<<10>> tips to help you live your best daughter

<<13>> alive my name is lud Cato FR education

<<16>> manager for DOA Europe and I'm pleased

<<18>> to be your host today please know that

<<21>> this episode is also available in

<<22>> Romanian today's guest is presidential

<<25>> Diamond Joan bu Club jojan made a

<<28>> transition from working as a ared to

<<31>> becoming a full-time Wellness Advocate

<<33>> and had never looked back she had three

<<35>> children a husband and she is a

<<38>> respected leader to countless

<<39>> like-minded

<<45>> people djana welcome to the podcast

<<48>> thank you lud thank you for having me

<<50>> here for thank you for inviting me I'm

<<52>> so honored to speak with you today and

<<56>> to so many of you so I know we had a

<<59>> little inter ction before the podcast

<<61>> and we just started chatting and that

<<63>> almost felt like the real podcast but

<<65>> let's do it all over again for our um

<<68>> for our guest who will be listening to

<<71>> us so before we actually get started

<<74>> could you please talk a bit about

<<75>> yourself maybe introduce yourself for

<<78>> the people who don't know you yet yes of

<<81>> course I'm a mother of three now as um

<<85>> as you are introducing me um our

<<88>> youngest daughter we have three three

<<90>> daughters actually our our youngest one

<<92>> is only one year old and our biggest one

<<95>> is now 11 years old but used to be one

<<99>> when DOA entered our Liv so it's very

<<101>> interesting the moment that uh we record

<<104>> this podcast because it's like a a

<<106>> circle that um is very well rounded um

<<110>> my story started um as um one child in a

<<115>> very beautiful family that I totally

<<117>> love and while I was raising as a child

<<121>> I was so so well carried for and so

<<124>> loved but so sick at the same time I had

<<127>> a lot of health challenges so I raised

<<133>> in this family that was protecting me

<<136>> very very um tied because I was um an

<<140>> expected child for eight years my mother

<<142>> expected a child and she also lost a

<<145>> pregnancy so by the time I came I was

<<148>> really the precious one

<<150>> this also led to um a vicious circle

<<154>> let's let's say so a large part of my

<<158>> life I spent with these health

<<161>> challenges but on the other side as a

<<164>> raising kid I

<<166>> was very ambitious and um doing

<<170>> everything that was um brought in my in

<<174>> my path starting with violin then Arts

<<178>> the art school then matths and then

<<181>> architecture so for six years and

<<183>> another two years in urbanism I was

<<186>> having this um specialty of taking care

<<190>> of the environment and my mission was to

<<193>> raise the quality of life for people and

<<197>> yeah this is mainly the path that um

<<200>> that brought me to a moment when

<<203>> actually my life felt

<<206>> like totally falling apart a big part of

<<209>> My Life part of a system that was just

<<213>> showing you a road and you had to follow

<<216>> the road but it's not the kind of a

<<219>> story that invites you to ask questions

<<224>> or to really find the Solutions in

<<227>> yourself and this was the the main um

<<232>> epitome that I was leing at that point

<<234>> because I felt it's the bottom I felt

<<236>> it's um I I used to have dat when I

<<240>> couldn't get out of bed because of of

<<244>> the health challenges and the

<<246>> impossibility to find the right

<<248>> Solutions so my thought that it has to

<<252>> be another way it has to be another way

<<255>> of living so um part of the my story was

<<260>> this and by and I started learning I

<<264>> started looking for something else and

<<268>> by the time that there I entered my

<<271>> life this um this ground was very

<<276>> fertile because I was the the perfect

<<278>> ground where the seat of the so ready I

<<282>> was so ready I was so um hungry of

<<286>> another way of another lifestyle I was

<<289>> totally prepared especially because my

<<292>> mother with one year before Thea came in

<<295>> our life received a very heavy

<<297>> Diagnostic and um having a one-year-old

<<301>> baby already I was started to uh

<<305>> eliminate a lot of things from our

<<307>> kitchen and from our plate and to to

<<310>> change things so the the shift in in my

<<314>> mindset in my way of being already

<<317>> started but DOA came with the right

<<321>> vehicle with the right instruments and

<<325>> I I just saw it as the perfect

<<330>> glove Perfect Tool perfect vehicle to

<<333>> help me impact more people and what is

<<337>> very interesting is that it it was such

<<341>> a perfect match for every single goal

<<346>> or objective that I have the ability to

<<349>> help others with which was all the time

<<353>> yeah inside of me and the willing to

<<357>> increase the quality of life for people

<<359>> and

<<360>> also even the ability to create more

<<363>> jobs for people because as an

<<366>> architect uh we already started working

<<369>> with my

<<371>> husband we we moved back home in our

<<374>> home City and we started looking for

<<377>> needs in the public space uh things that

<<380>> were not done yet things that were

<<384>> really not helping people to live a

<<387>> happy life outside of their homes so we

<<389>> were already in this search of

<<393>> solutions and um we were we we were

<<397>> inventing in a way we were proposing

<<400>> projects um that uh that could support

<<403>> the the life of local people but also to

<<407>> create jobs for local people that could

<<410>> use their services and feel worthy and

<<413>> feel um that they can use their

<<416>> abilities for the

<<419>> the good of all Anda came with a

<<423>> philosophy that says we Source the best

<<426>> and help the most the Tera came and said

<<430>> we we help all these Farmers all over

<<433>> the world tribe in a in an environment

<<438>> where they use their skills and we also

<<441>> benefit of the best essential oils on

<<444>> the market so it was totally aligned

<<447>> with my values and I recognize it right

<<451>> from from the start that it is something

<<453>> that can really help me impact more

<<457>> people in the same direction that I was

<<460>> already looking for and already

<<464>> wanting I mean envisioning yeah oh

<<468>> that's beautiful thank you thank you for

<<471>> guiding us through that Journey

<<472>> obviously you said you were studying as

<<474>> an architect you and and you had to

<<477>> leave your career right can you please

<<479>> take us back to that moment when

<<481>> probably you had your first interaction

<<482>> with the Tera the Tera came into your

<<484>> life and then you may be considered for

<<487>> the first time leaving your full-time

<<490>> job yes it was actually it was a painful

<<495>> and challenging moment because for

<<497>> myself it felt like a sunshine it f it

<<500>> felt like a

<<502>> relief um why I say this I loved what I

<<506>> was doing and I was good at it some even

<<509>> now people tell me why did you laugh

<<511>> that you were so good at that and I'm

<<514>> like I I live my purpose now and I'm so

<<517>> happy with that but the thing is that

<<520>> yes I studied for a very long time also

<<522>> 10 years to be an architect and I

<<525>> started my career as an architect but um

<<530>> being able to to actually be involved in

<<534>> the field because it's something when

<<536>> you study it's something when you have

<<538>> dreams that you you can present to your

<<541>> teachers and worldwi I mean I was also

<<544>> studying abroad in Belgium for one year

<<546>> and um I I could bring my vision to the

<<550>> table and I could

<<553>> show um how the transformation could

<<556>> happen but in the real life actually

<<559>> there was a lot of frustration

<<561>> because you get to meet with

<<566>> municipalities with people that start to

<<569>> tell you no this is not the real life no

<<571>> you cannot do it here no you cannot do

<<573>> it in Romania our cities are not the

<<576>> same as in so I felt that it's really

<<581>> um it

<<583>> was it was not possible to to flow with

<<587>> that so this part was painful it was a

<<591>> lot of frustration there because we were

<<594>> um we had so

<<596>> much um professional specialty in what

<<600>> we were doing but not everybody saw it

<<604>> as a possibility we they were saying no

<<606>> we have to follow the path and maybe in

<<608>> 20 years we will have that uh so when

<<611>> your vision is clear I think it's also

<<614>> very important to find the right people

<<616>> that can support you but also when DOA

<<619>> came and I was like yes I want to do

<<621>> this my husband was like what I don't

<<625>> think you are I mean we we used to to go

<<630>> to a to a theater where there was this

<<633>> show where the character that was the

<<637>> wife of of the uh track driver was doing

<<642>> all these courses all these personal

<<645>> development things and she was so woo

<<648>> woo and he he doesn't speak much but

<<653>> what he says is very clear and specific

<<656>> and he was like do you want to be like

<<657>> the wife of the track driver from the

<<661>> the that just show and I was like what

<<664>> and

<<665>> actually the possibility to for your

<<669>> body to to somatize or to to react of an

<<675>> emotion that you have is very high so

<<677>> for sure that um my ear started

<<680>> suffering it was the worst

<<683>> ear thing challenge that I had in my

<<686>> entire life but this didn't stop me

<<690>> actually and this is why I say that it

<<694>> it was not easy it was not an easy

<<697>> path um but it was worth it because I

<<702>> look back now almost 10

<<705>> years later and I realized that all the

<<708>> amazing people that I met because of

<<711>> Thea I would not be

<<714>> able probably in a lifetime I I could

<<717>> not meet them in a lifetime if it was

<<720>> not this beautiful community

<<723>> that brings together so much so many

<<727>> like-minded people U light workers the

<<731>> people that want to change this world

<<733>> for the better we want I mean my vision

<<736>> is to to really be um a vector for

<<741>> Change and to live the Legacy that we

<<744>> live in this world for our kids is to

<<746>> live the world a better place than we

<<748>> found it

<<750>> not a place that is um out of resources

<<756>> or because our way of living we just

<<758>> left it worse than we found it

<<761>> right yeah you had to study for a long

<<764>> time um I remember from our conversation

<<766>> you said it was around eight years of

<<768>> studying plus two years of working and

<<771>> that's a massive investment of your time

<<774>> so did you have any internal conflict

<<777>> when you decided to step away from that

<<779>> career actually not beside besides um

<<784>> besides the the fact that as I said

<<788>> there were some um some things that were

<<792>> coming from my inner circle my beloved

<<795>> family also my mother came to tell me

<<799>> that ah actually I know how this works

<<802>> and I also tried something like this it

<<805>> won't work and I was like I know what I

<<808>> want to do in this world and I know what

<<811>> kind of people I want to bring along

<<814>> with me

<<816>> um I didn't felt inside of me um any

<<822>> hesitation because from the very

<<824>> beginning I felt very very much I guess

<<829>> it is called satisfaction in a way

<<832>> because when you help someone and when

<<835>> that person comes and thanks you

<<839>> for sleeping Better or For Less

<<843>> discomfort um after eting or for a clear

<<849>> a more clear mind or for finding their

<<852>> purpose things like this are so

<<856>> much

<<858>> fulfilling

<<859>> that the emotion that I felt at that

<<863>> moment I immediately recognized it as

<<866>> the emotion that I want to feel more

<<869>> often and it was years after that I was

<<874>> hearing Tony Robbins speaking about this

<<877>> he says that the quality of your life is

<<881>> the quality of your emotions so it's

<<884>> very important what kind of emotions you

<<887>> feel every single day if if you think

<<893>> you have a beautiful career and your

<<897>> mind says you work so much much for that

<<900>> it's your path you have to do this

<<903>> listen to these words you have to we

<<905>> don't have to do anything we have to

<<907>> listen to our soul and to find that

<<912>> place or when we see that place to

<<914>> recognize the

<<915>> opportunity for us to and and to have

<<919>> the courage to say yes because you never

<<922>> know how the life cycles back you never

<<926>> know and it is so beautiful

<<929>> what is happening to me right right now

<<933>> I mean what has happened yesterday it

<<937>> just reminds me that life is a circle

<<941>> and I started with architecture yes I

<<944>> could explain cpg because of this

<<947>> because I I used to work with Green

<<949>> Building Council and I I was saying all

<<952>> the time that this our certification is

<<955>> like the highest certification that we

<<958>> have with g buildings this is the way I

<<960>> was explaining cptg to people 9 10 years

<<965>> yes in the beginning and now I have the

<<968>> opportunity to work with this kind of

<<973>> people

<<974>> that that want to or to that were to

<<978>> implement this kind of strategies of

<<980>> sustainable strategies in the

<<983>> world and who knows maybe we will have

<<987>> our essential oils in this kind kind of

<<989>> pristine buildings it is a project that

<<992>> I work on but this I think that we are

<<996>> never behind in our journey it was one

<<998>> of the leaders from the United States at

<<1001>> one of our leadership events that used

<<1004>> to say that and I remember my tears

<<1007>> started to to to just pour on my face

<<1010>> when because she I think it was CI BTA

<<1013>> if I remember well she finished I think

<<1017>> five years ago her speech of the

<<1019>> Leadership Retreat with this phrase and

<<1023>> I was crying I was crying because I

<<1025>> immediately felt this is the place where

<<1028>> I want to be it was um it was amazing

<<1031>> and I think we are in such a beautiful

<<1035>> place so did you have to I mean I think

<<1037>> you had to definitely adapt when you

<<1040>> made the the change from architecture to

<<1043>> the life but what was the biggest

<<1046>> mindset that you had to implement just

<<1048>> step into into this new career

<<1051>> oh H this is a long conversation because

<<1056>> actually this is the main thing L you

<<1060>> you just pointed the most

<<1063>> important thing that we could that

<<1067>> anyone could focus on and we are never

<<1070>> prepared we could never

<<1073>> say I learned enough it's a journey of

<<1076>> learning of growing of developing and

<<1080>> becoming your

<<1083>> highest self in a way or no just the

<<1087>> next version of yourself it I think is

<<1090>> better to say because there is all the

<<1092>> time there is space to grow and yes I

<<1097>> had to work with my own limiting beliefs

<<1100>> a lot because I was not in a way I was

<<1105>> confident because my vision was clear

<<1108>> and I saw as people were already

<<1112>> following me and they had the results

<<1115>> and they were asking me how do you do

<<1117>> that how do you do this it was this

<<1121>> emotion that I told you about a lot of

<<1124>> joy and satisfaction but on the other

<<1127>> way I have I have my own challenges of

<<1131>> not

<<1132>> feeling that I know enough for example

<<1135>> this is something that this year I said

<<1138>> okay stop learning in a way it until now

<<1142>> I couldn't right exactly follow the my

<<1146>> own advice but it's true that sometimes

<<1149>> we tend

<<1151>> to to think we are not enough and that

<<1155>> we forget to listen to our soul as I

<<1159>> said before and to just look at what is

<<1163>> there that is guiding us to to the to

<<1167>> the right path so so it's 80% mindset

<<1172>> it's

<<1174>> 80% inner work inner

<<1180>> Universe

<<1183>> whatever moment in our life we feel we

<<1186>> are stuck or we

<<1189>> cannot pass something or reach a certain

<<1194>> next level of something if it's a

<<1196>> ranking the or something else

<<1199>> um in the beginning is to do your first

<<1202>> presentation

<<1204>> right but every single step like

<<1208>> this help helps us to grow and the

<<1211>> bigger the the bigger the resistance the

<<1214>> higher the satisfaction that you feel

<<1217>> afterwards and also it was somebody that

<<1222>> was saying um recently that every single

<<1226>> tree it has a sha a shadow right every

<<1229>> single tree has a shadow and the the

<<1231>> highest the tree the bigger the

<<1234>> Shadow the tree is our dream and the

<<1238>> shadow is our resistance our inner voice

<<1243>> that tells us you are not ready it's too

<<1246>> late you came too late um you're too

<<1252>> young you're to I don't know

<<1255>> what every it every every single person

<<1260>> has this the moment

<<1263>> we we are aware enough to recognize that

<<1268>> voice and

<<1269>> to to silence it with Grace and with

<<1273>> compassion it's our voice it's okay it's

<<1276>> okay to be there and it's okay to

<<1278>> reassure that little maybe the little

<<1282>> girl inside of little somebody inside

<<1286>> everyone that it it is okay we are safe

<<1290>> actually our brain only wants to keep us

<<1293>> safe our brain is not developed for

<<1296>> helping us evolve and grow and Think and

<<1300>> Grow Rich no our brain just wants to

<<1303>> keep us safe and it's a no don't don't

<<1306>> go there it's it's safe and if we look

<<1311>> from this perspective it it is

<<1314>> also understandable from our dear ones

<<1317>> they also want

<<1319>> want us to be safe and to to be exactly

<<1322>> as they know us I think many of the

<<1325>> people that will listen to us uh after

<<1328>> this recording will will think that

<<1330>> there are friends who don't recognize

<<1333>> them anymore and it's fine because every

<<1336>> single time we we get to be around the

<<1341>> people that appreciate us for who we are

<<1345>> appreciate us for who we become they

<<1348>> don't want to Anchor us in a past

<<1351>> version of ourselves just to for them to

<<1354>> feel Comfort comfortable for them not to

<<1358>> be shown that it is possible to step

<<1361>> into a new reality into a new life style

<<1364>> into a new way of thinking that brings

<<1368>> the results and yes this is the the 80%

<<1372>> that we have to work with the 20% is the

<<1375>> skill set that is learnable is every

<<1378>> where now it it's so much easier and

<<1381>> especially now it is easier I

<<1384>> remember the moment when I first hit

<<1388>> diamond we did not have the guides we

<<1392>> were not have we we did not have the

<<1395>> share build U grow to presidential

<<1400>> Diamond guides and it is much more

<<1403>> easier now skill set but the mindset

<<1407>> Still Remains The Challenge and it can

<<1410>> still block every single one of us if we

<<1414>> don't continuously look at it because

<<1417>> it's it's never ending work J have you

<<1422>> ever felt stuck uh in your career uh

<<1425>> with Tera maybe and how did you overcome

<<1428>> that how did you manage to get

<<1431>> unstuck I think every single time when I

<<1434>> felt stuck because I felt many times

<<1440>> I started doing something

<<1445>> different enrolling myself in a new

<<1448>> course or and I I look a lot of

<<1453>> the I look a lot for signs when I ask

<<1457>> for something I mean I recognize the

<<1460>> moment I feel stuck okay I feel stuck I

<<1463>> need to find a solution I'm a solution

<<1468>> op person I love it me too I'm a Problem

<<1471>> Solver I'm a Problem Solver Problem

<<1474>> Solver and I look for for people that

<<1476>> are solution Seekers It's amazing to

<<1479>> work with people like that so every

<<1481>> single time and I feel that and I feel

<<1484>> it immediately be because I'm very

<<1486>> sensitive to frustration it was only

<<1488>> years after that I understood that

<<1490>> actually my human design is a generator

<<1493>> and I have to move from frustration to

<<1496>> satisfaction and I'm very sensitive to

<<1499>> frustration I cannot handle it for too

<<1501>> long and I react very my family knows it

<<1505>> and um yeah so every single time I

<<1509>> detect like a detective this kind of

<<1511>> feeling I start to look for signs and

<<1515>> they come I mean the opportunities are

<<1517>> everywhere we just have to look for them

<<1520>> and to see them and to recognize them

<<1522>> and to say yes to them actually because

<<1525>> how many

<<1526>> people are in introduced to the Tera and

<<1529>> say no no no no no until until the time

<<1532>> is right and it's fine the the the

<<1535>> journey is as I said you're never behind

<<1538>> in your journey the journey is the right

<<1540>> path for

<<1541>> you um but the opportunities are there

<<1546>> and it may be a new course it may be a

<<1549>> new Mastermind I gather with people that

<<1554>> inspire me I'm not afraid to be around

<<1558>> people who are more successful than me

<<1561>> I'm honored to be around people that are

<<1563>> more successful than me that I really

<<1566>> feel the inspiration I I don't feel like

<<1571>> inferior I only feel like I have to

<<1574>> learn so much such an abundant mindset I

<<1577>> love it yes whenever we see somebody

<<1580>> that because there are people who say ah

<<1583>> that people that person is so successful

<<1586>> but I don't like that and that and that

<<1588>> and that what if we only look for the

<<1592>> good

<<1593>> things with we only look for the things

<<1597>> that we can learn from those people that

<<1600>> are better in so many ways that they can

<<1605>> be better better organizers better

<<1608>> leaders better I don't

<<1611>> know um but if we want to make a

<<1617>> change and anywhere we have to start

<<1620>> with

<<1621>> ourself I think Einstein said right if

<<1624>> nothing changes do not expect this is

<<1627>> the definition of Madness to expect a

<<1630>> different result without changing

<<1634>> anything yeah doing the same things that

<<1637>> brought you to that result so it it's

<<1639>> very important to to shift to shift and

<<1643>> to shift quickly

<<1646>> um Gabby Bur Stein was saying that

<<1649>> whenever you are deep down on the rabbit

<<1652>> hole or in your knees with a huge

<<1657>> challenge in your back remember to look

<<1661>> up at God and remember that you are not

<<1665>> alone you are carried for there is

<<1669>> somebody who will guide you to the light

<<1673>> just have the confidence that the the

<<1677>> good things will come

<<1679>> and you see sometimes we are so much

<<1681>> disappointed that something doesn't

<<1685>> happen exactly how we want it to happen

<<1688>> but every single time if it's not this

<<1691>> it's something better for sure for us I

<<1695>> trust in this higher um

<<1701>> higher Grace from God that really

<<1706>> knows exactly

<<1709>> what what we are supposed to do this is

<<1712>> probably why I

<<1714>> surrendered my path to follow the path

<<1718>> of my heart and the path of my soul to

<<1722>> be able to help more people

<<1725>> and in a way I'm I'm sure that if I

<<1729>> stayed on my architect path as a mom

<<1733>> with a one-year-old I could not touch

<<1736>> the life or of

<<1739>> 20,000 people are only in my team but

<<1742>> probably are more that were touched in

<<1745>> in a way or the other these little

<<1748>> things maybe if you read something on

<<1750>> social media and you get inspiration and

<<1753>> a a blink of light that is

<<1756>> something that um that can change the

<<1760>> day for somebody and I that is already

<<1764>> um an achievement in a way

<<1768>> and what you said just now um triggered

<<1770>> my next question for you um which is

<<1773>> like following your path and deciding to

<<1776>> step away from your career doing DOA so

<<1779>> what sacrifices did you have to make to

<<1781>> choose the DOA life also considering

<<1784>> being being a mom and what that meant

<<1788>> for you as a woman yes this is a juicy

<<1792>> question yeah this is a really juicy

<<1795>> question and I think we as moms we have

<<1799>> to we struggle a lot with with guilt

<<1803>> actually this is

<<1805>> our probably one of the biggest

<<1808>> challenges that we have because every

<<1811>> single time that we are with our kids

<<1814>> and we are happy and we play with them

<<1817>> and we have to be have the chance to be

<<1819>> with

<<1820>> them um after a while we feel like or at

<<1825>> least I feel that I I need to use my

<<1827>> brain I need to someone I I receive a

<<1830>> message from a mother who says Ah how do

<<1833>> you do that you you look so full of

<<1836>> energy I want that too so I start

<<1838>> helping her or doing a zoom or doing a

<<1840>> presentation and every every single time

<<1844>> then I feel

<<1845>> like this is time away from my children

<<1849>> but I

<<1850>> remember a huge moment when that can

<<1854>> exemplify this kind of

<<1859>> um pendulation between the two the

<<1863>> mother

<<1865>> who does everything she does for the

<<1869>> best of her children and the

<<1873>> entrepreneur

<<1874>> [Music]

<<1875>> who who wants to have an impact and to

<<1879>> leave a trace behind and to to change

<<1882>> something in the world and um it it is

<<1885>> funny that I think last we week or um

<<1889>> there are um a couple of days that that

<<1891>> passed when I deliber deliberately

<<1895>> wanted to look at an email that I

<<1897>> remembered I I received from TOA in 2017

<<1903>> 17 or 18 I re received this email that

<<1907>> says

<<1908>> invitation to Salt Lake City to Arbor

<<1913>> vit sourcing trip and I was like Arbor V

<<1918>> oh my God and we didn't even have at

<<1921>> that point shinyoku okay but we had the

<<1924>> oil arborvita I had arvita from my first

<<1927>> month and I said oh my God sourcing trip

<<1930>> there and then I remembered that

<<1934>> actually I have a eight months baby and

<<1937>> a

<<1938>> three-year-old

<<1941>> daughter and it will be

<<1945>> interesting um Yanna marinan she is also

<<1947>> so um a presidential Diamond now in my

<<1950>> team she also won this trip on this

<<1953>> email it was written you are the fourth

<<1959>> person in Europe to receive this

<<1962>> invitation I mean there were probably I

<<1964>> don't know how many people in Europe but

<<1966>> I was the fourth one you and I was

<<1968>> another we were two yeah we were two

<<1971>> from Romania that we could go in this

<<1975>> amazing trip she also had a baby at that

<<1977>> point

<<1978>> so we were like okay what do we

<<1981>> do and I remembered talking with my

<<1985>> husband and explaining that it's really

<<1987>> important just let's take our other

<<1991>> daughter our two daughters and go there

<<1993>> it will be amazing and he was

<<1996>> like um

<<1999>> no I think I I was a silver at that

<<2003>> point and he said no I have things to do

<<2007>> I an architect I have my own projects

<<2010>> she he was also working on on a PhD at

<<2014>> that point said no we don't go there

<<2017>> then my mother mama I want to go and

<<2020>> with my parents actually I didn't want

<<2021>> to force the note very much because um

<<2025>> because of their age and it was a for me

<<2028>> also it was it was not something easy it

<<2031>> was a trip flying for so many hours is

<<2035>> it was my first transatlantic trip you

<<2038>> know so I was scary also but I was like

<<2041>> oh fascinated

<<2043>> scary

<<2044>> so my cousin you have to come with me it

<<2049>> will be amazing and she was like no so I

<<2053>> didn't find find anybody to join me

<<2056>> actually and I said okay I want to stay

<<2059>> with my baby I'm breastfeeding I won't

<<2062>> let let her down I'm I don't want to

<<2065>> create an emotional Conflict for her her

<<2068>> at this tiny age without the mother for

<<2070>> sure it was a no no so I didn't choose

<<2074>> that trip and it was something inside of

<<2076>> me that was like what if what if I went

<<2081>> there at that point and

<<2084>> um what happened that then was that in a

<<2089>> few months the founder places were open

<<2092>> this is another story that actually I

<<2094>> manifested the founder

<<2096>> places when was in Prague I was the only

<<2099>> Romanian there at the convention in 2016

<<2102>> and there were uh us Founders on the

<<2105>> stage and I said us found do ter are

<<2108>> founders in Europe I want that and there

<<2111>> were no Founders places you know so

<<2115>> actually a few years later the opened up

<<2117>> the founders places and I was like

<<2120>> yes this is not by chance for sure and

<<2125>> um in Romania in three months the

<<2127>> founder places were occupied and I got

<<2131>> one and

<<2132>> um um few people from my team also got

<<2136>> and yes we were very very happy with

<<2139>> that so what I wanted to say is actually

<<2143>> it's for the better if it's not this

<<2146>> it's something better for sure and when

<<2149>> we trust the process when we trust this

<<2153>> this

<<2154>> road um results starts to to show and

<<2159>> um for sure that I had to to just be

<<2163>> with my baby and to choose motherhood at

<<2166>> that point to be able to to accomplish

<<2169>> Diamond by theend by the end of the year

<<2172>> because this is what what happened

<<2174>> actually so life is beautiful and we

<<2177>> have to listen to our heart and to trust

<<2180>> the process and to trust God that knows

<<2183>> better for what is what is the good um

<<2186>> path for ourselves for sure so it is not

<<2189>> the mind the careers and the degrees and

<<2193>> the

<<2195>> certifications are not the most

<<2197>> important thing the most important thing

<<2200>> is actually what you can do for others

<<2203>> and how many people you are able to to

<<2207>> touch in every little way possible and

<<2211>> as David Sterling is saying success is

<<2214>> measured by the number of people of

<<2217>> lives we can impact and I totally agree

<<2220>> with

<<2221>> that still on the topic of motherhood I

<<2223>> would like to dig a little bit deeper uh

<<2226>> if that's okay how has becoming a mom of

<<2229>> one two and three daughters uh

<<2232>> influenced you um as a woman as a

<<2235>> business

<<2237>> woman I like this question also you do

<<2240>> you know why uh I like it very much

<<2244>> because every single time that I have

<<2246>> chosen mother Hood

<<2248>> actually I have unconsciously chosen

<<2255>> to

<<2257>> to make a big L lift to the big lid the

<<2262>> no uh let me find the word the big lip

<<2266>> yeah so every single time we choose

<<2271>> motherhood we

<<2273>> choose a big liap of faith in our

<<2278>> professional life because studies show

<<2282>> that mothers start to develop something

<<2285>> in their brains and probably in their

<<2288>> hearts that it's like a seed of it's

<<2292>> like the call of

<<2295>> contribution and the call of

<<2297>> contribution starts to to rise from

<<2300>> there from our heart and we start to be

<<2303>> really creative because what is

<<2305>> motherhood is the

<<2308>> the feminine energy of creation by its

<<2312>> Highest Potential

<<2315>> manifest so when we start to do the

<<2320>> little things that

<<2322>> our intuition tells us to do and to

<<2327>> implement then things will shift also in

<<2329>> the professional life and why do I say

<<2333>> that um with our first daughter

<<2337>> my biggest why was for her and I was

<<2341>> really feeling that I am responsible for

<<2345>> her choices for her future adult choices

<<2350>> this is the why

<<2352>> behind uh with our first daughter then

<<2355>> our second daughter came and DOA was

<<2359>> already in my life our third daughter

<<2362>> was not expected right I mean we had

<<2368>> old kids I was so happy that they could

<<2371>> brush their teeth go into pajamas at bed

<<2374>> time and that I had a little bit more

<<2377>> time for

<<2378>> myself but then I had the speech

<<2382>> actually at the convention in Lisbon be

<<2384>> in front of 7,000 people and probably

<<2388>> there something happened a shift

<<2390>> happened inside of me I was speaking

<<2393>> about

<<2393>> Hope and the Hope Bland and

<<2397>> the beautiful amazing motivation beside

<<2401>> the birth of this

<<2404>> Bland so I was

<<2407>> pregnant again our kids were like were

<<2411>> seven and 10 years old and we had

<<2413>> another baby and I had the opportunity

<<2417>> to be a mother again and to deliver at

<<2421>> home again and I think that if we use as

<<2425>> mothers this create feminine Force to

<<2429>> infuse to infuse it in our business also

<<2432>> and to use these beautiful oils and DOA

<<2436>> is a amazing opportunity to help to help

<<2439>> so many people and to reach so many

<<2442>> countries and continents even what would

<<2446>> have mean for for me as I said as a

<<2449>> mother as an as a entrepreneur to open

<<2453>> up franchises in so many countries if I

<<2457>> look in the back office and I see it's

<<2459>> amazing what we can do all around and if

<<2463>> people can can see this and can get

<<2467>> confident with the fact that it is the

<<2470>> most beautiful business model that ever

<<2474>> existed and the way that DOA doeses it

<<2478>> is is different actually I remember

<<2480>> speaking with Dr

<<2482>> Hill

<<2483>> [Music]

<<2485>> um I think it was 20

<<2488>> 200 also 17 or 18 the last time when he

<<2492>> was in Romania and um we

<<2496>> were under 10 people that we had the

<<2499>> chance to ask him some questions and one

<<2502>> of my questions were was why did Thea

<<2505>> choose this model and he said without

<<2509>> this model we could not impact so many

<<2514>> lives we could not fulfill our Vision to

<<2518>> put an essential oil bottle in every

<<2522>> house and for sure there are villages in

<<2526>> Romania and everywhere in the world

<<2528>> where it would not be the most PR

<<2531>> pristine essential oil it would be in a

<<2533>> luxury shop in Dubai and in the capitals

<<2538>> of um around Europe

<<2540>> right and um and it's true the waves

<<2544>> that we can create and um we should

<<2547>> remember that in in our

<<2551>> business a wave raises all the boats and

<<2555>> if we if we are there we can create this

<<2560>> kind of an impact if we are willing

<<2562>> actually if we choose to do

<<2565>> it uh of course that we could choose the

<<2570>> other way but I think it's it is one of

<<2575>> the the perfect ways it the model is not

<<2579>> perfect because of course involves

<<2581>> people that will

<<2583>> sometimes but we have the choice to

<<2586>> choose the people we work with right and

<<2589>> to choose our

<<2590>> partners well thank you Jana what you

<<2593>> said

<<2594>> about uh motherhood and what you're uh

<<2597>> leaving behind for your daughters I

<<2599>> think is inspiring it's motivational is

<<2602>> empowering and I truly hope that the

<<2605>> generation that follows can grow up with

<<2608>> that mindset of you know abundance and

<<2610>> knowing how to take care of themselves

<<2613>> as women and then to to go and spread

<<2615>> that message so that was really powerful

<<2617>> and beautiful thank you now shifting

<<2620>> gears a little bit just wanted to ask

<<2622>> you if there were if there was a moment

<<2624>> in your career where you surprised or

<<2628>> you surprised yourself about your own

<<2630>> growth or maybe you had just overcome a

<<2632>> big Challenge and and if so can you take

<<2635>> us back to that moment and uh tell us

<<2638>> that story

<<2639>> please there are seever severals and now

<<2643>> I have to think just to choose

<<2646>> one and I I wouldn't I won't choose

<<2650>> something that is far in the history I

<<2654>> will even though it may be inspiring for

<<2656>> the young leaders and the new generation

<<2659>> of leaders but I will choose one that um

<<2663>> is closer to

<<2665>> my to my real it now because yes there

<<2670>> was something that I didn't even think

<<2674>> it

<<2676>> existed and you see this is this is what

<<2680>> our brain does because we have

<<2682>> this um conscious mind that knows

<<2685>> exactly is very calculated and we know

<<2689>> what what we do and why we do it so the

<<2693>> thing is that as I said I'm a solution

<<2696>> Seeker so so the context was

<<2699>> that um in Romania we didn't have

<<2703>> um a training in Romanian so by the time

<<2709>> the business building guide was launched

<<2712>> I think three years ago I jumped all in

<<2715>> I did the course probably you can see on

<<2718>> the list I was one of the first

<<2721>> finishers or Achievers of that course

<<2724>> and I said wow this is genius so I

<<2727>> started to implement and to bring on my

<<2731>> experience my trajectory my path and to

<<2735>> put everything together I worked so hard

<<2739>> it

<<2740>> was it there were hours and hours and

<<2743>> hours of writing and writing probably it

<<2746>> would be a huge book if I publish it um

<<2751>> and at the end after about one year year

<<2756>> probably of working besides everything

<<2758>> that I was doing mentoring and working

<<2760>> with the customers

<<2762>> and being present with my family and my

<<2765>> my husband and every every other thing I

<<2768>> was working at this project because I

<<2770>> really felt it it is needed and then I

<<2774>> filmed it and then we we sent it for

<<2779>> editing and a very professional team

<<2783>> edited it we invested also couple of

<<2785>> thousand up or or more of your Ros in

<<2789>> this um editing part and then I receive

<<2792>> a phone call and the guy said you know

<<2795>> episodes from 33 to 38 are missing I

<<2800>> cannot open them from the hardware and I

<<2802>> was like what please try something do

<<2805>> something what it is not possible so he

<<2808>> tries to find a solution he SS for

<<2811>> another team and this I don't know what

<<2813>> kind of hackers or the IT people know

<<2815>> better

<<2817>> yes try to se for and they said no no

<<2820>> it's totally lost and I said no problem

<<2823>> I will do it again so I started to do

<<2826>> again I filmed these episodes that were

<<2828>> missing and we had it it was finished

<<2830>> and I was like no it's the time to

<<2833>> launch it I mean it was a time time to

<<2836>> launch it and I was freaking out I was

<<2839>> really freaking out and for some months

<<2842>> I was like ah thinking I jumped in on

<<2845>> another course how to launch you course

<<2847>> and how to do this and that and I didn't

<<2850>> trust that I knew exactly what to do

<<2852>> just launch it get

<<2854>> them so just launch it okay just launch

<<2859>> it and it seems easy but it's not that

<<2861>> easy yes so what happened that what

<<2866>> happened was that I became

<<2870>> pregnant and I called a Romanian coach

<<2873>> and I told her look I'm pregnant you

<<2876>> have to help me launch this course

<<2878>> because I have the course everything is

<<2880>> ready everything is filmed and I want to

<<2883>> deliver it before delivering my baby and

<<2887>> guess what I worked with this coach I

<<2890>> did everything besides

<<2892>> every thousand things every single of

<<2895>> the thousand things I was doing beside

<<2897>> of besides of that but the baby came and

<<2900>> the project was not launched so this is

<<2903>> my biggest

<<2904>> procrastination that I ever experienced

<<2908>> in my life and it showed me um that it

<<2912>> showed me the human nature that we can

<<2916>> be totally confident in a direction or

<<2919>> to or I think people sometimes look at

<<2923>> us and say I can't I cannot speak like

<<2927>> that I cannot be like that she's so

<<2930>> confident she looks so this and that but

<<2934>> the struggles that every single of one

<<2937>> of us have inside of ourselves are real

<<2941>> and I want to speak about that and to

<<2943>> make myself myself vul vulnerable about

<<2947>> this because it's real if it's not this

<<2950>> it's something else that is stopping you

<<2954>> and I remember that one of my biggest

<<2958>> limiting beliefs was what if I launch

<<2961>> this course and people do not finish it

<<2966>> and this this coach that I was working

<<2968>> with was like but georgana what

<<2973>> if think

<<2975>> about the books that you have in your

<<2977>> library do you think that everyone that

<<2980>> bought those books already wrote read

<<2985>> them all actually finished them right

<<2988>> and I was like no for sure and she was

<<2991>> like it is the same

<<2993>> just bring it into the world and people

<<2997>> will choose if they want to finish it

<<2999>> finish it or not I was taking the

<<3003>> responsibility of the success of others

<<3007>> and I think probably this is the biggest

<<3009>> lessons that we can lesson that we can

<<3012>> remember not to take responsibility

<<3018>> for

<<3019>> anyone success anyone's success we

<<3023>> should only do our part do our part the

<<3027>> best that we can and for sure that the

<<3030>> perfectionist in me was like ah but it's

<<3033>> too late now I mean two years pass now I

<<3037>> could film it all over again I can make

<<3039>> it better right and I was there I was on

<<3042>> the edge of doing and I said no yes at

<<3047>> some point I had this feeling my my mind

<<3050>> was like it's not good enough but wait a

<<3054>> minute are we here to be perfect or are

<<3058>> we here to just make the best that we

<<3061>> can with the resources that we have now

<<3065>> and this is one of the lessons that

<<3067>> probably I still have to learn I'm not

<<3069>> sure that the cycle is

<<3072>> complete but but it's okay and any time

<<3076>> in life we have the good and the bad and

<<3082>> this is why I like strength finder

<<3084>> because it only shows you

<<3088>> they are called all of them are called

<<3090>> strength right none of them is a bad

<<3096>> thing the truth is that exactly the same

<<3100>> capacity that was making me even think

<<3105>> of making it all over again is the right

<<3110>> mindset that brought me to presidential

<<3113>> diamond and not once through three times

<<3118>> with I changed three qualifiers to reach

<<3122>> again and again and again PR

<<3125>> presidential Diamond because things

<<3128>> happened in life of my partners and I

<<3131>> didn't want to push them I respected

<<3134>> their

<<3135>> space and I said no problem I can do

<<3138>> this over over and over and over again

<<3141>> and probably it has to to do also with

<<3144>> architecture because

<<3147>> What in in the world is built only once

<<3151>> what nothing even in nature Things Fall

<<3155>> Apart and are raised again and die and

<<3159>> they they renew and

<<3161>> reborn even cities what city is is I

<<3167>> think kja was at some point was saying

<<3170>> that cities are not built forever you

<<3173>> build a city and then things happen then

<<3175>> things has and we have to rebuild it

<<3178>> this is also with our business and if we

<<3181>> understand that is part of the is part

<<3184>> of a huge part of that 80% so something

<<3187>> that we could look at as one of my U

<<3193>> weaknesses is also one of my strengths

<<3196>> actually this

<<3199>> resilience oh it's for sure it's just

<<3201>> how you decide to use it I think yeah

<<3203>> and how we put things into perspective

<<3206>> for sure

<<3207>> now one of my uh last closing questions

<<3210>> is um did you have any role models that

<<3213>> shaped you into the person y

<<3216>> today that is an interesting question um

<<3221>> and

<<3222>> I I if I remember well even when I was a

<<3227>> child I was not the kind of a child who

<<3230>> was who had a role model in that sense I

<<3234>> mean I respect people I admire people

<<3238>> but

<<3240>> I I tend to look at my future

<<3245>> version and that is the element that

<<3249>> drives

<<3252>> me um this willingness of growing of

<<3257>> evolving of becoming becoming I have

<<3260>> becoming here

<<3261>> actually

<<3264>> um this is something that inspires me

<<3267>> and of course that I work with a lot of

<<3269>> people that I remire I admire and I

<<3272>> appreciate and as I say I'm a huge

<<3277>> believer

<<3278>> of um finding

<<3281>> Solutions and asking for

<<3284>> Solutions I think we can jumps jump um

<<3288>> Fast Track our

<<3291>> trajectory if we are conscious of our

<<3295>> weaknesses and we are willing and when

<<3297>> we are willing to overcome them and to

<<3301>> ask for help and to know where to look

<<3304>> for help where to look for

<<3307>> resources because we are

<<3310>> not resourceful we are not resourceless

<<3314>> we are resourceful we just have to find

<<3318>> those resources and look in the right

<<3321>> places and sometimes it happened to me

<<3324>> that I invested a lot I mean some people

<<3327>> maybe choose to invest in a vehicle in a

<<3331>> car that I choose to invest that amount

<<3335>> of money in the especially in the last

<<3337>> three years in personal development and

<<3341>> improving myself and it happened that I

<<3344>> did I did this kind of investment and it

<<3347>> was not exactly the

<<3350>> right the right one and it was fine I

<<3354>> never feel like

<<3357>> losing something even Investments I

<<3361>> think even though something does not

<<3364>> immediately serves

<<3366>> me I my mindset is like I supported this

<<3371>> person to run to run their own business

<<3374>> and to make their message useful for

<<3377>> Their audience even though it was not

<<3380>> the right fit for

<<3383>> me and if I find the right fit I of

<<3388>> course it's it's totally amazing and um

<<3393>> I'm very happy with

<<3395>> that speaking about perspective that it

<<3398>> is so important to never feel like

<<3401>> you're losing we are not losing at at

<<3405>> any time we are even I think Eric worry

<<3409>> says that we are either learning

<<3413>> or winning we are not you

<<3416>> losing I love that mentality that

<<3420>> mindset it's um it's truly empowering so

<<3423>> uh thank you for the nice reminder and
