<<0>> Hello my dear friends, my name is Emily

<<2>> Mascarenas, and I am happy to be here today

<<4>> with you to talk about the Legacy

<<6>> Trip and how you can

<<9>> maintain your Silver or Gold rank

<<10>> to have the opportunity

<<13>> to win this incredible trip

<<15>> and be a part of it, and I

<<17>> must say that everyone's path

<<20>> looks different, and your path is the

<<24>> perfect path for you, so

<<26>> please do not compare your path with

<<28>> that of someone else. Some are faster,

<<30>> some are slower. The most important thing is that

<<34>> you keep going. Anyone can do it.

<<36>> So, we actually reached the Silver rank

<<39>> after six months of working in

<<42>> our doTERRA business, and we

<<44>> have stable legs.

<<49>> What I want to tell you is why

<<52>> I believe we achieved these ranks solidly.

<<54>> I think it was mainly because

<<57>> we found

<<60>> people who joined

<<63>> us,

<<66>> and that is because we shared this opportunity.

<<69>>

<<81>> They grow. We were able to grow these seedlings.

<<85>> Yes, again, it is actually about

<<87>> creating a connection. We

<<90>> made sure that we stayed in touch

<<91>> with our team,

<<93>> with the people who said

<<95>> they wanted to be our partners.

<<99>> We sat down with them and

<<102>> built friendships.

<<105>> At the same time, we stayed in contact

<<107>> with our upline because they have more

<<109>> experience,

<<113>> to get help. Their knowledge and

<<116>> their advice ensured

<<118>> that we actively helped our team

<<122>> by teaching classes and encouraging them

<<125>> to get started themselves. I was

<<128>> regularly there as a mentor and

<<130>> helped to further build these relationships and

<<132>> friendships that we

<<134>> could establish by keeping in daily contact with them

<<137>> and being there for them.

<<139>> Encourage them to also want to find their own team

<<142>> and build their doTERRA business

<<145>> and do the same as us, and

<<149>> that helped them move forward.

<<151>> We did not overwhelm them. I

<<154>> believe it is good to take leadership yourself,

<<156>>

<<156>> but if you lean out of the window too quickly,

<<159>> you will lack the

<<162>> necessary tools, equipment, and

<<167>> experience to support your team's growth.

<<170>>

<<170>> So do not try to do everything too quickly

<<172>> on your own. Work with your upline,

<<175>> because they have already been there.

<<177>> [Music]

<<182>> So we worked very closely with our

<<184>> upline until we became Diamond.

<<187>> But I must say that I still

<<189>> work closely with them, and they

<<190>> support us, and we support

<<193>> them as well. Okay, next you have to

<<197>> ask yourself: is there energy in

<<199>> my legs? We must have the goal of having strong legs

<<203>> for our

<<205>> doTERRA volume, and if no

<<208>> momentum comes in, it will be difficult to maintain

<<210>> your rank and commission. And

<<213>> if there is no momentum, it is

<<217>> important to help or backfill. We must

<<219>> remember that we need people

<<226>> in every single leg.

<<232>> You can achieve Silver alone if you

<<236>> work hard, but it is very

<<238>> difficult to maintain it alone. So,

<<241>> ideally,

<<251>> they also share the oils and the

<<254>> opportunity, so not everything falls on

<<256>> you. They always say

<<260>> that you should find people who do this

<<262>> business with you, who also grow with

<<265>> their business, so you also grow

<<269>> and do not stagnate.

<<273>> Try not to waste volume.

<<276>> That is not always easy.

<<279>> Ideally, we get the volume in

<<281>> the right position and in the

<<284>> right leg so that we can continue to grow

<<285>> and reach the next ranks. Ideally,

<<289>> 3,000, 3,000, and 3,000 in three legs so

<<295>> we have a total volume of 9,000

<<297>> to reach

<<301>> three Premiers

<<303>> and reach Silver. But sometimes we have

<<308>> extra volume or someone is in the

<<309>> wrong place, and that can affect our rank.

<<312>> Try to have your volume in

<<315>> the right place.

<<316>> That is not always easy either. But

<<319>> one piece of advice I remember

<<321>> that really hit home for me when

<<323>> I was at the

<<324>> Leadership Convention a few years ago: remember, you

<<327>> can only do your best with the

<<330>> information you have at the time.

<<332>> Hindsight is wonderful, but

<<334>> we don't always know what will happen, and

<<337>> we don't always know how someone in

<<339>> our team will develop. So

<<341>> we can only do our best at any given

<<343>> time.

<<344>>

<<349>> Please do not blame your upline. That

<<352>> is all part of learning

<<354>> and part of the journey. So, what if

<<358>> your legs simply do not want to grow?

<<360>> Maybe you have people in positions that

<<363>> are not ideal for them. Then you have

<<366>> a few options. If there is no momentum

<<368>> or volume,

<<372>> you can bring momentum into it

<<376>> by enrolling people yourself so that you have

<<379>> control over the volume. And another

<<383>> option is to

<<386>> qualify through someone

<<388>> further down in the structure—a person

<<391>> for whom you are the

<<394>> enroller. You can then work with that

<<397>> person, and

<<399>> maybe at some point in the future, they

<<401>> could qualify you.

<<404>> You can also ask your upline for help,

<<406>> or because they might have

<<409>> experience and can

<<411>> advise you. We would also suggest

<<413>> talking to your upline or an

<<416>> Account Manager and learning from them

<<418>>

<<427>> about the options available to you. It

<<431>> is not always easy

<<433>> to shift volume,

<<438>> so it is really necessary to try to

<<440>> understand

<<441>> what is allowed and how to get things

<<446>> in the right place. However,

<<449>> sometimes the best

<<451>> decision is simply to build a completely new leg

<<453>> if a leg really is not moving forward

<<456>> and you reach a point where you feel

<<458>> you should start from scratch.

<<461>>

<<463>> Maybe you have a builder who

<<466>> is really active and motivated, and it feels

<<468>> like the right

<<470>> decision to put this person in a

<<472>> brand-new, fresh position, as

<<476>> opposed to starting in an already existing

<<478>> position. Then you could start

<<480>> a completely new leg,

<<482>> and that can be amazing with a

<<485>> builder at the top who is really

<<487>> determined and full of energy.

<<490>> Sometimes it overtakes an existing leg very

<<492>> quickly. Of course, it depends on

<<495>> the situation; every scenario

<<498>> is different. That is why I really

<<499>> suggest talking to your upline

<<501>> or with people to weigh

<<504>> the options and create a plan.

<<506>>

<<507>> It is really important to know your

<<510>> volume.

<<514>> Tim has always been good at monitoring our

<<516>> volume, because we need to know

<<519>> what we already have in order to

<<522>> know what we need to reach

<<527>> in our organization, to know

<<530>> how far away we are from reaching

<<533>> the next rank. Maybe

<<535>> we are a bit behind, or

<<537>> maybe we are doing really well

<<539>> this month. But if

<<542>> you do not check your account and your volume every

<<544>> day, how will you know

<<547>> what to work on? But if you regularly

<<548>> check your account, you get

<<552>> an understanding of your

<<553>> average volume in your

<<556>> business. Tim once did an

<<559>> average calculation of the volume

<<561>> that came in daily

<<563>> so that he knows when things are going well,

<<567>> if we are on the right track, or

<<570>> so that he knows when it is a bit

<<572>> lower.

<<574>> And that allows us to react

<<579>> before the month ends. You should also

<<582>> encourage your team to

<<584>> monitor their volume. They cannot just

<<586>> rely on you to do it; they

<<589>> must understand that they need to keep track

<<590>> so they can plan ahead.

<<593>> That is really an important point.

<<596>> It stands for inviting, presenting, and

<<600>> enrolling.

<<605>> If someone in your business is not

<<607>> moving forward, then it is not their fault,

<<609>> but yours. If you

<<612>> have this attitude and take this

<<614>> responsibility,

<<617>> you set an example for the rest

<<620>> of your team. And not only that, when you

<<623>> bring new momentum into your organization,

<<625>> it lifts everyone up. Be

<<628>> aware—and this includes everyone, myself included—

<<631>> it will not always be easy.

<<633>> It is not supposed to be.

<<636>> Be aware that there are hurdles in the

<<638>> way. Challenges happen

<<641>> for you and not against you. Again,

<<645>> if you feel down

<<647>> because of a hurdle, be aware

<<650>> that it is all part of the test you

<<653>> need for your growth and

<<655>> your journey. I want to invite you

<<658>> to enjoy your own journey.

<<662>> There is an invitation to this

<<664>> wonderful opportunity where we

<<667>> can change our own lives and

<<669>> at the same time help other people. We

<<672>> can rewrite our own story.

<<674>>

<<675>> That is exactly what this journey is about.

<<677>> So good luck with reaching

<<680>> Silver, reaching Gold, and getting

<<682>> the chance. Hopefully, we will see each other

<<685>> soon on one of these trips!
