supplements obviously yeah um yeah
<<2216>> what are your top three supplements and
<<2220>> how would you personally take them sure
<<2223>> so here's the thing that I take every
<<2226>> single day um this is this is not
<<2228>> negotiable for me like I am I am
<<2231>> probably
<<2234>> 99% uh routine on this I I hit this
<<2237>> almost every single day so it is my llv
<<2241>> which consists of our microplex vmz our
<<2244>> X Omega and our Alpha CRS M so those are
<<2248>> every single day I take metap power
<<2251>> Advantage every single day you might
<<2254>> have noticed I'm slightly over the age
<<2256>> of 25 which means that I am
<<2259>> aging and and met power Advantage I
<<2262>> would have say 24 so thank you for comp
<<2264>> thank you so much I appreciate that so
<<2267>> metap power Advantage for anybody over
<<2269>> the age of 25 so that's for me and I
<<2271>> actually take two sachets a day of metap
<<2273>> power Advantage I also take PB assist
<<2278>> every single day or now PB restore um
<<2281>> just because there are so many things
<<2283>> that can disrupt the microbiome even
<<2286>> eating a fast food meal or um not
<<2289>> sleeping well one night or even a bad
<<2293>> attitude or negative emotions affects
<<2295>> our microme just small things like that
<<2297>> and so therefore to take a a probiotic
<<2301>> every single day that I know will help
<<2303>> support my microbiome not of just of my
<<2306>> GI tract but my oral microbiome my skin
<<2309>> microbiome Etc that supplement every
<<2312>> single day as a non-negotiable for me
<<2314>> and then from there I kind of pick and
<<2316>> choose based on what I'm doing most days
<<2320>> I do a metap Power recharge which is our
<<2323>> electrolyt string um and I do that
<<2326>> because I know the data on some of the
<<2328>> electrolytes and know that most of us
<<2331>> walk around dehydrated every day and so
<<2334>> um uh I just do that every single
<<2337>> morning so so I actually add my recharge
<<2339>> with my two metap power advantages that
<<2341>> I take every single day mix them up
<<2343>> together it makes a wonderful drink and
<<2346>> uh and I'm ready to go and then as I
<<2348>> said from there then I pick and choose
<<2349>> our other supplements based on
<<2351>> individual need what's going on that day
<<2354>> what's been happening in my life I may
<<2355>> choose adaptive I may choose turmeric I
<<2358>> may choose deep blue polyphenols um you
<<2362>> know Copa soft gels that list goes on
<<2365>> and on and on based upon what's
<<2367>> happening I was recently backpacking uh
<<2370>> in the mountains with a bunch of of
<<2372>> young people we did um 11 miles in one
<<2375>> day and I enjoyed my ciba and my deep
<<2379>> blue polyphenols oh I bet for the next
<<2381>> couple of days so yeah so just choosing
<<2386>> based on what your lifestyle is is
<<2387>> really that great option of then looking
<<2390>> at all right what else do I add to to
<<2392>> help support the activities that I'm
<<2394>> doing I love that um I also feel like
<<2398>> sometimes the supplement that we take
<<2400>> are specific to the person that we are
<<2403>> so obviously you know um our age our
<<2406>> genes our sex our activity level plays a
<<2409>> huge role and we're not all equal so
<<2412>> we're different and the supplements that
<<2413>> we take uh how we take them might be
<<2416>> different and also we change we evolve
<<2418>> in time so we and the beauty of it is
<<2421>> that we can adopt right yeah yeah for
<<2424>> sure yeah for instance as I mentioned
<<2427>> before before an individual that's 20
<<2429>> years old really doesn't have a strong
<<2431>> need for metap power Advantage now they
<<2434>> may want to use our metap power assist
<<2436>> product right because maybe they're
<<2438>> dealing with a metabolism issue and and
<<2441>> not an aging issue because biologically
<<2443>> we really don't start aging until 25 and
<<2446>> so for that individual they may say well
<<2448>> I need metap power assist for women more
<<2452>> than men they may want to use bone
<<2454>> nutrient every day because genetic Al
<<2457>> based upon gender they're at higher risk
<<2461>> for having challenges with bones as they
<<2463>> age more than men are so therefore
<<2466>> taking bone nutrient every day can be
<<2468>> extremely helpful for those individuals
<<2470>> so um just kind of knowing who we are
<<2473>> where we are and the issues that we're
<<2476>> dealing with someone that may have a
<<2478>> very hectic lifestyle very fast-paced
<<2481>> may want to be on our adaptive every
<<2484>> single day to help them deal with some
<<2487>> of those feelings and some of those
<<2489>> issues that they may have challenges
<<2490>> with somebody that has a very physically
<<2493>> difficult job um where they're doing
<<2496>> hard labor every day um may want to be
<<2499>> saying well for me every day I need to
<<2502>> be on deep blue polyphenols or turmeric
<<2504>> every day or you know our copias soft
<<2508>> gels every day to make sure that I'm
<<2510>> supporting a system for the physical job
<<2513>> that I do so knowing what each does and
<<2517>> the lifestyle that I live then I can
<<2520>> know which ones I should be grabbing for
<<2523>> to supplement my Foundation that we've
<<2525>> already talked about yeah beautiful um
<<2530>> like a second ago you mentioned metap
<<2532>> power assist and that triggered my next
<<2535>> question you probably already know where
<<2536>> I'm going with this but I keep receiving
<<2540>> a lot of question of are the supplements
<<2543>> that interact with each other and yeah
<<2546>> do we have a rule of you know
<<2548>> supplements that are best to to be taken
<<2551>> together and some that are best to be
<<2553>> taken
<<2554>> separately right so here's the deal let
<<2558>> and let me just tell you this is a
<<2559>> testament to me that dotera is a
<<2562>> science-based company okay um when uh
<<2568>> metap power assist first came out and
<<2570>> remember metap power assist has in it
<<2573>> mberry extract which has a compound in
<<2576>> it called DNA J now D&J inhibits a
<<2580>> digestive enzyme in our GI tract in
<<2583>> which we that digestive enzyme breaks
<<2586>> down carbohydrates so if D&J binds that
<<2589>> enzyme then all of a sudden we're not
<<2592>> breaking down carbohydrates and they
<<2594>> pass through the system better and
<<2596>> therefore we keep better control of our
<<2599>> blood sugar okay now people would say
<<2602>> well Dr Riggs um if I take terme which
<<2606>> is digestive enzymes and I take my metap
<<2610>> power assyst wouldn't that cancel each
<<2612>> other out and we said absolutely yes it
<<2614>> probably does just scientifically
<<2617>> thinking about the principles here uh
<<2620>> those two together would cancel each
<<2622>> other out but we said you know what and
<<2624>> we're going to do a study to show what
<<2627>> happens there okay so we did a small
<<2630>> pilot study oh wow and we found that
<<2635>> taking them together actually in
<<2637>> enhances the power of metap power assist
<<2641>> it does not diminish it and so now we
<<2644>> have to and and everyone that's on the
<<2646>> research team right we all took a look
<<2649>> at the data and said can we explain this
<<2652>> no it doesn't make any sense
<<2654>> scientifically but observationally what
<<2657>> we found is when you take terasme and
<<2659>> metap Paris together you have better
<<2663>> control of your blood sugars not
<<2665>> worse and so we're now telling people
<<2668>> you can take those two together it's
<<2670>> actually probably better to take those
<<2672>> two together than taking them separately
<<2674>> now we hope at some point to be able to
<<2676>> figure out why exactly that's happening
<<2678>> that's more for us that are on the
<<2680>> science side of wow what are we learning
<<2683>> here from this because we don't
<<2685>> understand it but we're willing to tell
<<2687>> you we were wrong in what we told you at
<<2691>> first and science has shown that and so
<<2694>> therefore we're now quite comfortable
<<2695>> saying you can take those supplements
<<2697>> together no problem uh it wouldn't be an
<<2699>> issue I really don't know of other
<<2703>> supplements that you can't take together
<<2706>> you can take many supplements together
<<2708>> keeping in
<<2709>> mind the GI tract yeah if we overload
<<2714>> the system that might not be a good
<<2716>> thing and so think about like microplex
<<2719>> vmz um and our X omegas and our bone
<<2723>> nutrient all have vitamin D in them and
<<2725>> so therefore maybe all three of those at
<<2728>> the same time so if if someone were to
<<2730>> ask me well you you could take them all
<<2732>> at the same time but if you're having
<<2733>> some issues with that maybe take your
<<2735>> bone nutrient at a different time than
<<2737>> you're taking your vmz and your ex
<<2739>> omegas just so that you get better
<<2741>> absorption of that vitamin D as you as
<<2744>> you deal with that but um there are some
<<2747>> cautions with um certain type of
<<2750>> medications and supplements so for
<<2752>> instance if you're on a blood thinner
<<2755>> you probably shouldn't be taking
<<2757>> turmeric Duo caps very often turmeric
<<2760>> can actually thin the blood a little bit
<<2762>> and if you're already having a medicine
<<2764>> that's doing that just be aware that
<<2766>> turmeric may make that blood too thin it
<<2769>> may put you in a little bit of a tough
<<2770>> predicament so there are other things
<<2772>> you might choose deep blue polyphenols
<<2774>> copias soft gels that don't have that
<<2776>> blood thinning effect but for instance
<<2778>> turmeric and blood thinner is probably
<<2780>> not a wise decision to take
<<2782>> together thank you I feel like our
<<2786>> viewers and listener will be uh mind
<<2789>> blown to say the least to realize that
<<2791>> actually they can take metapo assist and
<<2794>> Theos together because I promise you
<<2797>> branik this has been the most received
<<2800>> question of the year at least yeah I get
<<2804>> asked that very very frequently and and
<<2806>> to be honest with you I'm I'm actually I
<<2809>> like it when our science Pro something
<<2811>> new and and that despite not making
<<2815>> sense to us scientific speically if
<<2818>> we're seeing it we're going to tell you
<<2821>> and be very upfront with you we were
<<2823>> wrong I I don't have you know I'm not
<<2826>> worried about saying I was wrong I've
<<2828>> been wrong lots of times before I'm
<<2830>> going to be wrong in the future we all
<<2832>> do the best we can and I'm happy to tell
<<2834>> you when we find out something that we
<<2837>> weren't sure about and then let you know
<<2840>> yep we were incorrect on that and to me
<<2842>> it it is a testament to the company that
<<2844>> we're with which is we're always looking
<<2847>> at the science we're always interested
<<2850>> in data to prove or to show what we
<<2853>> think is happening um and constantly
<<2857>> looking at the science to determine do
<<2858>> we need to update products are we
<<2860>> learning something new about a product
<<2863>> that we should now incorporate into that
<<2865>> product or are we Lear learning
<<2867>> something new about an ingredient that
<<2869>> we should be getting rid of because the
<<2871>> science is now showing this particular
<<2874>> ingredient causes problems and then
<<2876>> we're happy to update that product now
<<2879>> the challenge is 50% of our audience is
<<2882>> thrilled when we update a product and
<<2885>> 50% of the audience is so mad they just
<<2887>> want to beat us up in a dark alley
<<2890>> right but but please know we don't take
<<2894>> product updates lightly we really do try
<<2897>> to follow our science and those things
<<2900>> that are coming out in the scientific
<<2901>> literature to really make sure that
<<2903>> we're on The Cutting Edge of the
<<2906>> technology vitamins minerals
<<2908>> supplements and that we make those
<<2910>> product changes not likely lightly we
<<2912>> really take a look at them and once
<<2915>> there's enough science to either remove
<<2916>> ingredients or to to change the
<<2919>> technology of it we're going to update
<<2921>> that product and we hope that as you
<<2924>> adapt and get over that change I know
<<2926>> there's a little bit of shock with
<<2927>> change and other people are better with
<<2929>> change and other people not so great
<<2931>> with you no everyone loves change but
<<2934>> it's part of the human nature correct
<<2936>> it's inevitable right change is
<<2938>> inevitable and so therefore when we get
<<2940>> an updated product we hope that you'll
<<2942>> receive that recognize that we're we're
<<2944>> really trying to follow The Cutting Edge
<<2946>> of Science and get you the best product
<<2947>> that we can with what we have and so um
<<2951>> it's a it's a beautiful thing when we
<<2952>> change products it's really as I said
<<2955>> either eliminating something that new
<<2957>> science is coming out saying we should
<<2958>> not be having that or it's adding some
<<2962>> things that need to be added that
<<2964>> science is saying now is very important
<<2966>> for us another question that comes up
<<2968>> quite often is um about safety use of
<<2972>> essential oils and the question is how
<<2974>> many supplement can I safely take
<<2977>> without exceeding the um you know the
<<2980>> the threshold for internal use if I'm
<<2983>> also maybe uh diffusing oils or taking
<<2986>> oils uh in any other way yeah it's a
<<2991>> it's a good question there are
<<2993>> challenges with that question I'll be
<<2994>> honest with you science not yet figured
<<2998>> out how to answer that question I'll
<<3000>> give you the example from the medical
<<3002>> world um we know with a large amount of
<<3006>> confidence how a medication interacts
<<3009>> with the human body we're quite
<<3011>> comfortable with saying if you're taking
<<3013>> this particular thing we know how it
<<3015>> acts in the body yeah we
<<3018>> know fairly
<<3021>> well how two different medications
<<3024>> interact in the body because now you
<<3026>> have how this one's working in the body
<<3029>> how this one's working in the body and
<<3031>> now you have the complication to figure
<<3033>> out what are the interactions they're
<<3035>> having on each other in the human body
<<3038>> we're okay with understanding that once
<<3042>> you get Beyond two of
<<3045>> anything we don't really have the
<<3048>> science to understand how all of those
<<3051>> things are interacting in the body if
<<3053>> you add a third medication to that and
<<3055>> many of our older generation are taking
<<3059>> multiple
<<3060>> medications and we have no idea zero
<<3064>> insight into how all those things are
<<3066>> working together now we do it doctors
<<3069>> prescribe those medications all the time
<<3071>> in numerous amounts to patients because
<<3074>> they're addressing issues that really
<<3075>> can't be addressed or they don't know of
<<3077>> a way to address them in another way and
<<3080>> so thankfully they're there and can be
<<3083>> helpful for individuals now when it
<<3084>> comes to our supplements now let's turn
<<3086>> away from traditional Western medicine
<<3087>> and turn to our supplements when we're
<<3090>> talking about our supplements we know
<<3092>> fairly well how a couple of supplements
<<3094>> do in the body once you add essential
<<3098>> oils to that mix let's say that I am um
<<3102>> putting deep blue on my knee every
<<3104>> single day we know that's absorbed
<<3106>> through the skin it gets into my
<<3108>> system but we don't have a way to
<<3111>> measure scientifically what's happening
<<3114>> with my XY Omega my Alpha CRS my vmz and
<<3117>> that amount of Deep Blue that gets
<<3119>> absorbed in the bloodstream to see what
<<3121>> is that interaction like we just don't
<<3124>> have the technology science has not
<<3126>> gotten good enough so let me teach a
<<3128>> principle about this because I do know
<<3130>> people that say well I'm taking all the
<<3134>> things right yeah they'll come up to me
<<3136>> and say Dr RS I'm taking all the stuff
<<3139>> that DOA makes and you go well tell me
<<3142>> why and they say well because dotera
<<3145>> makes it mhm and so my thought is just
<<3148>> because dotera makes it doesn't mean you
<<3151>> have to take it I absolutely love this
<<3154>> quote of yours that's Branny Craigs I
<<3156>> love
<<3157>> it so the issue is this start with your
<<3160>> foundation right I don't know a single
<<3162>> person that doesn't need llv take it
<<3164>> every single day if you're over the age
<<3166>> of 25 take your metap power Advantage
<<3169>> every single day if you oh well and
<<3172>> everyone from kids on up should be
<<3175>> taking a probio every day PB restore PB
<<3179>> assist right um those things are
<<3182>> foundational beyond that choose the
<<3185>> things that you need to address like we
<<3188>> talked earlier what your particular
<<3191>> lifestyle is as I said if you have a
<<3193>> physically demanding job choose the
<<3195>> things that are going to support you
<<3197>> continuing to do that physically
<<3198>> demanding job right um choose your your
<<3201>> copias soft gels choose your deep blue
<<3204>> polyphenols choose your t Duo caps that
<<3207>> support the system due to the physical
<<3210>> demands you're placing on your body if
<<3212>> you're a woman and you're middle-aged
<<3213>> and childbearing age then you may want
<<3215>> to choose the um bone nutrient to make
<<3218>> sure you're supporting bone a healthy
<<3220>> bone life throughout your life if you
<<3223>> are
<<3224>> um as an example dealing with hormonal
<<3228>> issues or you're saying look I really
<<3230>> want to support a regular hormonal uh
<<3233>> cycle then you may need to choose are
<<3236>> phytoestrogens as an example because
<<3238>> you're addressing some of those concerns
<<3240>> that you have and saying I need more
<<3243>> hormonal support and my phytoestrogens
<<3245>> are going to be great but if you're a
<<3247>> female and you have a system that's
<<3248>> working perfectly right you're having
<<3251>> normal Cycles there's no issues with it
<<3253>> you're doing great then you probably
<<3256>> don't need phytoestrogen just because
<<3258>> your system is already making the
<<3260>> estrogens it needs it's doing healthy
<<3263>> you don't have a whole lot of exogenous
<<3265>> or external
<<3267>> estrogens getting into the system you
<<3269>> can actually just based on the system
<<3272>> that you already have you're producing
<<3274>> those naturally so make sure that you're
<<3276>> choosing your supplements based on you
<<3280>> yourself it goes back to the principle
<<3281>> that we talked about Ludo is listen yeah
<<3284>> listen to your body and if you tune in
<<3287>> if you take a few moments every day to
<<3289>> just listen to your body your body will
<<3291>> tell you what it needs I have a belief
<<3295>> that we've been given this amazing
<<3296>> physical body right this is a very
<<3298>> complicated machine that we're just
<<3300>> beginning to scratch the surface in
<<3303>> understanding but with that physical
<<3305>> body we've been given the opportunity to
<<3308>> listen to it as well there is a voice
<<3311>> inside of us that will tell us what we
<<3313>> should be doing if we'll simply take
<<3316>> Quiet Moments to listen to it and figure
<<3318>> out all right here's what I need right
<<3320>> now and then we can pick and choose from
<<3323>> these amazing supplements we've been
<<3325>> given I'll tell you in probably any
<<3327>> given month I'm using all of our
<<3330>> supplements but just not all at the same
<<3331>> time I'm using this one or that one or
<<3335>> this one on any given day based upon
<<3337>> what's going on in my life and what I'm
<<3339>> doing um because say for instance
<<3342>> Saturdays like when I'm here in the
<<3344>> office I'm going to meetings and I'm
<<3345>> sitting in behind desks and I'm being on
<<3348>> Zoom calls and all of those things
<<3351>> that's a very different day than
<<3352>> Saturdays when I'm working in our
<<3354>> Orchard working in our garden the lawn
<<3357>> those are much more physically demanding
<<3359>> days in which I'm going to need very
<<3361>> different supplements than I will with a
<<3363>> day in the office
<<3366>> right I love everything that you said
<<3368>> and that quote I wish we could just
<<3370>> print it everywhere and just have it on
<<3373>> the wall um I think it's a testament to
<<3375>> the company again to show that you know
<<3378>> there are companies out there that just
<<3379>> want to push products out and we say no
<<3382>> listen to your body start to educate
<<3385>> yourself and really learn how we
<<3387>> function to make better choices um and
<<3391>> not just taking 100 supplements in in
<<3395>> one go so yeah yeah for instance yeah I
<<3398>> love that and to be honest with you if I
<<3400>> could and I appreciate I guess from a
<<3403>> business perspective I appreciate those
<<3404>> that are out there taking everything we
<<3406>> make but if I could take a magic wand
<<3408>> and sacrifice those that mindset for the
<<3412>> mindset of foundational wellness and say
<<3415>> look what I want everyone to be doing
<<3418>> every single person that's listening to
<<3420>> this is to take your llv every day take
<<3422>> your metap power Advantage every day
<<3424>> take your PB restore every day those
<<3427>> things are more
<<3430>> important than taking everything all the
<<3433>> time we actually have less need for all
<<3436>> the other things right because these are
<<3440>> supporting ourselves and if these things
<<3442>> are supporting ourselves then I don't
<<3445>> need those other things nearly as often
<<3447>> as I used
<<3449>> to beautiful and another key word that
<<3451>> you just use is consistency sometimes if
<<3454>> feel like uh people would like to have
<<3456>> that magic want that you mentioned and
<<3458>> just seeing results this quick and the
<<3461>> truth is that that is not possible so I
<<3463>> guess my question is how long can we
<<3466>> expect uh or how long do we need to
<<3468>> allocate before we can start seeing a
<<3471>> result or before we can start feeling
<<3473>> any difference in our body it's a great
<<3476>> question question great question I I
<<3478>> would say once you're on the maximum
<<3481>> dose of llv right the 2 in the morning
<<3484>> two in the evening of everything um give
<<3487>> that 30 days okay you may not feel it if
<<3490>> you're starting at that one a day um you
<<3493>> may not feel it in that first two weeks
<<3495>> because you're just taking one a day
<<3496>> it's a very small amount but one you're
<<3498>> once you're on the full dose and you're
<<3501>> taking that every day within 30 days you
<<3503>> should feel different now I often also
<<3506>> hear from our long-term Wellness
<<3508>> Advocates that have been taking llv for
<<3511>> years and years and years and they say
<<3513>> Dr Riggs I just don't feel any different
<<3516>> on llv
<<3517>> anymore and you know what I tell them
<<3519>> Ludo what do you tell them I say great
<<3523>> stop taking it okay they're like what
<<3525>> what they say yeah stop taking it and
<<3528>> they say why I said because you
<<3529>> forgotten what you felt like before your
<<3533>> new Norm is feeling good when you feel
<<3536>> good every single day it's not like
<<3538>> you're like oh yeah I remember eight
<<3540>> years ago when I wasn't feeling good
<<3542>> every day right yeah so when you're
<<3545>> feeling great every day that's the norm
<<3547>> right I'm just used to feeling this good
<<3549>> all the time and so therefore I don't
<<3551>> feel this anymore I just feel this say
<<3554>> great just become the Norms right
<<3557>> correct and so if you stop taking it
<<3559>> every single one has come back to me
<<3561>> that's done this now not everybody does
<<3563>> it but every single one that's done this
<<3565>> have said within a week or two I
<<3568>> remembered why I was taking
<<3570>> llv I wasn't feeling good anymore and I
<<3574>> remembered how I used to feel and now
<<3576>> I'm back on it because I feel so much
<<3579>> better on it than off of it yeah
<<3581>> sometimes we have to be reminded we
<<3583>> here's where we were and now we're here
<<3586>> right but once that becomes a new norm
<<3589>> and we forget what it felt like to be
<<3591>> here maybe a little reminder every once
<<3594>> in a while right like oh yeah
<<3596>> I used to not take this and this is how
<<3598>> I felt so I love it it's a nice test
<<3602>> that we can all try every now and then
<<3604>> yeah yeah although for me you know be
<<3607>> maybe just because I get the opportunity
<<3609>> to talk to so many amazing Wellness
<<3611>> Advocates and people out there um for me
<<3614>> I don't need to do that because I have
<<3616>> lots of people that have already done
<<3617>> that test for me and have come back and
<<3620>> said oh I I I remember I didn't feel
<<3622>> good so when I get the thought in my
<<3623>> head boy am I am I real feeling much
<<3626>> better on this I can go back to their
<<3629>> experience and go oh yeah if I stop
<<3632>> taking this I know how I'll feel because
<<3635>> they've done that experiment and I don't
<<3637>> need to do that I just stay on it and
<<3640>> I'm very very religious about it so
<<3643>> that's beautiful learning from somebody
<<3645>> else's experience sounds sounds pretty
<<3648>> good yes
<<3650>> yes and this brings me to another Point
<<3653>> um and another question for you are
<<3656>> there any moments in our life where we
<<3658>> should maybe consider stopping the
<<3661>> supplements or posing for a short a
<<3663>> short moment in time yeah I've heard
<<3666>> this theory of perhaps if we stop taking
<<3670>> it for a better for a period of time
<<3672>> then we'll better absorb it when we take
<<3675>> it again um I would say I don't have any
<<3678>> science to back that up I'm not aware of
<<3680>> any literature that says a pause in
<<3683>> taking supplements makes it it better
<<3686>> for us later on and so um I'm actually
<<3691>> not a a fan of that um now there are
<<3695>> times in which we may want to um
<<3699>> decrease our supplement so for instance
<<3702>> um my father is 83 years old today today
<<3706>> is his birthday he and I were talking on
<<3708>> the phone this morning and having a
<<3711>> conversation of at
<<3713>> 83 perhaps you don't need the full dose
<<3717>> of what you're taking he's taking his
<<3719>> llv every day I want you to go down to
<<3722>> three pills a day because as we age our
<<3725>> lives are getting a little bit less
<<3727>> vigorous we're doing less things um Etc
<<3732>> uh and so therefore he probably could
<<3735>> deal with a little bit less um for
<<3737>> instance also my children so I still we
<<3740>> have five children two of which are
<<3742>> still at home the two youngest um Are
<<3745>> Young is a 10-year-old girl and then we
<<3747>> have a 12-year-old boy they don't take
<<3750>> the full dose of llv they take a half
<<3753>> dose of llv every day and so as they get
<<3755>> a little bit older as Canyon our 12-y
<<3758>> old gets to be about 14 15 years old
<<3761>> he'll take three pills of everything
<<3763>> every day and then as he hits about 18
<<3765>> or 19 he'll go on the full dose so we
<<3768>> can as long as our children can take
<<3770>> pills we may want to kind of taper them
<<3772>> up based upon their uh particular age
<<3777>> and how big they are um and then of
<<3780>> course for individuals that are even
<<3782>> adults let's say for instance that we
<<3784>> have an adult that um is very slight and
<<3788>> petite you know I know adults that are
<<3790>> like this tall and very very thin they
<<3793>> probably don't need the full dose of llv
<<3796>> they're probably find it two or three a
<<3799>> day depending upon their size this is
<<3801>> really based upon our recommendations
<<3803>> are based upon the typical adult May and
<<3806>> female so somewhere between 150 and 200
<<3809>> pound so if you've got an adult that
<<3811>> only weighs 100 pound because they're
<<3813>> genetics are they very slight as an
<<3815>> individual then you probably don't need
<<3817>> the full adult dose and you must have
<<3819>> read my mind because my next question
<<3821>> was going to be about children um so
<<3825>> yeah mind
<<3827>> connection um and that's all about
<<3829>> that's all about really whether they can
<<3830>> swallow pills or not if they can swallow
<<3833>> pills of course they can be on llv if
<<3836>> can't um then you may want to go to some
<<3838>> liquid vitamins or um something that
<<3842>> they can chew right a chewable vitamin
<<3844>> for them they still need vitamins though
<<3847>> we we tend to think well just adults
<<3849>> need those co-actors but the fact is
<<3851>> probably more importantly as children
<<3853>> are developing to get them the
<<3856>> co-factors like the healthy fats for
<<3858>> brain development AB the the healthy
<<3861>> minerals and vitamins for cellular
<<3863>> development they're still developing in
<<3865>> growing organs and so it's probably more
<<3869>> important for them even to have good
<<3871>> supplementation and so let's not leave
<<3874>> them out of those great benefits that
<<3875>> they can have of having good healthy
<<3878>> Omega-3s and our vitamins minerals etc
<<3882>> for them to be to grow up to be healthy
<<3884>> and strong are those the supplements
<<3886>> that you would um recommend um our
<<3890>> audience should give to their kids and
<<3891>> is this what you are suggesting or
<<3894>> nudging your kids
<<3896>> TOS yeah yes for sure so a chewable
<<3899>> vitamin in the morning when they're when
<<3901>> they were younger that's what we did and
<<3903>> we did liquid Omega fatty acids every
<<3905>> day so they had their vitamins minerals
<<3908>> and Omega fatty acids every day when
<<3910>> they were younger now that they're able
<<3911>> to swallow pills of 10 and 12 I've
<<3913>> simply moved them to the llv where
<<3916>> they've started to transition to that
<<3917>> and take that every single day um and so
<<3921>> yes for sure that's very
<<3923>> important I know we talked about safety
<<3926>> uh but are there any phases any
<<3928>> particular phases in life where somebody
<<3931>> should not take supplements or
<<3934>> should completely stop what do you think
<<3936>> yeah so typically what we find is that
<<3941>> with individuals that are under so for
<<3943>> instance if they're undergoing surgery
<<3945>> stopping if they're taking turmeric Duo
<<3947>> caps because again I mentioned that it
<<3949>> does thin the blood a little bit
<<3951>> stopping those turmeric Duo caps about
<<3953>> five to seven days before the surgery
<<3955>> would be helpful it's not absolutely
<<3957>> necessary if we go into an emergent
<<3959>> surgery and we have those on board uh
<<3962>> it's going to make the surgery a little
<<3964>> bit more difficult and the surgeon's
<<3966>> going to have to deal with that so it's
<<3967>> not a gam stopper but when given the
<<3970>> choice if we're having an elective
<<3971>> surgery being aware stopping those um
<<3975>> five to seven days before the surgery
<<3976>> would be wise probably stopping our llv
<<3980>> a few days before the surgery would be
<<3982>> wise as well um and so just kind of
<<3985>> knowing those things other than that
<<3988>> like for instance when you think about
<<3990>> pregnancy I get the question quite
<<3991>> commonly okay Dr rigs I'm pregnant do I
<<3994>> have to stop taking this no actually now
<<3997>> you have another person on board that
<<4000>> needs those minerals as well remember we
<<4002>> talked about the importance of
<<4003>> developing organs and how much they rely
<<4006>> on our healthy fats and our vitamins and
<<4008>> minerals to develop those now you're
<<4011>> growing a person in you and so therefore
<<4015>> it's even more important that you're
<<4017>> taking your llv as a matter of fact for
<<4019>> a lot of individuals I'll recommend they
<<4021>> take a dose and a half of our lovv
<<4024>> during pregnancy because that baby
<<4029>> amazingly will take from Mom what it
<<4032>> needs that's its job is to say look I
<<4036>> need this we know that's what children
<<4038>> do they take what they need right and
<<4040>> our job as parents is to give them what
<<4042>> they need not always what they want but
<<4045>> what they need need right and so for
<<4048>> instance that when that baby is taking
<<4050>> everything that it needs from Mom Mom
<<4052>> can sometimes be left after the
<<4054>> pregnancy with pretty significant
<<4057>> challenges due to the fact the baby has
<<4059>> stripped some of those nutrients from
<<4061>> her and so making sure that she's
<<4063>> supplying enough nutrients not only for
<<4065>> herself but for that developing person
<<4068>> in her can be extremely helpful for her
<<4069>> to be taking that llv during pregnancy
<<4072>> at that time perfect thank you and is it
<<4076>> correct is it safe to say that when in
<<4078>> doubt uh obviously we always encourage
<<4080>> people to speak with their GP their
<<4083>> health professional the doctors uh if
<<4085>> they need extra guidance absolutely yes
<<4089>> yes your physician your physician should
<<4091>> know and and I always recommend when
<<4093>> talking to your physician about these
<<4095>> things saying look doctor I'm I'm taking
<<4097>> these things and I just want to make
<<4098>> sure that this is okay with what we're
<<4102>> doing sometimes doctors push back simply
<<4105>> because they don't know they just they
<<4107>> just don't know much about that when
<<4111>> they say oh stop taking that my
<<4113>> recommendation for you as a patient is
<<4115>> to say can you help me understand why
<<4118>> push a little bit harder because
<<4121>> sometimes doctors will have enough
<<4123>> training to say here's why here's what
<<4124>> my concern is this this and this can
<<4127>> cause problems with this and so
<<4128>> therefore I need you to stop taking this
<<4131>> for whatever period of time but uh if
<<4134>> they don't know if they don't have any
<<4136>> training or education they may simply be
<<4138>> saying that just out of fear just stop
<<4141>> taking this well why because I don't
<<4143>> know anything about it well that's not
<<4145>> really a good reason what I need to know
<<4147>> is please can you help me understand the
<<4149>> reason I'm this is my health I'm the
<<4152>> patient I'm dealing with the challenges
<<4155>> that I'm seeking your advice on as a
<<4158>> physician so please educate me as to why
<<4161>> you're recommending that I don't do
<<4163>> these things and that puts it back on
<<4165>> the physician or GP to come up with the
<<4170>> reasons and educate them and help people
<<4172>> understand the science of here's why I'm
<<4175>> concerned about this and that's okay I
<<4177>> think that's wonderful when they can
<<4179>> come back with an answer for us but when
<<4180>> they just say stop yeah often it's
<<4183>> because of fear and they don't really
<<4184>> have any understanding of what this is
<<4186>> doing and all these goes back to
<<4189>> education right correct so yeah yeah
<<4193>> this is why I'm so passionate about what
<<4195>> I do here at dotera is when I can help
<<4197>> Physicians understand when I can help
<<4200>> individuals understand the value of what
<<4202>> we have here and really help them
<<4205>> understand why we're recommending what
<<4207>> we recommend now of a sudden when I
<<4210>> understand the why as an individual I'm
<<4212>> more likely to do what I've been asked
<<4214>> to do when someone just simply says go
<<4216>> and do this and I don't understand the
<<4219>> underlying reason why or what the
<<4221>> expectation is or what's going to happen
<<4223>> I'm really not likely to do it when I'm
<<4225>> just told to do this thing but when I
<<4227>> understand the why when a physician can
<<4229>> sit down and help us understand why he's
<<4232>> recommending whatever it is he's
<<4234>> recommending our compliance to that
<<4236>> thing goes way up because now of a
<<4238>> sudden I'm invested and understand here
<<4241>> I get what the goal is I understand what
<<4244>> I'm trying to do and what my physician
<<4246>> is trying to help me accomplish with
<<4248>> this thing that he's
<<4250>> asked you couldn't have said it better
<<4252>> bik so thank you and this is a exactly
<<4255>> why I wanted to have this webinar with
<<4258>> you to welcome people in the supplement
<<4260>> guide and hopefully have this well two
<<4263>> tools the physical guide the the eBook
<<4267>> The PDF and also us
<<4269>> forever living on forever with this
<<4272>> webinar that people can go back and
<<4274>> refer to whenever they're in doubt and
<<4277>> uh they might need to relisten because
<<4279>> we have unpacked quite a bit and
<<4282>> hopefully we'll have more in the future
<<4284>> who knows yeah
<<4285>> um but before we close um any last words
<<4289>> of wisdom uh golden nuggets something
<<4292>> that we should um keep in our minds
<<4296>> forever i' I'd like to just hit we've
<<4298>> talked a lot about vitamins and minerals
<<4300>> here I want to talk for just a second
<<4303>> about Omega fatty
<<4305>> acids we we sometimes Overlook those and
<<4309>> we you know I think vitamins and
<<4310>> minerals gets all the Press whereas
<<4312>> Omega fatty acids don't really we don't
<<4315>> really really talk about those Omega
<<4317>> fatty acids are so important for us and
<<4321>> I want to kind of help us understand why
<<4324>> and maybe some uniqueness of our Omega
<<4327>> fatty acids that may help us understand
<<4330>> again that reason why I should be taking
<<4333>> them Omega fatty acids particularly
<<4335>> Omega-3s are so helpful for our system
<<4339>> there's Omega-3s Omega 6s and Omega 9s
<<4342>> now those fatty acids are long
<<4346>> chains okay of fatty acids but the
<<4350>> reason that Omega-3s Omega sixes and
<<4352>> Omega 9s are so important is because
<<4354>> those chains of fatty acids don't just
<<4357>> look like this they don't just fall in a
<<4359>> line
<<4360>> here in which they can stack on top of
<<4363>> each other really well I think about egg
<<4365>> cartons we have chickens so I think
<<4367>> about kind of simple things if you put
<<4370>> egg cartons on top of each other they
<<4371>> just stack right on top of each other
<<4374>> and then you try to twist that egg
<<4375>> carton it's not very pliable it doesn't
<<4379>> move very well but Omega fatty acids 3
<<4382>> sixes and nines three sixes and nines
<<4385>> they don't stack because they have these
<<4388>> double bonds and now of a sudden when
<<4390>> you put things that don't stack very
<<4392>> well on top of each other now all of a
<<4394>> sudden they move very easily right think
<<4397>> about putting eggs in the egg cartons
<<4399>> and then stacking them on top of each
<<4401>> other now they're
<<4403>> bendable our cells are made of fatty
<<4407>> acids the cell walls are yeah we need
<<4410>> those cells to be really pliable and be
<<4413>> able to move very fluidly and they work
<<4416>> better that way and so therefore making
<<4420>> sure that we're having Omega-3s Omega
<<4422>> sixes and Omega 9es in our diet is very
<<4425>> helpful for us and so having things like
<<4427>> cold water fish Etc helpful for our diet
<<4430>> but also and and avocados I mentioned
<<4433>> earlier great source of healthy
<<4435>> fats but also making sure that we're
<<4438>> supplementing with a goat Omega fatty
<<4439>> acid supplement is extremely helpful and
<<4442>> here's the uniqueness of our Omega fatty
<<4445>> acids we have a carotenoid blend in ours
<<4450>> carotenoids are those things like
<<4452>> lycopene lutein aanin and zanthin which
<<4456>> all play a significant role in our body
<<4459>> very helpful for us and so therefore
<<4462>> it's really a beautiful combination of
<<4465>> having our Omega fatty acids and our our
<<4470>> carotenoid blend in our llv or in our X
<<4473>> Omega so helpful for the human body
<<4476>> again something I take every single day
<<4479>> I actually take a dose and a half I take
<<4482>> six tablets a day of that one six
<<4483>> capsules a day because I've read the
<<4485>> literature so helpful for us um and so I
<<4489>> don't want to have those kind of take a
<<4491>> back shelf to the other things we've
<<4493>> talked about because they to play an
<<4496>> important role in our bodies and we need
<<4498>> to make sure that we're having those
<<4501>> both as part of our diet as well as
<<4503>> supplementation to make sure that we're
<<4505>> healthy and can have a long and healthy
<<4507>> life so that's the last thing I want to
<<4509>> leave you
<<4511>> with Dr rigs thank you so much for being
<<4515>> here with us today for welcoming people
<<4518>> uh to this very vast and at times
<<4521>> confusing word I've I feel like I've
<<4524>> gained a lot of knowledge as every time
<<4526>> I'm speaking with you so I hope that
<<4528>> this is uh what we created today is
<<4531>> truly a unique resource for our audience
<<4535>> and our members that they can keep on
<<4537>> using and using um endless time so again
<<4541>> thank you so much for your time it's
<<4543>> been a pleasure to have you here and
<<4545>> maybe next time we can have a meditation
<<4547>> session together that sounds great thank
<<4550>> you Ludo I appreciate it been pleasure
<<4552>> to be with you today
