<<0>> Hello everyone and welcome to Dr. AU the

<<2>> official podcast of the Europe. Today

<<4>> I'm here again with Dr. David Hill for

<<7>> another episode for our podcast. While

<<9>> we're sitting here we have the aroma

<<11>> touch kit. So I feel compelled and I

<<14>> have to ask you um can you take us down

<<18>> memory lane and tell us a bit more of

<<20>> when the aroma touch when you thought

<<22>> about creating the aroma touch?

<<24>> >> Yeah, it was a very specific it was two

<<27>> things that happened.

<<29>> Um, one was as we went out now and I'm

<<32>> starting to share about the essential

<<34>> oils and teach about the essential oils.

<<37>> We were on our way as a company. It

<<40>> meant that I was gone a lot. And

<<43>> >> when I'd come home from traveling, I'd

<<45>> be exhausted.

<<47>> >> A lot of times I'm uncomfortable because

<<49>> I've been in a middle seat on an

<<50>> airplane for days on end.

<<53>> >> And my wife always being so kind, what

<<56>> can I do to help you? Can I put oils on

<<58>> you? what do you need?

<<60>> >> And she would do that and it was always

<<62>> very helpful. But I began to think to

<<65>> myself, it seems like there should be a

<<68>> way that somebody regardless of their

<<71>> knowledge or their experience or even

<<73>> their confidence to some degree

<<76>> >> would be able to use essential oils for

<<78>> the benefit of somebody else that had

<<80>> results that were consistent

<<83>> >> regardless of their circumstance.

<<86>> >> And they could do that safely. And that

<<88>> was the beginnings of my thought

<<90>> process. I should think of a way that

<<92>> people can use the oils with great

<<95>> confidence and could have that as being

<<98>> a part of their regular family routines.

<<102>> >> And the other thing that happened is as

<<103>> I would out be talking to people, of

<<105>> course, after I was done speaking, I

<<108>> would have this opportunity to visit

<<110>> with people and they all had the same

<<111>> question. What do I do for

<<113>> >> and it's always that

<<114>> >> I always had like and that was okay. I

<<117>> felt like that was a part of why I went

<<119>> that we're all learning and I need to be

<<121>> able to extend some of my own experience

<<123>> that way.

<<124>> >> And so I would share a lot of times very

<<126>> complicated things and they would write

<<129>> it down dutifully. Okay.

<<131>> >> I was about to say you could write a

<<132>> >> and then do this and then do this and

<<134>> then do this and and they would walk

<<136>> away I know with lots of confidence. My

<<139>> suspicion became

<<141>> that they probably went home and were

<<143>> not able to accomplish everything that I

<<145>> gave them because I would just give them

<<147>> everything that I knew. Oh, and don't,

<<149>> you know, and don't forget about this

<<150>> and don't forget about this and it just

<<152>> becomes too complicated and too

<<154>> difficult at some point. Since then,

<<156>> I've learned a valuable lesson about the

<<158>> essential oils that I'll share.

<<162>> Simplicity is where the magic is. When

<<165>> we're really struggling with things,

<<166>> that is not the time to think about

<<168>> every oil under the sun and everything

<<171>> that I've ever learned. And using my own

<<173>> imagination, I'm going to use all 35 of

<<176>> these different essential oils. We

<<177>> overwhelm ourselves.

<<179>> >> And it's better to be very narrow and

<<181>> very focused and very simplistic so that

<<183>> we get not only consistency in the

<<186>> delivery, but we get consistency in the

<<188>> outcome. And that was another big

<<190>> triggering factor for me. And as those

<<193>> two things came together, those two

<<195>> thought processes

<<196>> >> in my mind, the aroma touch, which I

<<199>> didn't have a name for, the beginnings

<<201>> of that began to happen. And I would

<<203>> spend time consistently, not every once

<<207>> in a while, it on my mind consistently,

<<211>> what does it need to address? And that's

<<213>> where I came up with the systemic

<<215>> constants. This was born out of all of

<<216>> my experience as a physician. My

<<219>> patients fit into those categories. And

<<221>> so people, this is I'm talking to

<<223>> people, these are the issues they're

<<224>> dealing with. And so I divided oils into

<<227>> categories and began experimenting with

<<229>> them. And

<<230>> >> it took about a year and a half,

<<232>> >> okay,

<<232>> >> of consistent effort.

<<234>> >> But the aroma touch was born. I The very

<<238>> first aroma touch class I taught was in

<<240>> New Jersey.

<<242>> I can't remember if it was in the it was

<<246>> in 2009. I don't remember if it was the

<<248>> beginning or the end of 2009. And I was

<<251>> scared out of my mind because

<<254>> nobody had ever seen this before

<<256>> >> demonstrating this.

<<256>> >> I de I taught a I taught I was just I

<<259>> think it was 49 people there. 48 or 49

<<262>> people at this class I taught

<<265>> >> and I walked them through how to do the

<<267>> aroma touch.

<<269>> >> Um for me that that has been a

<<272>> remarkable journey because here all

<<275>> these years later it's exactly the same

<<277>> now as it was then. It works. It's

<<280>> powerful. It's effective.

<<282>> >> I have felt like that was a special

<<284>> experience to be able to develop the

<<286>> aroma touch

<<287>> >> and it's been a powerful tool for people

<<290>> now to use

<<291>> >> in their homes and people they care for.

<<295>> >> We use it all the time. And I I can't

<<298>> imagine using to me it's kind of core to

<<301>> foundational

<<303>> what I do on a regular basis to sustain

<<306>> my wellness to sustain my health

<<309>> >> and I like the delivery of it. I like

<<311>> the simplicity of it. You're not going

<<314>> to understand all the chemistry. You

<<315>> might not even understand all the

<<316>> physiology.

<<317>> >> Your body just understands it to you.

<<319>> >> But yeah, you can do the aroma touch and

<<321>> do it with great confidence. And so

<<323>> thank you for bringing that up because I

<<325>> love it. I'm going to talk a little bit

<<326>> about the aroma touch over the next

<<328>> couple of days, but

<<329>> >> my invitation to people is try it

<<333>> >> try it. It is changing

<<335>> >> and it is sustaining of the things the

<<338>> attributes that we need those underlying

<<340>> tones of what our health really is and

<<343>> that's what it addresses.

<<345>> >> That's beautiful. And can I ask you were

<<346>> these oils always meant to be or did you

<<349>> have any um any others that

<<352>> >> Well, if you'd come into my office in

<<353>> the early day, you'd seen

<<355>> stacks of papers on my desk, all the

<<357>> research. I I tend to draw on my office

<<361>> windows. That's where I do all of my

<<363>> thinking and I I like to leave it there

<<365>> because I generally can't solve

<<367>> something with just one approach and so

<<369>> I

<<370>> >> migrate through. I remember when we

<<373>> launched the uh product adaptive in my

<<377>> mind I nobody asked me to do this but I

<<379>> thought I'm going to think through how

<<382>> and why this is working and I I have a

<<385>> whole bank of windows that go down the

<<386>> length of my office and then on the

<<388>> other side of my office they come down

<<389>> the whole length on that side

<<392>> and I started in the far corner and I

<<395>> worked my way all the way down and then

<<397>> came all the way back down the other

<<399>> side. And I remember the day I was

<<401>> writing my last little note and I

<<403>> thought okay that's why it works.

<<405>> >> I it was like this beautiful mind

<<407>> moment. I thought I am crazy because

<<409>> this makes no sense.

<<411>> >> But then I in the kind I left it there

<<413>> for a little while. I could just refer

<<415>> back to it and walk through it again.

<<417>> Yeah know if that's still correct. And I

<<418>> made some micro adjustments to it. In

<<420>> the process

<<422>> I made an important discovery about

<<424>> aroma touch. There's some things about

<<427>> the aroma touch that are just

<<429>> unexplainable. I I even when I teach the

<<432>> aroma touch, I sometimes tell people,

<<435>> >> I wish I could give you the reason why.

<<437>> I I have some supposition as to maybe

<<440>> why I think that happens, but I can't

<<442>> explain all the reasons why you're going

<<444>> to experience what you're going to. It's

<<446>> a combination of touch. It's a

<<448>> combination of aroma. It's a combination

<<450>> of the chemistry of the oils. But

<<452>> through that process of working on what

<<456>> we did with adaptive, I came to this

<<458>> conclusion. I thought, "Oh my gosh, this

<<460>> is one of the missing pieces for aroma

<<463>> touch." Linking into that process of

<<466>> neurotransmitter activation,

<<468>> >> aromatic activity within the body and

<<471>> what that really means and how that

<<473>> works within multiple systems in terms

<<476>> of downstream effect and benefit. And it

<<479>> was a big aha moment. So much so I

<<481>> called up our Aroma Touch team and said,

<<482>> "I need to talk to you. You you've been

<<485>> asking me this question for a long time.

<<486>> Let me walk you through why the aroma

<<488>> touch does this." So I find these great

<<490>> parallels with the essential oils, which

<<493>> ironically is one of the things I'm

<<494>> going to get to talk about over the next

<<497>> couple of days. I'm going to talk about

<<499>> let's begin to think about the essential

<<501>> oils in a different context

<<503>> >> and hopefully it'll answer some

<<505>> questions for people about the most

<<507>> fundamental things. It's so funny to me

<<510>> that gone through all of this big

<<512>> criteria and all of this research and

<<514>> all of this study for all of these

<<515>> years, but it comes down to the most

<<518>> simplest of concepts that like I

<<522>> a year a year a year ago I was sitting

<<525>> in my office and I went

<<528>> >> really this is all I needed to know all

<<530>> these decades ago. I only needed to know

<<533>> this. So I'm excited to share you know.

<<536>> >> So no spoilers. No spoilers, but it's

<<538>> not some there are no there's big

<<541>> discoveries still to be made with

<<543>> essential oils, but in their value to

<<545>> us, it's going to come down to the

<<547>> simplest of things.

<<549>> >> And it's why I continue to remain don't

<<551>> don't worry if you don't know all of the

<<553>> chemistry.

<<554>> >> Don't feel like you have to. Don't feel

<<556>> inadequate.

<<558>> >> You'll do just fine. Just trust your

<<560>> instincts. Trust your experience. learn

<<563>> all that you can of course

<<565>> >> but don't feel like you have to know

<<566>> everything and the aroma touch fills one

<<569>> of those gaps for people as well. I

<<571>> think it must be very empowering for

<<573>> people to just be able to um and I say

<<576>> just inverted comments to give this

<<578>> experience to people. Um that is a

<<581>> beautiful way like this beautiful way to

<<584>> start sharing the oil, start using the

<<586>> oils.

<<587>> >> I think that is how most people would

<<589>> feel about the aroma touch. They have

<<591>> this unique opportunity to do something

<<594>> for somebody else that you can't do for

<<597>> yourself. You can't do this for

<<599>> yourself.

<<599>> >> No. And I I like that opportunity

<<602>> because there's there's power in helping

<<606>> somebody. There's interest lots of

<<608>> interesting research that's been done

<<610>> that talks about they took a group of

<<612>> individuals with health challenges, a

<<614>> number of different health challenges,

<<617>> >> and they gave them service

<<618>> opportunities. In some cases, they gave

<<621>> service to somebody that they knew and

<<623>> in other cases they gave service to

<<625>> somebody that they didn't know. But in

<<627>> both cases and the person by the way

<<629>> when you give service to somebody you

<<630>> don't know the effects of that were more

<<632>> profound and what the effect was it was

<<635>> an improvement on their own health and

<<638>> so a lot of the things that they were

<<639>> struggling with some of the symptoms

<<641>> symptoms that they had and you know they

<<644>> didn't solve any of their really bad

<<646>> issues but their body had an improvement

<<649>> in its own health outcomes

<<652>> >> and that was sustainable over time and

<<655>> so I like that The aroma touch it's fits

<<659>> that criteria for people that and many

<<661>> people will say I just feel better when

<<663>> I give somebody an aroma touch

<<665>> >> and even just being there and inhaling

<<668>> the oils you're still getting that

<<670>> beautiful aroma.

<<670>> >> Well, you're still you're still having

<<672>> your own oil experience but that's

<<674>> accentuated also by giving of yourself

<<678>> to somebody. Yeah.

<<679>> >> Even if it's somebody you don't know

<<681>> which I think we all have occasion for.

<<683>> >> Yeah.

<<684>> >> At times.

<<685>> >> Yeah. That's beautiful.

<<686>> >> And if it's not the full aroma touch,

<<688>> maybe it's the hand.

<<689>> >> The hand technique, of course. Yeah,

<<691>> absolutely.

<<692>> >> So, um I have a couple more questions

<<694>> for you.

<<694>> >> You've been saying that for a while now.

<<696>> I just have a couple more questions.

<<697>> >> I promise you.

<<698>> >> Okay.

<<700>> >> The first one is um how do you see the

<<703>> future of Doera? What does it look like

<<705>> for you?

<<706>> >> You know, I'm

<<708>> challenging. Mhm.

<<710>> >> I I can't think about the future of

<<712>> DoTerra without accepting the challenges

<<715>> that we're currently in and those that

<<717>> are yet ahead of us that unfortunately

<<720>> we don't know about.

<<721>> >> We always try to prepare the best way

<<723>> that we can, but we're just going to

<<725>> continue to face challenges. We're a

<<727>> multi-billion dollar company all across

<<730>> the entire world.

<<732>> We're going to continue to face

<<733>> challenges, but we're up for the task

<<735>> and we're heavily involved in those

<<737>> tasks and we're making the right

<<739>> decisions even though sometimes it's

<<742>> difficult and it's not just difficult

<<744>> for us, but it permeates throughout the

<<746>> company. So, I would ask everybody be a

<<749>> little bit patient. We're we're dealing

<<751>> with hard issues and always will. Mhm.

<<754>> >> But for me, that's kind of also the

<<757>> energy that comes from being willing to

<<760>> do hard things.

<<762>> >> We we don't sherk that responsibility.

<<765>> We don't shy away from it. Oh, this is

<<767>> too hard. Let's not do that. Let's just

<<769>> ignore it. No, we're going to take them

<<772>> on and we're going to work our way

<<773>> through them. But in spite of that,

<<776>> that's that's one little piece of what

<<778>> we have

<<780>> >> in my mind. There's no reason to think

<<783>> that we're still just beginning in

<<785>> doterra. We have a trajectory that tells

<<788>> us that that's the case. Even though we

<<790>> have obstacles that are there, we

<<794>> believe that essential oils, the amount

<<796>> of people who know about doterra, who

<<798>> know about essential oils, there's a lot

<<800>> of people who think they know essential

<<802>> oils, but they don't know what we know.

<<804>> And that provides its own opportunity.

<<808>> But I have my most energy cycles around

<<811>> this idea that

<<813>> in Doerra there's been a lot of things

<<816>> that's unexplainable.

<<819>> >> It's difficult to explain all the

<<821>> reasons why we've had the success that

<<823>> we've had. It's difficult to explain why

<<826>> people do becomes a part of them.

<<830>> >> It's a culture that they contribute to.

<<832>> It's an environment that resonates with

<<834>> them. Those are difficult things to

<<836>> explain. And that's where my my real

<<839>> energy for the future comes. All the

<<842>> challenges, other things that happened,

<<844>> we'll just continue to move through

<<846>> those. But the real value of doterra

<<849>> that what's core and central to doerra,

<<854>> there's still millions of people who

<<856>> have no idea that that exists and that

<<858>> if they did, they would want to be a

<<861>> part of that. And for me, that's where

<<863>> the excitement and energy. Look, I know

<<865>> it's hard to share essential oils with

<<868>> people, especially when they say, "Well,

<<870>> I can buy them for a tenth of the cost."

<<872>> I know you can. Of course you can.

<<875>> >> But our cost is not built into because

<<877>> we're trying to do a money grab here.

<<880>> Our cost is built into

<<882>> >> these oils really are different

<<885>> >> and we're trying to give people

<<887>> opportunity for that. And for me, that's

<<889>> where the real value of doera is. I have

<<891>> a I went through uh you know last

<<895>> convention I made a little bit of

<<897>> announcement that I'm back in doter. I

<<899>> think some people like wait a minute I

<<900>> didn't know he left. I didn't leave. You

<<903>> know you have to appreciate the fact

<<905>> that for decades I've been

<<907>> >> constant

<<908>> >> traveling non-stop 300 days away from

<<911>> your a year away from I average

<<912>> >> sounds exhausting.

<<913>> >> I averaged 280 my lowest the lowest year

<<916>> I ever had was 28685

<<920>> days. I don't know how you did that.

<<922>> >> I don't know. We don't know how we did

<<923>> it either, but I averaged right at 300

<<926>> days a year. I was gone away from my

<<928>> wife, my kids, my grandkids.

<<932>> I was at my breaking point. I needed I

<<934>> needed to go home for a little bit. And

<<936>> I did. I went home and

<<938>> >> had some time with my family, which has

<<940>> been absolutely lovely.

<<943>> I want more of that. I want more of

<<946>> that.

<<947>> But here we are and we're still working

<<951>> and I'm still in the office full-time.

<<954>> I'm doing lots of traveling to be honest

<<957>> with you if I'm being vulnerable

<<961>> >> more than I want to.

<<963>> >> I'm tired of missing grandkids birthdays

<<965>> and other things. I want to be there for

<<968>> my family.

<<970>> >> But we're struggling to find this

<<972>> balance which I'm relating this not for

<<975>> empathy. Please don't think that I'm

<<977>> relating this because I don't think my

<<979>> journey is so different than anyone else

<<981>> who commits themselves to dora because

<<984>> it's going to take some effort to go out

<<987>> and to share and to teach and to have

<<990>> that become a part of what you're doing.

<<992>> >> And so my encouragement to people is to

<<994>> find where that balance lies for you.

<<997>> >> But don't tip the scale so far that

<<1000>> Doerra doesn't have value for you in

<<1003>> what that proposition is. So yeah, I'm

<<1006>> trying to find that balance too. But

<<1009>> what an exciting future we have ahead of

<<1011>> us. I believe that 100% with every fiber

<<1014>> of my being. There was a time where I

<<1016>> thought, "Oh man, things are so

<<1018>> difficult and so hard

<<1021>> >> and where's the durability? I'm getting

<<1023>> tired and others are getting tired and

<<1025>> where's our durability?" But we have a

<<1027>> whole new energy for that now. And we

<<1030>> feel like we're moving in the right

<<1032>> directions.

<<1034>> Some people have said, "So, what's going

<<1035>> to change in doterra?"

<<1038>> >> I hope the answer to that.

<<1039>> >> I hope we get more efficient.

<<1042>> >> I hope we get better at what we're

<<1044>> trying to do, but I hope we never change

<<1047>> who we've been.

<<1049>> >> We are essential oils first and foremost

<<1052>> in everything that we do. For those who

<<1055>> are coming to convention, you're going

<<1058>> to hear that loud and clear from me.

<<1060>> This is who we are. Mhm.

<<1062>> >> We don't need to reinvent the company.

<<1065>> >> Maybe we need to refresh ourselves.

<<1067>> Maybe as individuals we need to do that.

<<1071>> >> Maybe we need to remind ourselves. I

<<1073>> have to do that on occasion that and

<<1076>> yesterday it was a great reminder for me

<<1078>> meeting those two different groups of

<<1081>> wellness advocates as they shared their

<<1083>> stories. My wife and I both as we walked

<<1085>> away said, "What a great reminder that

<<1087>> is

<<1088>> >> that we're doing something that goes

<<1089>> beyond ourselves."

<<1091>> >> And we have some commitment to that.

<<1093>> >> And it energizes us even though we have

<<1096>> all these other dynamics in our life

<<1098>> that pull and push and

<<1100>> >> we have to address and we have to deal

<<1102>> with. That's not the future of doterra.

<<1105>> The future of doterra is resolute within

<<1108>> doterra.

<<1110>> I tell my staff this sometimes that the

<<1114>> day comes when I'm going to be a very

<<1116>> fond memory. You'll miss me terribly.

<<1120>> >> Don't say that.

<<1122>> >> And then and then I'm going to be and

<<1124>> then I'm going to become a distant

<<1125>> memory

<<1127>> and then you're not going to know who I

<<1129>> am. I'll be a picture on a wall that an

<<1131>> employee stands in front of one day and

<<1132>> says, "Who's that?"

<<1134>> >> But I think what you created will live

<<1136>> on forever.

<<1137>> >> And that's the message is employee, our

<<1140>> wellness advocates that will

<<1141>> >> This is what we should all be excited

<<1143>> about in Doera is that it is going to go

<<1146>> beyond us. I I'm forever

<<1149>> >> I'm forever grateful for that. I can

<<1151>> call this a part of my legacy.

<<1154>> I I'm indebted

<<1157>> >> to do because of that. I mean, we've

<<1159>> sacrificed and we've put the work in,

<<1161>> but I'm I'm grateful for that and so is

<<1164>> my wife and my family. But I I think the

<<1168>> reality of it is is that it has to live

<<1171>> beyond us or there is no future in

<<1173>> doterra. And that's what I'm excited

<<1176>> about because I see it living and

<<1178>> breathing in our wellness advocates,

<<1180>> living and breathing in our employees,

<<1183>> living and breathing in what is cultural

<<1187>> and significant for people. It resonates

<<1190>> with them. And it sounds altruistic in a

<<1193>> way, but it really isn't if you

<<1195>> experience that.

<<1197>> >> And that will be your experience if

<<1200>> you'll let that happen. Just go all in

<<1202>> on Doerra and then you become a fond

<<1207>> memory

<<1208>> >> and a distant one

<<1210>> >> and then not even known but what you

<<1214>> have done what you have what you have

<<1216>> contributed to lives on through somebody

<<1219>> else that how can you not be excited

<<1221>> about that future

<<1223>> >> that's what we work for that's what we

<<1225>> really believe

<<1226>> >> I love that

<<1227>> >> and and if that makes me a dreamer then

<<1229>> I'm happy to be one

<<1230>> >> oh Yeah, 100%. I'm with you.

<<1233>> >> Because otherwise it's somewhat

<<1235>> meaningless.

<<1236>> >> Yeah.

<<1237>> >> If it's not something that can go beyond

<<1239>> you, then it's somewhat meaningless and

<<1242>> self-s serving.

<<1243>> >> No, let us be dreamers.

<<1244>> >> Let's be dreamers.

<<1245>> >> Yeah, absolutely.

<<1246>> >> I agree.

<<1248>> >> Very last question. This is a little bit

<<1250>> of a closing tradition. Okay.

<<1251>> >> Okay. I cannot leave this table without

<<1254>> asking you. What are the top three kind

<<1257>> of like desert island oils that you

<<1260>> would take with you?

<<1261>> >> Cannot live without.

<<1262>> >> Yes.

<<1263>> >> It's going to surprise people.

<<1265>> >> Okay.

<<1266>> >> One won't surprise you at all.

<<1268>> Frankincense. I was expecting

<<1270>> >> Sorry. Frankincense is just the core of

<<1272>> everything. I've been doing a lot of uh

<<1276>> studying and noodling on frankincense

<<1279>> and I often say it's broadsp spectrum in

<<1282>> its activity and there's lots of reasons

<<1284>> why that is and so frankincense.

<<1287>> >> Okay.

<<1288>> >> Um the other one is turmeric.

<<1291>> >> Okay,

<<1292>> >> which I wait a minute. Why turmeric?

<<1294>> >> Essential oils or capsules?

<<1297>> >> Well, if you would let me have the

<<1298>> capsules, I'd take the capsules. I love

<<1301>> the essential oil, but I like that we've

<<1303>> done something so unique here.

<<1305>> >> Yeah.

<<1306>> >> Where we because you know the botanical

<<1309>> itself, turmeric,

<<1312>> >> it has more than just the essential oil

<<1314>> and the other components of that, the

<<1316>> curcumoids themselves

<<1319>> are not not really that readily

<<1322>> accessible in the body. They're not

<<1324>> bioavailable. And by combining that back

<<1327>> with the essential oil and giving you

<<1328>> this unique delivery,

<<1331>> we've increased that more than sevenfold

<<1334>> of the bioavailability of the curcumoids

<<1336>> that are found within that.

<<1339>> So you get the benefit of the oils and

<<1341>> the tumors which actually I'll talk a

<<1343>> little bit about in over the next couple

<<1345>> of days but but you also get the value

<<1349>> of all of the botanical and for me

<<1352>> that's a that's a mainstay for the

<<1354>> challenges that I have in my life that's

<<1357>> a mainstay

<<1358>> >> that's an everyday product.

<<1360>> >> Yeah.

<<1361>> >> The other product that's an everyday

<<1363>> product for me which is a do not miss is

<<1367>> Copaiba.

<<1368>> I it's got some uniqueness associated

<<1371>> with it. The beta carara offline has

<<1374>> some real value and how it interacts

<<1376>> with the body and that you know it's

<<1378>> like I'm approaching the same kind of

<<1380>> challenges that I have through different

<<1382>> pathways in the body.

<<1384>> >> And so you might think well copaiba and

<<1387>> turmeric are somewhat the same doubling

<<1390>> up.

<<1390>> >> Yeah, you're really not. You're you

<<1392>> really aren't. There's other things that

<<1393>> it does for you. And so for me, I found

<<1396>> this combination of those three things

<<1399>> >> being extremely powerful. Now I I mean I

<<1402>> use a lot of essential oils.

<<1404>> >> I I really do. And because it's just

<<1407>> such a part of my normal routine. If you

<<1409>> come to my office, they're going to be

<<1411>> diffused. If you come by my home,

<<1413>> they're going to be diffused. Don't rub

<<1415>> your head like you have a headache

<<1417>> because we're going to solve that

<<1418>> problem for you. I mean, we're gonna go

<<1420>> through this. I have these more targeted

<<1422>> solutions. I have these consistent needs

<<1425>> that I have that arise throughout the

<<1427>> day. My days are generally pretty

<<1430>> stressful

<<1431>> >> and so I use a lot of oils to help keep

<<1434>> myself calm, keep clarity as I move

<<1436>> through my day and deal with some of the

<<1438>> things that we work through on a regular

<<1440>> basis. So I have all kinds of oils if

<<1444>> >> but I can I give you a different message

<<1446>> here which is going to catch people off

<<1448>> guard.

<<1450>> I'm always so careful when I say this

<<1452>> and I wonder whether or not I even

<<1454>> should sometimes.

<<1455>> >> Go ahead.

<<1458>> >> When we started the company, we we

<<1460>> launched

<<1462>> >> tan oils

<<1463>> >> that we had found and that we some that

<<1466>> we had formulated into blends.

<<1471>> Do you know that I could do everything I

<<1473>> need to do with

<<1475>> >> those 10?

<<1476>> >> Pretty much.

<<1476>> >> Only those 10?

<<1477>> >> Pretty much.

<<1478>> >> Oh wow. Now, the thing that that always

<<1481>> catches people off guard with is that,

<<1483>> well, but I really like Adaptive or I

<<1486>> really like Serenity or

<<1489>> Citrus Bliss is my favorite. I mean,

<<1491>> what what do you mean? They're not I'm

<<1493>> not saying they're not valuable.

<<1495>> I I we have a lot of oils

<<1499>> because we have people have a lot of

<<1501>> preference

<<1502>> >> and so we don't have a citrus oil. We've

<<1505>> got a lot of citrus oils, maybe too

<<1508>> much.

<<1509>> >> But I I think in our own usage, we have

<<1512>> to really find what works best for us.

<<1515>> >> And it's okay if that represents eight

<<1518>> or 10 oils for you.

<<1520>> >> Maybe it's a little bit more because of

<<1521>> your family dynamic. And

<<1523>> >> gosh, when I take in my spouse and all

<<1525>> my kids and all my grandkids, yeah, I

<<1527>> need like 40, 50 oils.

<<1530>> >> But don't feel bad about these are my

<<1533>> go-to oils. These are the oils that I

<<1535>> use consistently. We have a large array

<<1538>> of essential oils sometimes to meet

<<1541>> dynamics with our health. This is very

<<1543>> specific for this.

<<1545>> >> Digest Zen for example or Zen.

<<1548>> >> I say that and it it means you know

<<1551>> exactly what that means.

<<1553>> >> And we have different oils that fit into

<<1556>> that. But then we have a lot of other

<<1558>> oils that just represent personal

<<1559>> preference. So find where that

<<1562>> preference is. Okay,

<<1563>> >> for me, those are the three that I just

<<1565>> can't I just can't go without. Yeah, it

<<1568>> catches people off guard, but

<<1570>> >> there's lots of others that I use every

<<1572>> single day. Citrus oil, I I don't know

<<1574>> how you can just limit me to three

<<1575>> because you've got to have you've got to

<<1577>> have a citrus oil daily. You really do.

<<1580>> There is some daily use models that you

<<1582>> just have to pay attention to because

<<1585>> they're building this foundational

<<1586>> aspect of what your body needs. And

<<1589>> we'll learn more about that in the

<<1591>> coming

<<1592>> >> I'm excited

<<1592>> >> days and months. We'll learn more about

<<1594>> that.

<<1595>> >> That's brilliant.

<<1595>> >> Can I just say a couple more things

<<1597>> before

<<1598>> >> Okay. Yes.

<<1599>> >> I I I just want to tell everybody thank

<<1602>> you and not just on my own behalf on

<<1605>> behalf of myself and my partners, all of

<<1609>> us here at Doerra. I also have to

<<1612>> mention our families, not just my

<<1614>> family, but it takes a lot of effort for

<<1617>> people to be fully engaged in DoTerra

<<1620>> and everything that needs to happen. And

<<1622>> we want you to know how appreciative we

<<1623>> are. We are of all of your efforts

<<1625>> because we know it's not easy, but also

<<1629>> we're very excited about where we're

<<1630>> headed to and where our future will take

<<1632>> us. So, thank you to all of you.

<<1635>> >> Yeah. Thank you again. It's been such a

<<1637>> pleasure. I feel very very lucky to uh

<<1640>> have been able to have this conversation

<<1641>> with you.

<<1642>> >> Well, thank you. Thank you for letting

<<1643>> me join you today.

<<1644>> >> Absolutely.

<<1645>> >> Hope to see you all soon.

<<1646>> >> See you guys soon.
