<<5>> - Back in the middle of July,

<<6>> when we heard about the torrential rains causing

<<9>> what can be called the flood of the century

<<11>> for a number of communities in Germany,

<<14>> in Belgium and the Netherlands,

<<16>> we were devastated.

<<17>> As a dōTERRA Europe team,

<<19>> we knew that we wanted to take action

<<21>> to help those affected.

<<23>> We reached out to our Leaders,

<<24>> and the response was simply overwhelming.

<<27>> It once again revealed, what is unique

<<30>> about our culture of caring at dōTERRA.

<<34>> - When I saw the pictures from the flood for the first time,

<<36>> I was shocked, I was frozen.

<<38>> - I didn't actually realize the impact

<<41>> or the urgency that was really through the flood,

<<44>> how many people are affected.

<<47>> - I particularly remember that one email I received;

<<51>> it was from a Wellness Advocate in Belgium,

<<54>> a lady that had lost everything.

<<57>> I've seen the pictures of her destroyed house,

<<59>> and the last picture she sent us

<<62>> was the picture of her son lying in a little basket,

<<66>> and underneath it said:

<<68>> "At least I was able to

<<71>> save the most important thing in my life that I have,

<<75>> which is my son."

<<79>> - We had the idea to combine the wonderful oils,

<<84>> the AromaTouch Hand Technique and dōTERRA Healing Hands,

<<89>> and to bring everything together.

<<91>> - I think it was also important to show my team

<<94>> that we can do something.

<<95>> dōTERRA showed us instantly, within hours

<<99>> or a day, that we can help.

<<101>> - And luckily, we were able to find small NGOs

<<105>> that were helping on the ground in Belgium,

<<107>> in the Netherlands and in Germany.

<<109>> So 100% of the funds really went there

<<112>> where we needed them.

<<114>> - When I found out that dōTERRA is looking for small NGOs

<<117>> to support, I was thinking about an NGO that I know already.

<<120>> He told me and said: "Actually, we have rented

<<122>> two big halls;

<<124>> we are people from all over Germany

<<125>> -it was 400 to 600 people a day-

<<128>> and then we transport them to the places where they help,

<<131>> and we give them equipment and so on and so on.

<<133>> - Something additionally we did,

<<135>> were our little parcels with "Drop of Hope"

<<138>> that we could send to people with an oil,

<<141>> or some other things that they would put to good use

<<143>> so that they could feel that we, as the dōTERRA family,

<<147>> aren't letting them down.

<<148>> We know about their hardship

<<150>> and we're supporting them directly.

<<152>> - There should be this heart of dōTERRA

<<154>> and that's the love for people in the center of that.

<<157>> So I was very grateful that we had that opportunity

<<161>> through dōTERRA and Helping Touch in Germany.

<<164>> - I want to thank all of you who purchased

<<166>> the Rose oil Hand Lotion before July of this year.

<<170>> Because of your purchases we had 60,000 euros

<<173>> ready to donate without having to wait

<<175>> for a fundraiser first.

<<177>> In other words:

<<179>> You contributed directly to those flood aid donations.

<<183>> Thanks to all of you who donated money to Helping Touch!

<<186>> In less than just two weeks, 18,000 euros were raised.

<<191>> And with dōTERRA Europe matching that amount,

<<193>> it became a total of 36,000 euros,

<<197>> which goes a long way in the continued support

<<200>> of the flood relief efforts.

<<202>> THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

<<204>> YOU ARE AMAZING
