<<0>> Marie Kim is a force of nature the first

<<3>> time we chatted I could feel her energy

<<5>> pulsing through the phone she's the

<<7>> termine spontaneous and Incredibly Brave

<<11>> it was through hardship and Relentless

<<12>> work that his mother of five has reached

<<15>> double presidential diamond and today we

<<17>> have the privilege of listening and

<<18>> learning from her this episode is also

<<21>> available in French thank you for

<<23>> joining us this is the Tera

<<28>> year hi

<<30>> thank you for joining us thank you for

<<32>> having me thank you for the invitation I

<<35>> would like to start by diving into one

<<38>> of the things that makes you such a

<<40>> successful leader how you interact with

<<42>> people so how do you spot talent and

<<46>> develop it well that's a very uh long

<<49>> question that I could uh develop you

<<52>> know for a long time but it I think it

<<54>> also has to do with my my personal story

<<57>> and my personal way of you know handling

<<59>> not handling but how how I relate with

<<61>> people and how I connect with people um

<<65>> so to spot Talent would I don't know if

<<68>> that's my clue or that's my my talent I

<<73>> don't think I have it I don't think I

<<74>> spot talent I spot a need in someone uh

<<78>> one I think one of my uh key um skills

<<84>> is to listen and to ask questions you

<<86>> know and I I as soon as I spot you know

<<91>> or as you mentioned spotting you know

<<93>> would be would be the word but um as

<<95>> soon as I see that there's a need hidden

<<99>> in some phrases you know that the person

<<101>> would say oh I wish I was there I wish I

<<103>> could do that I wish I could da and I'm

<<105>> like well I have something for you you

<<107>> know and I just go with what they

<<110>> actually need I don't always go with oh

<<113>> yeah you can be presidential diamond and

<<116>> I don't you know bring the big Vision

<<117>> there I rarely talk about what I like my

<<120>> rank I actually never mention it uh

<<123>> except when they asked hey where are you

<<125>> you know when I present a Compensation

<<126>> Plan and stuff I'll just say I'm

<<128>> presidential then you know I never I'm

<<130>> never going to mention double or

<<132>> whatever because I don't think it's

<<133>> relevant but I would bring the person to

<<137>> where I think they need to go first so I

<<141>> don't overwhelm them um so it's not

<<145>> talent that I spot it's more a need and

<<149>> then how do I de ph up I think I really

<<151>> go Hand by hand with with them uh

<<155>> although I do have a platform you know

<<157>> with all the basics and uh what to do

<<160>> first second I mean I did not reinvent

<<162>> the wheel I think that the people before

<<165>> me were brilliant and I just copy paste

<<168>> you know everything and that's what I

<<170>> tell my team as well the more you keep

<<172>> it simple the the better it is but I do

<<175>> have to say that if I have a person I'll

<<177>> go with the need that they have so I

<<179>> will will

<<180>> personalize the

<<183>> uh you know the the way that

<<186>> I the way that I that I that I that I

<<189>> take care of them you know D during the

<<191>> during the the way during the road to to

<<194>> Inda but also uh depending of their

<<197>> strength you know and sorry about that

<<201>> about their strength and their

<<204>> past jobs you know or their career cuz

<<208>> if somebody never had a Sal experience

<<210>> in their life or they've been employee

<<212>> or their life I know where I'll have to

<<215>> bring them cuz it's all about mindset

<<219>> and

<<219>> discipline and so you know I mean as I

<<222>> said I could I could talk about you know

<<224>> a lot about this question but if

<<226>> somebody if I bring somebody to the

<<228>> business and that person was Employee

<<229>> all their life I'll have to teach them

<<232>> about being self you know self-employed

<<235>> about what does an entrepreneur do to

<<238>> keep the motivation so I will know

<<240>> already the weaknesses of the person you

<<243>> know not to put everything everybody in

<<244>> the same thing you know uh and if

<<247>> somebody had lots of trials in their

<<249>> lives then I'll know that they're

<<252>> resilient I'll know that they know hard

<<255>> and I love to work with people that know

<<257>> hard because we

<<258>> relate and it's going to be easier for

<<261>> me uh because I know they they'll not

<<263>> give up after three months you know and

<<266>> I know that the vocabulary that I will

<<268>> use they will understand so I really

<<270>> adapt to what they need um I think one

<<274>> of my strengths is to listen but also to

<<277>> choose the right words that the person

<<279>> is able to receive at that moment and

<<282>> then I will develop I think I would have

<<284>> been a good politician this is this is

<<287>> what everybody says you're such a good

<<289>> politician I'm like yeah I know the

<<290>> words I'm good with words mov you you

<<292>> mentioned something quite interesting

<<294>> which is this listening skill because I

<<296>> feel like we are in the world where so

<<299>> many people talk talk talk but listening

<<301>> is such an important part is this

<<303>> something that you

<<305>> also um try to develop in your leaders

<<309>> this listening skill absolutely

<<312>> absolutely

<<314>> and and those who need to listen to that

<<316>> don't

<<317>> listen so you know uh I think um DOA

<<322>> brings the best of the people and it

<<327>> does develop great um great skills you

<<330>> know and

<<332>> great

<<333>> um I I mean you need to become humble

<<337>> when you do DOA because there there's

<<339>> going to be so much layers of you that

<<342>> you're going to get out take out and

<<344>> you're going to get to know yourself so

<<346>> much as

<<347>> well uh that yes you know that the

<<350>> listening skill is is the most important

<<353>> one and sometimes I Mentor people and

<<355>> they just talk about themselves for half

<<356>> hour and I'm like hey dude you just

<<358>> spend half hour I don't don't tell them

<<361>> but that's what I think like you have me

<<363>> for 30 minutes and the only thing you

<<365>> said was whining and repeating and not

<<367>> you know asking me for you know advice

<<369>> or questions and when you should be uh

<<373>> listening so sometimes I would say okay

<<374>> next time bring me some questions uh so

<<378>> maybe I can bring you something because

<<379>> during the H last half hour I did I I

<<381>> don't feel that I've brought you

<<383>> anything and I cannot do a mentoring if

<<386>> I don't feel that I brought somebody

<<388>> somewhere else it's like you know the

<<389>> personal coaches I have I have two

<<391>> personal coaches and every time at the

<<393>> end of a session I mean I pay for them

<<396>> and they want me to have results so at

<<398>> the end of every session they would say

<<400>> okay what was the best thing that you

<<402>> keep from this coaching and what do you

<<405>> um like what do you commit for you know

<<408>> until next session but if you don't have

<<410>> listening

<<411>> skills as a as a as a leader or as

<<414>> someone who wants to be a leader in

<<415>> dotera it's not going to be possible for

<<417>> you to succeed I don't I I think this is

<<419>> one of the most most important skill um

<<422>> because listening goes with

<<426>> serving and goes with I care about

<<430>> you more than I care about me and when

<<434>> you do the switch and I always talk

<<436>> about the gold rank in dotera which is

<<439>> when you have three premieres and you

<<441>> can you know I mean depending of the the

<<444>> the place of the world you're living but

<<446>> gold in Canada for example or in France

<<449>> um

<<450>> in lots of countries as well it's enough

<<452>> you know to pay your bills you know it's

<<454>> it's it's it's great money uh and I

<<457>> always talk about that rank as being the

<<458>> gold rank basically the the real gold

<<461>> rank is the is gold why because you can

<<464>> now as long as you switch from I want to

<<468>> get

<<469>> there like from me to us or into you

<<473>> team because I want you to get there so

<<475>> when you do the switch at Gold then you

<<477>> can reach Diamond but if you stay stuck

<<479>> at what I need what I need and I will

<<481>> bring people to help me reach my goals

<<483>> and if you keep like that you're never

<<486>> going to be able to go

<<488>> beyond and it's St statistically I think

<<493>> I'm

<<494>> right I I I think I got it right for

<<496>> this for this part so listening is the

<<498>> most important skill ever ever because

<<501>> it goes with love caring service and it

<<503>> goes with rank advancement as well yeah

<<506>> I think it's so true I I don't also have

<<508>> the statistics on this but from all the

<<511>> like the top leaders I know that's uh

<<513>> that's like definitely the the way of

<<515>> getting there and um yeah I I know this

<<518>> is a podcast so people cannot see you

<<520>> but I think it comes in your voice like

<<522>> your passion and

<<524>> energy uh that you have for it I mean we

<<528>> call it a business but then it's really

<<529>> about that serving uh and that love but

<<533>> how do you instill this sort of passion

<<535>> and energy in your teams how do I how do

<<538>> I develop it or how do I Infuse it well

<<542>> you can hear from my voice because

<<543>> you're not I mean I'm a very um

<<546>> energetic person uh I smile a lot and

<<551>> I'm just happy you know I'm a happy

<<553>> person I'm positive um I'm a solutionist

<<556>> as well um this also has a very dark

<<560>> side which is I can't hear any complaint

<<563>> without the solution so when people come

<<566>> to me they know they know that I won't

<<568>> be saying oh I'm so Sor I I mean I'll

<<571>> say I'm so sorry but then I'll say okay

<<573>> then what I I'll always say okay now

<<576>> what what's your three solutions bring

<<578>> me Solutions okay it's okay there you

<<580>> know I'm not going to use the the the

<<582>> expression I use uh on this podcast but

<<586>> yes things can go wrong and and that's

<<589>> just life let's move on um so anyways as

<<593>> you can hear my energy that's me all the

<<595>> time that's me as a friend that's me as

<<597>> a wife that's me as as a mother that's

<<598>> me as a as a leader as well although I

<<601>> can also be a

<<603>> very uh emotional person I do cry a lot

<<606>> and I'm myself if I'm not feeling well

<<608>> well I'm not feeling well and this is

<<610>> what you get you know I don't have a

<<611>> filter in my social media I don't have a

<<613>> filter in my life so um I think that

<<616>> trying to be authentic authentic to my

<<620>> to my team is what they love about me

<<623>> and to be very uh reachable as well um

<<628>> because I I don't forget about where I

<<630>> came from you know and I don't think

<<632>> that the rank defines the quality of the

<<634>> person that you are the rank defines

<<638>> your

<<639>> paycheck you're not a better person

<<641>> because you reach you've reached double

<<643>> presidential you're not more

<<646>> important you know and your life is not

<<648>> more important uh and I think that um

<<651>> you cannot forget that but sometimes you

<<653>> know it it can get into your head it

<<655>> could

<<657>> um but for the for the energy and for

<<660>> the positivity I

<<662>> think there's um I I don't think I have

<<665>> like a cultural culture as some some of

<<668>> my teams have you know their their

<<670>> culture line and they have their theme

<<672>> and they really respect it I did not do

<<674>> that I think the growth has been so fast

<<677>> that I fell into the leadership role and

<<680>> you know empowerment very fast as well

<<684>> uh so I don't think i' I've ever had

<<687>> that but I do bring personal growth on a

<<691>> big level and personal growth including

<<695>> self-reflection that would be my my

<<697>> key

<<699>> positivity uh is one of my top top five

<<702>> I don't know if you guys know about

<<703>> Gallup uh strength test but that's you

<<706>> know one of my top um top skill not

<<711>> skills but strength and

<<713>> um yeah so I I just try to bring you

<<716>> know the best of of every person I don't

<<718>> know how how I can explain that but but

<<720>> during events for example I would you

<<722>> know bring the fire up I would I would I

<<725>> I consider myself as a funny person you

<<727>> know so I don't because I don't take

<<729>> myself seriously I invite people to just

<<731>> be themselves as well and we laugh about

<<734>> ourselves you know if I do something bad

<<736>> then I'll say hey I beeped it up you

<<741>> know and it's okay so I don't know I I I

<<744>> don't know if I have a right answer to

<<746>> to your question I'm sorry about that

<<748>> one no that's okay but you you already

<<750>> said this twice and I think it's

<<752>> interesting to to get there because you

<<754>> mentioned you have your your personal

<<757>> coaches and you have mentioned a lot

<<760>> about self growth and self-development

<<763>> that takes a lot of vulnerability and

<<764>> courage to get to get to that place and

<<768>> how um how did you go on that Journey

<<772>> yourself um how did you feel like okay

<<777>> this is the way I need to go

<<780>> um and I need to put myself through this

<<782>> in order to

<<785>> grow uh so I think um one thing I didn't

<<788>> know about network marketing is that

<<790>> this is a personal growth

<<792>> journey and in one of my YouTube videos

<<795>> in French sorry but in French I talk

<<798>> about the 10 Things I wish I knew before

<<800>> you know joining an MLM the good thing

<<803>> is I started my personal growth quote

<<806>> unquote Journey since I was 14 years old

<<808>> I had you know personal mentors uh my

<<811>> aunt was a personal mentor to me in the

<<814>> spiritual uh way and I started to be

<<816>> very philosophical at 18 I was reading

<<819>> book about psychology and and you know

<<822>> FR and Niche and I just wanted to be an

<<826>> intellectual that's what I wanted um but

<<830>> I also started to work very young uh at

<<832>> 14 years old I was at McDonald's in

<<834>> Quebec and and I learned I learned so

<<838>> much there and then I just you know I I

<<841>> worked uh and I think the the

<<844>> experiences of work and of relationships

<<846>> through work make you grow I think my

<<850>> personal interest is

<<852>> to

<<854>> um to grow as a person uh when I was 20

<<859>> years old I think uh I was living in

<<863>> Mexico in Cancun and I started to read

<<865>> about Buddhism and Hinduism and I said

<<869>> okay well here's Enlightenment and

<<872>> here's and I'm not a religious person I

<<874>> I just I just talk about that meaning

<<876>> like this is what one of the one of the

<<879>> other keys that brought me

<<881>> to having a bit of wisdom I feel today

<<884>> that I still know nothing and I'm just

<<886>> you know you know a junior and

<<887>> everything as well uh but I think that

<<890>> that is one of the key to

<<893>> self-reflection to being humble to try

<<897>> to care to be grateful to be positive to

<<901>> accept things as well you know you have

<<904>> to fight fight fight yes but also

<<906>> sometimes you have to accept some things

<<908>> that you can change the only thing that

<<910>> you can change is how you how you react

<<912>> to things and I've

<<915>> had you know some some hard moments I

<<920>> was a single mother at 21 years old um I

<<923>> had some poverty moments as well in my

<<926>> life um

<<929>> I don't come from a rich family I come

<<931>> from a modest not not poor but just

<<933>> modest and and employee mindset family I

<<937>> would I would say um and then being a

<<940>> single mom brought me to you know have

<<943>> to find a way out and what do I want for

<<946>> my kid and what do I who do I want to

<<948>> grow and then I don't know I've I've

<<950>> life put people on my path that were

<<954>> inspiring to me um and I just check what

<<958>> they were doing and what books they were

<<960>> reading and I said okay well if I want

<<962>> to have that that level of life that or

<<964>> that level of Consciousness I'll go read

<<967>> those books so I'm a

<<968>> bookaholic I buy more books than I can

<<971>> actually read and that's the truth

<<973>> there's lots of books that I never read

<<976>> but I do have them which is confering to

<<978>> me which is not actually a good thing to

<<980>> say about me but it's the truth um but I

<<984>> think books help me a lot and um one of

<<987>> my best mentors in life has been Robin

<<990>> charma and I've been following him more

<<993>> than ever since dotera and right now I I

<<997>> I'm I'm still following him I'm I'm

<<999>> still teaching what he teaches us uh but

<<1002>> at the beginning of dotera I really

<<1004>> invested in his

<<1006>> trainings and it I think that this

<<1010>> training brought me from goldish to Blue

<<1013>> Diamond in a

<<1014>> year because I just kept I I just took

<<1017>> what he taught us you know to focus on

<<1020>> our um on our personal Empires you know

<<1024>> our health our mind you know our

<<1026>> spirituality our physical health yeah

<<1029>> like everything is together so I said

<<1031>> okay if that worked for me if I teach my

<<1033>> team about that what is it going to make

<<1036>> you know because it did work for me and

<<1040>> I did it and I and I taught my team

<<1042>> everything I knew or everything I was

<<1044>> learning and it did create an explosion

<<1048>> in

<<1049>> you know in in in growth so I don't know

<<1052>> if it's all about that but I I'm I

<<1054>> surely think that it it did have a huge

<<1056>> impact um so that was a lot of

<<1058>> information for your question

<<1061>> but I think you have to keep growing and

<<1065>> personal coaching reading putting

<<1068>> yourself in danger being okay with uh

<<1071>> with getting to know what not getting to

<<1073>> know

<<1074>> but facing what sometimes you have to to

<<1078>> to to better you know to to to improve

<<1082>> and we do that as a couple you know uh

<<1085>> if you're in a relationship you have to

<<1086>> improve yourself you have to have

<<1088>> communication uh with your kids you have

<<1090>> to improve your communication I have

<<1092>> five kids and the communication with one

<<1095>> is not the same with the you know I have

<<1096>> a 22y old and a fiveyear old believe me

<<1100>> I was I'm not the mother I was when I

<<1102>> was 21 you know so you have to know how

<<1105>> to communicate and I think it all has to

<<1106>> do with being humble listening and

<<1110>> caring so much that what you think if I

<<1112>> think I'm right doesn't really

<<1115>> matter what is the best for

<<1118>> you and when you put the other person in

<<1121>> front more important then you go find

<<1123>> other answers so you can help that

<<1124>> person I I would talk about my kids what

<<1127>> is the best for that kid is not going to

<<1129>> be the best for the other one so I just

<<1131>> you know try to focus on okay I need to

<<1134>> learn about that skill to help more grow

<<1136>> my

<<1137>> daughter and my son will be different so

<<1140>> I'll just go get some other skills to

<<1142>> help my my son you know so it's kind of

<<1144>> the same in network marketing you have

<<1146>> to know who is good at what what is

<<1149>> their personal you know innate strength

<<1153>> and passions and we have to accommodate

<<1156>> ourselves as leader to make sure that

<<1158>> they grow um as they

<<1161>> should I feel like these um leader like

<<1165>> whoever listens to this podcast can go

<<1166>> back several times in this because there

<<1169>> was so much there but thank you so much

<<1171>> and I think you gave us no no no that's

<<1174>> it's amazing and H you gave us I think

<<1178>> already a bit of an answer or a lot of

<<1180>> an answer of my next question which is

<<1183>> what does being a double presidential

<<1185>> diamond mean to you it's it's actually

<<1187>> you know as I said earlier in in in the

<<1190>> recording I think it it should not

<<1193>> change you I think that rank um if if

<<1197>> you if you ask a blue diamond how do

<<1200>> they feel the next day they feel that oh

<<1202>> my gosh you know they achieved it

<<1204>> they're so happy they see their rank but

<<1205>> they don't feel

<<1207>> different they're happy and they're

<<1210>> going to probably say okay well then

<<1211>> what's next I think the journey has to

<<1215>> be more important than the actual fact

<<1219>> of you know um of of achieving it and of

<<1222>> you know seeing it in your dashboard so

<<1224>> I think double presidential means

<<1226>> freedom obviously Financial Freedom

<<1230>> it comes with high

<<1232>> responsibility High

<<1234>> commitment to DOA because I'm grateful

<<1238>> and I'm

<<1241>> um I don't know how to say that in in

<<1244>> English um like I owe them I I owe them

<<1249>> to be to be there because they they this

<<1252>> company changed my life you know and it

<<1254>> changed my kids life and my kids future

<<1256>> and my parents life as well and my

<<1258>> sister sister's life and my best

<<1259>> friend's life as well so

<<1262>> it I'm um I I I really I I have a I have

<<1266>> a blank here in my in my English diction

<<1268>> inner dictionary but you know when you

<<1270>> feel like you you owe it to them and

<<1276>> um the commitment the responsibility to

<<1279>> the

<<1280>> team it's like at that level you can't

<<1283>> fail you have to be on top of things as

<<1286>> well so if you guys want to go if you're

<<1289>> listening to this and you want to go to

<<1290>> presidential or double presidential make

<<1292>> sure that you are in for the long ride

<<1295>> it's not something that you can quit

<<1296>> after that once you reach it you have to

<<1298>> be there and you have to keep serving

<<1299>> your team it's not oh I'm double press

<<1302>> now I can retire sorry wrong to the

<<1306>> country you're gonna have to continue

<<1308>> working and serving but in a better way

<<1311>> more intelligent way you're going to

<<1312>> have to I don't know me more creative

<<1315>> and but people are watching you more

<<1318>> when you're double presidential and they

<<1320>> request more of you and they expect more

<<1323>> of you as well so that's something that

<<1325>> we never talk about that's something

<<1328>> that's more

<<1330>> um

<<1331>> [Music]

<<1333>> um uh I don't have that word either in

<<1336>> in in English but it's it's yeah it's a

<<1338>> taboo you know um it goes it comes with

<<1342>> more

<<1343>> traveling um more events more speaking

<<1348>> more Mee

<<1349>> meetings and and yeah but it comes with

<<1354>> 12 people of my front line that are

<<1356>> living financially from DOA minimum

<<1360>> Platinum some of them are blue diamond

<<1363>> you know it comes with those 12 people

<<1367>> it means that there's 36 people at our

<<1369>> minimum silver that are also probably

<<1372>> leaving out of DOA or going you know

<<1374>> their way to Gold meaning they can

<<1376>> probably live of DOA only and that would

<<1380>> meet minimum 108 people that can pay

<<1383>> their products and have extra money to

<<1385>> pay something else and that also are on

<<1387>> their way to change other people's lives

<<1389>> so it means hundreds of thousands of

<<1392>> people with products in their house and

<<1395>> lives change

<<1397>> changed so if you ask me again my answer

<<1400>> would be thousands of lives

<<1404>> changed with the product with their

<<1407>> finances

<<1409>> but also the impact because when you

<<1412>> grow in ranks When I Grow It means other

<<1415>> people are

<<1416>> growing and other people are growing

<<1418>> means another level of people are

<<1421>> growing and if reaching double

<<1423>> presidential means that 36 people are

<<1427>> taking layers out of themselves

<<1430>> are believing in theirself for for the

<<1433>> first time of their life they they have

<<1436>> now a vision

<<1438>> they know where they're going in life

<<1441>> they want to help more and they they

<<1443>> just go back to their to their you know

<<1445>> true

<<1446>> self then I've

<<1448>> succeeded there is doesn't matter cuz I

<<1451>> think we're on her to inspire people to

<<1454>> empower people with your gifts you do it

<<1457>> with mine I do it as well and when

<<1460>> someone calls me and say hey I I just

<<1462>> had a person from South Africa two days

<<1464>> ago she's like oh my gosh I'm going to

<<1466>> reach I'm reaching silver for the first

<<1468>> first time and so I went to speak to

<<1471>> South Africa last year at Leadership

<<1472>> Retreat they asked me to to to try to

<<1476>> you know Empower uh the new leaders

<<1478>> there that you know uh were trying to do

<<1480>> everything so I I was there three days

<<1482>> with them and there's this girl that

<<1485>> just said what you said in that training

<<1488>> changed my life and changed how I saw

<<1491>> myself how I could have a vision and I

<<1494>> don't remember exactly what you said but

<<1495>> it was about few words that you you said

<<1499>> made me believe that I could do it as

<<1501>> well and so I did and I'm going to do it

<<1503>> and I'm going to follow your steps as

<<1505>> well I'm like okay it's working you know

<<1508>> there's others people and I'm just so

<<1509>> happy she's not on my team I'm probably

<<1511>> never going to see her again but it just

<<1514>> brings me so much joy because I know how

<<1518>> it feels when you reach

<<1519>> silver and I know how it feels when you

<<1521>> can quit your job and be full-time in

<<1524>> dotera in an empowering people woman men

<<1528>> as well well but I mean obviously doter

<<1529>> is more uh into woman it it's just feel

<<1533>> like

<<1534>> okay um in French we

<<1537>> say I've won my heaven you know and I

<<1540>> probably didn't for all religious people

<<1542>> that are listening to this podcast only

<<1545>> only God knows right but sometimes I'm

<<1548>> like okay like what's next I'm I'm

<<1552>> enlightened by the enlightenment of the

<<1555>> people and what they believe in the in

<<1557>> themselves and

<<1558>> when they when they see their true

<<1560>> powers and how beautiful they are um

<<1563>> that's my best

<<1564>> gift oh that's so good and the like the

<<1568>> feeling the the reward that you get with

<<1571>> that sort of message that the impact

<<1573>> that you have on that person life that's

<<1574>> that's really cool I just wanted to

<<1576>> maybe touch a bit on something you

<<1578>> mentioned because I think it's something

<<1580>> we haven't really talked about before

<<1582>> about the pressure that comes with with

<<1585>> being such a high rank and um how do you

<<1589>> deal with

<<1591>> it good

<<1593>> question

<<1596>> um it's

<<1598>> hard it's

<<1599>> hard

<<1601>> um it's hard and I'm okay with hard but

<<1605>> uh sometimes I feel

<<1607>> alone and sometimes thank God I have

<<1610>> friends that are you know presidential

<<1612>> diamonds and and we can relate and and I

<<1614>> can call them and they understand how

<<1615>> I'm feeling cuz I think that's something

<<1618>> H that something that happens I mean it

<<1621>> happened to me um and apparently to

<<1623>> other leaders as well but people don't

<<1626>> people do see you

<<1629>> differently I think that they they cut

<<1632>> themselves from

<<1634>> you

<<1636>> um I felt that in my team and it it did

<<1639>> hurt and it still hurts sometimes

<<1643>> [Music]

<<1644>> and you know they they I often have the

<<1648>> comment well you don't know our real

<<1650>> reality you don't know how it feels you

<<1653>> oh well you don't have to do that

<<1654>> anymore we know you know some comments

<<1656>> like that would come

<<1658>> often uh but they're not true because

<<1661>> I'm still enrolling customers and I'm

<<1662>> still enrolling Builders and I'm still

<<1665>> you know I'm just working differently

<<1667>> and maybe I'm not showing every

<<1668>> Everybody what I'm doing so I've been

<<1670>> told hey MK teach us I mean show us that

<<1673>> you're working CU they all think I'm

<<1675>> retired I'm not doing anything in my

<<1677>> life and that hurts me as well because I

<<1678>> don't want them to think I'm not doing

<<1679>> anything I could but I also care about

<<1683>> what they think you know I'm still

<<1685>> learning that that that in my personal

<<1687>> grow journey to not care about what

<<1689>> people think but I care I

<<1691>> do and they know I'm working but there

<<1694>> there's been a disconnection um with

<<1697>> some of my Super Friends and and because

<<1700>> because they think I'm disconnected you

<<1702>> know from their

<<1703>> reality um I don't love them less and I

<<1706>> don't think they love me less but it it

<<1708>> it did hurt so I don't sometimes I feel

<<1710>> like I cannot have you know some

<<1712>> conversations that I have in in the

<<1714>> first place and um it does feel alone it

<<1719>> it does it it is it is hard and and I

<<1723>> remember last year I had some anxiety

<<1724>> issues um you're probably going to

<<1727>> mention that in in in the podcast but

<<1730>> um my uh my husband died um in October

<<1736>> 2022 at 40 years old we had two kids

<<1740>> together the two youngest one of five

<<1743>> and

<<1745>> um so I I ended up alone with uh dotera

<<1749>> which I I was already doing alone but we

<<1751>> had a real estate company together and I

<<1753>> ended up you know managing the whole

<<1755>> thing and also having five kids at home

<<1757>> because he was my helper as well I mean

<<1759>> he was the dad at home you know taking

<<1760>> care of everything so I was alone five

<<1763>> kids two businesses

<<1765>> Plus+ and I had anxiety you know and I

<<1769>> and I I was more alone than ever and and

<<1771>> I needed help and I remember sometime

<<1774>> one time I I asked for help I said okay

<<1777>> I'm gonna ask for help and I and I

<<1780>> received as an answer well you're a

<<1781>> multi-millionaire MK what what like what

<<1785>> are you complaining

<<1787>> about so the money thing did put

<<1792>> some some some comments uh that hurt

<<1797>> because I come from a very modest place

<<1799>> and I did not change I still go to H&M

<<1802>> for my for my clothes or her oara or uh

<<1806>> I don't buy fancy bags I don't judge

<<1808>> people who who do that but I can't uh I

<<1811>> don't fly first class when when I don't

<<1814>> feel it's it's worth the money um I

<<1817>> still have jeans right now talking to

<<1819>> you uh that I that I bought six years

<<1822>> ago they're still fitting me thank God

<<1824>> and because they're pretty you know I'm

<<1826>> I'm it didn't change me me and they

<<1829>> change me but I think that when you have

<<1831>> a certain success and you're put more on

<<1834>> stage people uh you know they they they

<<1838>> feel you're not the same person anymore

<<1839>> but you're you are you are so yeah it

<<1843>> comes with lots of um good

<<1847>> sides but also

<<1850>> pressure and sometimes as I said you

<<1853>> feel alone but sometimes you feel

<<1856>> like should I go back you know I mean

<<1860>> I'm telling you the truth here you can

<<1861>> you can you can erase that part but it's

<<1864>> just it it is what it is um yeah and

<<1867>> also there's the pressure of you can't

<<1869>> go back to to you can lower the

<<1873>> ranks you can fail them you can't so you

<<1876>> have to keep going uh because some

<<1878>> people you know would go Diamond to gold

<<1880>> which happened a lot in my team now

<<1882>> they're going back to Diamond but as a

<<1884>> double press I don't think that you can

<<1886>> go back to presidential

<<1888>> there's this pressure this this

<<1891>> um you know they they see you and then

<<1894>> it's just like it has pros and cons I'm

<<1896>> saying you know it's it's like an artist

<<1899>> they made this huge record and it's so

<<1902>> good and everybody's a and then they do

<<1904>> like a um a word tour and they're on top

<<1906>> of their league and then but then the

<<1908>> next the next uh CD the next compact or

<<1911>> the next disc it's not good and so like

<<1916>> the pressure or r or everything so there

<<1919>> is a huge pressure that people don't

<<1920>> know about but it comes with so many

<<1923>> gifts I mean I would do it again I would

<<1927>> do it again because it did change my

<<1929>> life and I'm okay with the price I'm

<<1932>> okay with the price to pay um and I know

<<1936>> that those relationships are um that you

<<1938>> know did change are re changing in the

<<1941>> right direction because we have love for

<<1943>> each other and and I know like I can

<<1946>> understand how people feel

<<1948>> and I love them so much and they love me

<<1951>> and and it's just it's just beautiful

<<1953>> and it's part of the it's part of the

<<1954>> personal girl Journey as well uh but I

<<1957>> would do it again entirely because it's

<<1959>> all it's worth every minute right now

<<1961>> we're doing a podcast and I'm in in in

<<1964>> Madrid uh but two days ago I was in

<<1966>> Switzerland and 17 days ago I was in

<<1969>> Paris for 10 days and then before that I

<<1971>> was in Portugal for two weeks I mean I

<<1972>> can travel my life I can be with my kids

<<1975>> I can enjoy time with my kids I can

<<1977>> focus on projects that I've been that

<<1979>> have been on my heart for years but I

<<1981>> could not do it now thanks to DOA I can

<<1984>> work on projects that that were there in

<<1987>> my dream drawers that I actually forgot

<<1990>> about but they I can dream again and I

<<1993>> have to create other other you know

<<1996>> dream boards vision

<<2000>> boards but it would have not been

<<2002>> possible without this business I can

<<2004>> tell you guys it's not possible I mean

<<2007>> yeah everything is possible but this

<<2009>> business accelerated my life and their

<<2012>> success and their Financial Freedom at a

<<2015>> pace that nobody has has idea of the of

<<2021>> the the

<<2023>> quality the

<<2025>> intensity the

<<2028>> quantity of the money you can make but

<<2031>> how you can leverage it to make

<<2034>> more so this business model

<<2038>> is what brilliant people

<<2041>> use to become really financially free

<<2045>> and to change their fam's future forever

<<2049>> oh okay thank you first of all for the

<<2052>> vulnerability and I think this is the

<<2055>> beauty of a podcast is that you can just

<<2059>> express yourself and I think a lot of

<<2062>> people will will get a lot from from

<<2063>> what you said and for being so real

<<2066>> because like we don't want to say that

<<2067>> everything is just roses and uh that

<<2071>> there there's no trade-off right like

<<2074>> with a lot of impact and growth there's

<<2077>> things that will you have to trade so

<<2080>> for sure uh so thank you for sharing

<<2082>> that and you touched in something yeah I

<<2085>> I was going to mention it because

<<2087>> obviously it's a big part of your

<<2089>> journey I don't want to go into too much

<<2091>> into the emotional or personal side of

<<2094>> your um husband's death but I think if

<<2097>> you want to share maybe more how that

<<2101>> made you change as a person and and as a

<<2105>> leader and the impact that it has like

<<2108>> um on your structure or on yourself that

<<2111>> I think that would be I mean it had a

<<2113>> huge impact obviously um not only on a

<<2116>> personal level but on a business level I

<<2119>> my why

<<2120>> changed totally CU um he was diagnosed

<<2124>> with tongue cancer at the age of 4

<<2128>> two months after he turned 40 and my

<<2131>> husband was healthy uh he was working

<<2133>> out every day he was um I mean he was

<<2137>> really really healthy I mean we live a

<<2138>> we have a healthy lifestyle we uh lived

<<2141>> in in in Paradise we lived in Mexico

<<2143>> when he was uh diagnosed uh no stress or

<<2147>> very little you know so it did um

<<2152>> changed me entirely in Forever in a good

<<2155>> way um I

<<2158>> realized the strength of this model of

<<2161>> this business model when when I started

<<2164>> to have to be more with him and when I

<<2166>> realized that he would

<<2168>> die um I realized how you know the it's

<<2172>> not the luck because I don't believe in

<<2174>> luck uh but the chance that and not not

<<2178>> the chance either but like the the the

<<2180>> blessing of this of this business

<<2183>> model

<<2185>> and as I as I already mentioned in in in

<<2188>> one conference

<<2190>> the I was able to be with him every step

<<2194>> of the

<<2195>> way every every appointment every step

<<2200>> of the way I was with him and I never

<<2204>> checked my financials I never worried

<<2208>> about my future my financial future

<<2211>> obviously I did worry about the next you

<<2213>> know phase of life being a widow at 40

<<2216>> what 40

<<2218>> one yeah um but I

<<2222>> never I never uh worried about that and

<<2226>> I think

<<2227>> that that is a

<<2229>> gift

<<2231>> um my now boyfriend um had

<<2235>> to go through that kind of of of of of

<<2238>> illness with his mother during three

<<2241>> years in a country where there was no

<<2243>> financial aid uh you know financial

<<2245>> support so he had to go through that

<<2249>> having to ask people for

<<2251>> money having to put his career for three

<<2254>> years on the bench having to suffer

<<2259>> having to um worry every day how would

<<2263>> he be able to pay for the treatment how

<<2265>> would he be able to pay for you know

<<2268>> anything it could not work but there was

<<2271>> also no

<<2272>> income and at the end when she died his

<<2274>> mom died he had $70 in his pocket

<<2278>> and he had to fly to another country to

<<2280>> have it you know to create a new life at

<<2283>> 36 years old or something like that and

<<2287>> you start over

<<2288>> again so when I hear stories like that

<<2291>> and this is

<<2293>> one there's other people that you know

<<2297>> are um have to make it work in network

<<2300>> marketing so they can actually support

<<2301>> their family it's a matter of of of you

<<2306>> know some people people do network

<<2308>> marketing so they can support their kids

<<2309>> that have you know has as a illness and

<<2312>> oh yeah my kid was born with uh with a

<<2315>> disability I have no money to pay for

<<2317>> the treatment I'll do network marketing

<<2319>> so I can pay for the treatment but they

<<2321>> have to work during the

<<2323>> illness I had the chance to not have to

<<2326>> work during the illness I had this

<<2328>> blessing of having a team that said hey

<<2332>> you girl we're there we're going to

<<2333>> support you we're there we love you we

<<2335>> love MCO we're going to be there until

<<2337>> the end

<<2338>> count on us so I did not even check my

<<2339>> rank I did not even check my end of

<<2341>> month I was there never worrying and

<<2344>> that is the best gift that somebody can

<<2347>> I mean I don't wish anything you know

<<2349>> anything bad to anybody but

<<2351>> unfortunately you may have one day to

<<2354>> help your mother your your father your

<<2357>> sister or your kid your own kid and you

<<2359>> may have to stop working for six months

<<2361>> or maybe two years and that happened in

<<2363>> my own team and that's when you see the

<<2367>> power of

<<2369>> residual and of building network

<<2371>> marketing I don't wish that you I don't

<<2374>> wish you that you have to uh use it but

<<2377>> when you have it and you have this

<<2379>> financial cussion that I would say in I

<<2382>> don't know if it's the right expression

<<2383>> in English but like you have this money

<<2386>> in the bank if you have a buffer then

<<2388>> you have you you're you don't have to be

<<2390>> multi-millionaire you just have to have

<<2392>> maybe like 50,000 in your bank account

<<2395>> and I'm not talking pesos I'm talking

<<2396>> pounds now or or Euros you have to have

<<2399>> this at least so you can be present for

<<2401>> your family and if it doesn't happen

<<2404>> when take this money and invest it and

<<2406>> make more money out of it it's great but

<<2410>> dotera gives you this this leverage so

<<2413>> the death of my husband changed me as a

<<2415>> woman changed my philosophy of

<<2418>> Life changed oh God it G I mean I was

<<2422>> already a very positive person and very

<<2425>> intense person as you can hear in my

<<2428>> voice I'm an intense person but it made

<<2430>> me more intense but also more

<<2433>> intentional about life and about what I

<<2435>> do with my precious time because we did

<<2437>> not see it coming we did not see it

<<2440>> coming in six months it went from being

<<2443>> diagnosed to die to to to you know to

<<2445>> die in my arms I did not see it coming

<<2449>> ever and that's the biggest lesson of my

<<2451>> life you don't know and so please take

<<2455>> care of your life take care of your

<<2456>> relation ship don't hold grudges with

<<2459>> people communicate love respect forgive

<<2463>> move on you know grow and it it's just

<<2466>> so I don't know it it it just made me

<<2470>> even more aware of of that and I think

<<2473>> it made me a better

<<2476>> communicator

<<2479>> and even more kind and compassionate

<<2482>> about about about life and my business

<<2484>> did suffer a bit about that but it it's

<<2486>> growing back and it's okay you know it

<<2490>> it did suffer cuz I did not put you know

<<2493>> the energy in my business my team was

<<2495>> there and they they they continued to

<<2496>> keep their own businesses but where I

<<2499>> needed to put some some energy I could

<<2501>> not and I said well this is my price to

<<2503>> pain I'm okay I mean from double press

<<2505>> to double blue or to Double Diamond I

<<2507>> mean I'm not going to complain it's fine

<<2510>> it's

<<2511>> okay thanks MK and I feel like if you're

<<2515>> listening to this podcast and you're not

<<2516>> crying

<<2518>> I don't know what's wrong with you

<<2519>> because I'm almost there H I went to the

<<2523>> um once again yeah just thank you for

<<2526>> what you're sharing and um I feel like

<<2528>> there's a a bit here that I would like

<<2530>> to isolate because you just had so much

<<2532>> power in what you were saying that it's

<<2535>> it's just so good um but I would like to

<<2540>> now like also to let me myself

<<2542>> breathe

<<2545>> go but change a bit the then go a bit

<<2548>> into maybe a a lighter a lighter some

<<2552>> lighter questions but when I was

<<2554>> researching about you and I saw your

<<2557>> website and I found like some of your

<<2559>> videos I feel like you have a very

<<2561>> strong personal brand and identity and I

<<2565>> think that already comes from you

<<2567>> mentioned that you have done this for

<<2569>> many years um but how has that uh having

<<2573>> that strong uh personal brand helped you

<<2575>> shape your business and um how do

<<2578>> you can how can you help our audience or

<<2582>> what tips you can give our audience for

<<2584>> them to build their own personal brand

<<2586>> or Define their brand okay so that's a

<<2589>> good question uh because for the people

<<2591>> who will probably research about my name

<<2593>> after that they'll see that I'm a

<<2595>> private profile on Instagram um but I do

<<2598>> have a website my YouTube is not really

<<2600>> good I mean it's good the content is

<<2602>> amazing obviously but it's not

<<2605>> like I did not put time and and and

<<2609>> money in in in that kind of brand my

<<2611>> website is really nice though but

<<2614>> um I think uh branding has two

<<2618>> meanings I think you have a market you

<<2621>> know the marketing branding I don't

<<2623>> think I have that

<<2625>> yet uh but I have the personal branding

<<2629>> which is who is MK and so who the people

<<2632>> who know me in the the dotera industry

<<2635>> or maybe a bit now in the network

<<2638>> marketing industry but not really as I

<<2641>> say something my my my kids think I'm

<<2643>> famous because when they come to events

<<2645>> they're like come on you're so famous

<<2646>> everybody wants to take pictures I'm

<<2648>> like yeah I'm just famous here when we

<<2651>> go outside nobody cares so it's

<<2653>> fine so it's just funny you know because

<<2657>> I'm I'm not a f famous I'm not big on

<<2659>> social media I don't I did not yet you

<<2662>> know um find the interest yet um um I

<<2668>> think it's important to be there but

<<2669>> anyways that's another topic so my

<<2671>> personal

<<2673>> brand that dotera knows about me and

<<2676>> that my team knows about me and the the

<<2678>> the line that's that I always use is

<<2681>> servant

<<2683>> leadership and that obviously comes from

<<2685>> my mentor Robin charma uh because I need

<<2687>> to quote him when I use that because

<<2689>> that's not from me I learned that from

<<2691>> him and I I'll be forever grateful uh so

<<2694>> MK is all about loving caring being kind

<<2699>> serving giving

<<2702>> listening uh so I I don't know what's

<<2705>> the word of the the comics in in in

<<2710>> English but in French is k k so you know

<<2713>> the teddy bears that they were throwing

<<2715>> love into a a big um rainbow I don't

<<2719>> know what's the name of it in English I

<<2721>> don't know teddy bears or yeah

<<2724>> bear maybe you're too young for that I'm

<<2727>> 43 so I maybe you don't know about the

<<2730>> Care Bears you probably see them because

<<2731>> they're still you know so cute but

<<2734>> sometimes I mean uh I mean for years ago

<<2737>> the joke was We're All Care Bears and

<<2740>> we're just you know pouring love and

<<2741>> crying and and know loving each other so

<<2744>> much in events that maybe maybe that

<<2746>> could be my brand MK Care Bear or love

<<2749>> car

<<2751>> bear I I think

<<2754>> um I don't I don't think I have a strong

<<2757>> marketing brand I have a strong personal

<<2759>> brand that would be the question how can

<<2761>> I help people to do their to develop

<<2763>> their brand uh what as I said marketing

<<2765>> is not I mean I'm good at marketing I'm

<<2767>> good at helping people doing it but I

<<2769>> didn't do it for myself yet um but I do

<<2773>> help people focus on what they're good

<<2775>> at and their personality so if you are a

<<2778>> very quiet person or very introvert you

<<2781>> may not know that about me but I'm a

<<2783>> very very introvert person I can do very

<<2785>> good interview and and speeches but then

<<2788>> I go

<<2789>> hide and and I just you know want to be

<<2792>> with myself so I isolate myself a lot as

<<2794>> well um but um I think that you have to

<<2799>> follow and stay true to who you are so

<<2802>> maybe that's one of one of the reason

<<2804>> I'm not on social media because I don't

<<2806>> because it stresses me more than it

<<2808>> gives me and it gives me anxiety and

<<2811>> then you know and probably some people

<<2813>> will relate on that and probably they

<<2814>> will be

<<2815>> relieved hearing that I'm not famous on

<<2818>> social media they can actually reach a

<<2820>> very high rank in dotera so there's hope

<<2824>> um but yeah how can I help them it's

<<2827>> really focus on the products that that

<<2829>> change your life

<<2831>> first so now with women my now my target

<<2835>> is uh women uh in their 40s that are

<<2838>> looking to stay young and healthy and

<<2840>> and be there to you know to create a

<<2841>> legacy but also you know there's I think

<<2844>> that the dotera products have magic not

<<2846>> only they're good to help you you know

<<2848>> with your cellular help and everything

<<2849>> but I think there's a magic that we

<<2851>> don't never talk about maybe that's not

<<2853>> going to be compliant but I think that

<<2856>> there's another level and all those all

<<2858>> those supplements we're taking in all

<<2859>> those oils they change us into better

<<2863>> person so I want to help women and men

<<2866>> to be just more powerful with themselves

<<2869>> and so I sell the products that change

<<2871>> my life and that helped me you know go

<<2873>> through the chaos of life I mean who

<<2877>> I mean I don't know a lot of people who

<<2878>> are not in chaotic life my life is

<<2880>> chaotic as well it's balanced in chaos

<<2884>> um and it's okay I love my

<<2887>> life uh so yeah so if you if you come to

<<2890>> me and you're like okay I'm this I'm

<<2892>> this okay what's your personal

<<2893>> background what's your professional

<<2894>> background okay I have this train this

<<2896>> okay well then let's focus on this you

<<2898>> were an uh utopist I don't know if

<<2900>> that's the word in English but like you

<<2901>> you were helping people with their uh

<<2903>> speak uh speeches uh problems then okay

<<2906>> let's focus on that let's just be you

<<2910>> and and help people with your specialty

<<2913>> and I think that's what people need

<<2914>> right now is that you focus on what you

<<2916>> are good

<<2917>> at and

<<2919>> um and yeah so that would might be my

<<2922>> only tip like if find something you're

<<2925>> really really good at or passionate

<<2926>> about maybe you say I'm actually not

<<2928>> good at lots of things but I love dogs

<<2931>> well

<<2932>> then learn about that and be focused on

<<2936>> only that for now and do that for two

<<2938>> years and be the best at what you do

<<2940>> with dogs and oils and you're I know

<<2943>> well I love caring about other people

<<2946>> and I love to give hand massage and I'm

<<2948>> passionate about volunteering okay how

<<2950>> can you serve how can you bring oils to

<<2953>> those centers how can you bring more

<<2954>> volunteers into your vision of helping

<<2957>> people with other people you know so

<<2960>> it's don't change yourself it's you and

<<2963>> you're and it's and it's You're great

<<2965>> and there's products for your message

<<2967>> just find the products bring the message

<<2970>> and then when they're in your

<<2972>> organization when they're signed up

<<2974>> bring them to more but bring them with

<<2978>> what you are special at and focus on

<<2981>> that does that answer your question yeah

<<2983>> and I think we we just kind of circle

<<2985>> back to the beginning and I think it's

<<2987>> about listening and this time kind of

<<2989>> listening to yourself and then how do

<<2992>> you communicate that um uh so we when we

<<2998>> we talked the first time we also talked

<<3000>> a bit about this quality versus quantity

<<3004>> um and so can um you tell us a bit on

<<3007>> how you focus um on uh finding the right

<<3013>> people or like the strategy of quality

<<3015>> versus quantity in terms of sharers and

<<3017>> Builders and how that strategy has

<<3020>> served your growth ah yeah I remember

<<3023>> that conversation with you and I have to

<<3025>> say that uh unfortunately for DOA I am

<<3028>> not a top

<<3029>> enroller and I've I think I've been a

<<3031>> top enroller only one month when they

<<3033>> were uh I was beginning and they had

<<3035>> this Rose and Jasmine contest and I just

<<3038>> wanted the Jasmine I didn't care about

<<3039>> the the rest I just I'm like I'm GNA do

<<3041>> it because I wanted jman um what

<<3045>> happened with my growth and quality

<<3048>> versus quantity I did attract more

<<3051>> Builders

<<3052>> [Music]

<<3053>> then I mean not then but like um I did

<<3056>> did ATT track builders period that would

<<3058>> be the end of the

<<3059>> sentence um but I also attracted lots of

<<3065>> customers that I think that one of my

<<3068>> secret is I bring the customers to

<<3071>> DOA because I share a healthy you know

<<3074>> lifestyle and I and I can tell them I'll

<<3076>> be with you during this journey I can

<<3077>> help you with this with this with this

<<3080>> by the way there's a very high side

<<3082>> effect in dotera products you have to be

<<3084>> careful you're going to fall love with

<<3086>> them so much you're going to want to to

<<3088>> do what I'm doing right now and I can

<<3090>> tell you it happens to everyone so just

<<3093>> be ready it's okay you're going to call

<<3095>> be calling me in about six months to say

<<3097>> hey how can I sell that because

<<3098>> everybody around me wants those product

<<3101>> and that's the truth everybody needs the

<<3103>> product

<<3104>> so I'm convinced about the products I'm

<<3107>> convinced convinced about the

<<3108>> opportunity and I just think that every

<<3110>> every customer will turn into a sharer

<<3112>> there's like no doubt in my mind it's a

<<3115>> done deal in it's a it's a done deal or

<<3119>> or you you attract

<<3121>> someone and they don't know yet but

<<3123>> they're going to be into the business in

<<3125>> a few months but you need to be wise and

<<3128>> you need to be a bit strategic you know

<<3130>> about yeah it's fine I'll help you you

<<3132>> know go through but you know that that

<<3134>> person has everything everything to

<<3137>> succeed but they're not ready yet

<<3140>> because you know what I started as a

<<3141>> customer so I'm the best example of that

<<3144>> I was a customer I bought a kit to to

<<3146>> encourage my friend my high school

<<3148>> friend

<<3150>> theoni because she had an she had um an

<<3153>> elite position in December 2015 she had

<<3158>> an elite position and she posted that on

<<3161>> Facebook and I said hey are you into the

<<3163>> natural industry that's so cool good for

<<3166>> you and can you tell me about that

<<3168>> position and she's like well yeah so we

<<3171>> hop on the zoom and she said well it's

<<3172>> about 15 hours you have to you know uh

<<3175>> to invest some sometimes and uh blah

<<3177>> blah blah here's are the requirements

<<3179>> and I said well no thank you but I'll

<<3181>> encourage you and I'll I'll buy you a

<<3183>> kit so I bought the home essential

<<3185>> one uh but I was not ready yet I I just

<<3189>> had you know um I was a director of

<<3191>> sales and marketing for another company

<<3193>> and I had I was working 70 hours a week

<<3196>> I was a single mother with no extra time

<<3199>> that was my reality then but probably

<<3202>> she knew that one day I would turn into

<<3205>> a builder so I just think I follow their

<<3207>> strategy to be okay the person will get

<<3210>> into customer they're not ready yet so

<<3212>> it took me six months to open my box can

<<3215>> you believe that six

<<3217>> months and when I opened it it just

<<3219>> changed my life and then I I could not

<<3221>> stop myself but sharing with people

<<3224>> naturally and then everybody wanted the

<<3226>> oils so I just said okay well let's you

<<3229>> know figure out how this works and I was

<<3231>> just so excited it grew organically and

<<3234>> with love and and and passion about

<<3236>> their products and I'm still more

<<3238>> passionate about their products than I

<<3240>> was then can you believe that after

<<3242>> eight years now

<<3244>> um

<<3247>> so yes I'm about quality not quantity

<<3251>> but there's a big butt if you're not

<<3254>> attracting Builders right now make sure

<<3257>> you attract big quantity of customers

<<3260>> because in those customers you're going

<<3261>> to find quality builders but there's a

<<3265>> there's a key to that you have to

<<3266>> nurture

<<3267>> them veronic did nurture me did follow

<<3270>> up with me every month then make sure

<<3272>> that I was using the products then make

<<3274>> sure that I love the products she was

<<3277>> there for me every month and sometimes I

<<3279>> was not even at ordering and one time

<<3281>> she just sent somebody at my house for

<<3283>> Diamond Club and

<<3287>> um and anik was her name my friend anik

<<3291>> and and anik came I I was not doing the

<<3293>> business I was just like yeah I'll

<<3295>> organize something for you you know to

<<3296>> help your team or she was not even she

<<3298>> was a crossline cross uh she was a

<<3300>> crossline from veronic and so anik came

<<3302>> and I figured out how to bring you know

<<3304>> six

<<3305>> people and an it gave the workshop the

<<3309>> essential oils 101 and I was like so

<<3314>> this is

<<3316>> it this is this is the

<<3318>> business I I could not believe it I'm

<<3321>> like so this is the business and I can

<<3322>> make hundreds of thousands of dollars

<<3324>> with that business are you kidding me

<<3328>> like I loved it I'm like this is so

<<3330>> simple everybody can do it and I'll be

<<3334>> forever grateful for that night because

<<3336>> I realized that I mean this is really

<<3337>> simple and it's empowering people with

<<3339>> their health so I'll do it so thanks to

<<3341>> that you know so it's just like I've

<<3343>> been just a customer that said not to

<<3345>> the opportunity so what I say to my team

<<3348>> is that there's a Maric somewhere make

<<3350>> sure make sure to nurture that person

<<3352>> make sure to involve that person to um

<<3355>> to listen to their needs as well and

<<3357>> there's people who are not ready yet or

<<3359>> they don't have the need yet the

<<3360>> financial need but maybe one day they

<<3362>> will but if you did not open the door

<<3364>> yet at the beginning or

<<3367>> during you're missing out on something

<<3369>> you're missing out on helping someone

<<3371>> change your life when they most need it

<<3374>> and you're being selfish because you're

<<3376>> so afraid of receiving it

<<3378>> now so

<<3380>> never never not offered opportunity

<<3384>> that's such just an horrible tax but

<<3388>> that's me

<<3390>> um so yeah I I think I attracted

<<3394>> Builders uh based on my um Vision I do

<<3398>> have a strong personality in a way that

<<3401>> I'm solid you know I'm super solid and

<<3404>> obviously if you're solid and if you

<<3406>> have a vision people will want to join

<<3407>> you and if you're positive if you're a

<<3410>> whining person that complain all the

<<3413>> time about everything in life God bless

<<3416>> you you love you but no thank you so uh

<<3419>> I would never follow someone who's

<<3421>> whining all the time who's complaining

<<3423>> all the I can't stand those people so

<<3426>> nobody will stand you so if you're that

<<3428>> kind of person and you're laughing right

<<3429>> now and you're like oh God I know some

<<3430>> people like that well don't invite them

<<3432>> into the business because they will

<<3433>> never bring other build builders in

<<3435>> bring them bring them as customers but

<<3436>> don't bring them players it's useless um

<<3440>> bring I mean they're not useless they

<<3442>> can be customers but as soon as they

<<3444>> don't bring positivity you're laugh and

<<3446>> that makes me laugh

<<3448>> so ah anyways but yeah being just solid

<<3452>> and happy and bring people into your

<<3454>> vision but just be positive life is so

<<3457>> short I said that

<<3459>> earlier oh yeah so quality quantity yes

<<3466>> quality that's what I brought but it did

<<3468>> bring

<<3470>> quantity and

<<3472>> quality comes from quantity sometimes so

<<3475>> it's not one or the other I think they

<<3477>> also go together you said you're you're

<<3480>> not a top enroller just for Jasmine but

<<3483>> you have um grown very quickly so you

<<3486>> have had to create M times of momentum

<<3490>> in your team before so in um in January

<<3493>> here at D Tera Europe we are launching

<<3496>> an initiative a challenge to help our

<<3498>> customers create these healthy habits

<<3500>> for life and we want to get people

<<3503>> engaged have you created like similar uh

<<3506>> initiatives in your team to gain

<<3508>> momentum and how did that

<<3510>> work so I I did um some initiatives like

<<3515>> that when I understood that uh if I help

<<3518>> them be healthy help my team be healthy

<<3522>> in all the

<<3524>> ways spiritually um you know financially

<<3528>> physically um in the time you know

<<3531>> wealthy and healthy that's how I say it

<<3533>> Healthy and Wealthy um

<<3536>> and you bring them to more Consciousness

<<3539>> you will create more impact so yes I did

<<3542>> uh create some um trainings with my

<<3546>> teams that were talking about movement

<<3549>> how movement is important to bring

<<3552>> energy uh how nature is important you

<<3555>> know I teach that as well uh how can um

<<3560>> being active four times a week will

<<3563>> create more income in your business

<<3566>> because it will because if you move well

<<3568>> and if you eat well you'll be more

<<3570>> creative you'll have more space you'll

<<3572>> have more discipline you'll be more

<<3574>> happy you'll be more positive and it's

<<3576>> going to create uh impact you know

<<3579>> Financial impact for sure so um I think

<<3584>> that if you don't do that then you're

<<3586>> missing out on a big thing and I I also

<<3588>> think that we have to be the product of

<<3589>> the product where Wellness industry you

<<3593>> know where Wellness businesses so if

<<3595>> you're not showing that you're healthy

<<3597>> I'm sorry but I

<<3599>> I I know that some people are not

<<3601>> healthy and they're they're succeeding

<<3603>> so it's not only about that but I do

<<3606>> think that helping people being more

<<3609>> healthy with their body their soul heart

<<3614>> financials that's when you really get an

<<3616>> impact so I am a businesswoman with a

<<3619>> big heart and I would not be in this

<<3622>> business if it was not this way and if

<<3625>> we could not really changes you know I'm

<<3627>> I'm not doing dotera for only only for

<<3631>> the money so it's I had this Mentor

<<3634>> Brienne she's my hel line and she and

<<3636>> and then the one of the first boot camp

<<3638>> I assisted she said it's not about the

<<3640>> money but it's not not about the money

<<3642>> and that stayed always but the money

<<3645>> comes when you have an impact so what

<<3647>> comes before I think you have to make an

<<3648>> impact for because then after you really

<<3650>> don't care about the money because the

<<3652>> money will come when you serve and when

<<3655>> you put people first so yes healthy

<<3658>> habits have to be first in your team so

<<3660>> make sure that your team moves your team

<<3663>> knows how to be healthy your team has

<<3665>> education for themselves they need to be

<<3668>> healthy themselves when you do a boot

<<3670>> camp make sure that they eat well make

<<3672>> sure that they hydrate make sure that

<<3674>> they know how to use their products as

<<3676>> well if I'm not the product of the

<<3678>> product how H H how can

<<3681>> I I can't I I know that there's people

<<3683>> that don't use the product I'm like so

<<3684>> you do the business I need to to the

<<3686>> business well you're even changing your

<<3688>> old you know your cellular level life I

<<3691>> am really the product of the product I

<<3693>> maybe use 150 products a day I mean I

<<3696>> have many kids so it does help but how

<<3701>> can I could I live without my

<<3703>> products I I told Emily and Kirk I said

<<3706>> you cannot ever close this company I

<<3710>> could never work without my collagen I

<<3711>> could never you know my adaptive forget

<<3714>> it my kids will change their mother if I

<<3717>> don't have adaptive adaptive changed my

<<3720>> life llv now vmg changed my life it gave

<<3723>> me a second life a third life adaptive

<<3725>> the college and the fourth

<<3727>> life uh I mean the vmg now the fifth

<<3730>> life I mean what's more to come and I

<<3734>> don't know so yes um do some um you know

<<3740>> some of those you know special programs

<<3742>> in your team and it can be short

<<3743>> programs it can be hey today everybody

<<3746>> we move or we go in the forest or we do

<<3748>> whatever but just bring them out bring

<<3750>> them in the sun bring them in nature

<<3752>> bring them to meditate bring them to

<<3754>> understand the power of meditation of of

<<3757>> Silence of solitude of reading of

<<3759>> journaling bring them to do that you'll

<<3762>> see the impact it will have on them it

<<3764>> will bring an impact into your business

<<3766>> I promise you it

<<3768>> will awesome so I yeah I would love to

<<3771>> just invite everyone who's listening

<<3773>> that I'm sure they are so fired that we

<<3775>> with your with your advice to check out

<<3778>> what what we are doing uh in the next

<<3780>> months and engage your teams because I

<<3782>> think it can be a really great movement

<<3786>> uh we are now winding down and coming

<<3789>> more towards the end um and when I was

<<3792>> uh looking and reading about you I I saw

<<3795>> that you describe yourself as a future

<<3797>> bestseller author what is yet to be done

<<3800>> for you okay so I I I thank you for

<<3803>> asking that uh I'm

<<3806>> I'm a very big achiever you know as I

<<3809>> said in my Gallup strength I have

<<3810>> positivity but obviously I have achiever

<<3812>> and connectedness and and strategy and

<<3815>> you know I don't remember the a

<<3817>> learner um so the first book I wrote and

<<3820>> that's almost done is about my way um

<<3825>> how did I manage to keep uh my mental

<<3830>> health basically and to grow consciously

<<3834>> during the illness of my husband and the

<<3837>> after so what did I put I mean I talk

<<3840>> about the story uh because it is a

<<3842>> tragedy with happened but the six months

<<3845>> were really horrible it was a horror

<<3846>> movie for him and for myself and for the

<<3849>> family as well but I was on a main main

<<3851>> character in that so I do explain that

<<3854>> story um to maybe bring more awareness

<<3858>> of sometimes what can what it can be to

<<3860>> be a

<<3861>> caregiver uh and what goes into your

<<3865>> mind as well well you know sometimes we

<<3866>> care about the person who's sick but

<<3868>> there's also the caregivers that need

<<3870>> really much help sometimes even more and

<<3875>> um yeah I sorry I get emotional but it's

<<3879>> it's it's a book what I I share about

<<3881>> you know what I've been through and and

<<3883>> it it's been so hard so hard uh um so I

<<3887>> share how how did I manage to stay

<<3889>> healthy what also I talk about the

<<3891>> products and how the Tera changed my

<<3893>> life during those you know those time

<<3895>> and and philosophically a lot so um it's

<<3899>> a book about that story and that story

<<3902>> will have um three books

<<3906>> basically um but the first one is is

<<3908>> almost ready to launch but I'm working

<<3911>> on the one that is going to be more

<<3913>> helpful I I think this one will also be

<<3915>> helpful but for a lot of people that's

<<3917>> that's my that's my goal you know just

<<3919>> to serve and to help people you know

<<3921>> being more aware and more loving and

<<3923>> caring and also to bring their awareness

<<3925>> in life higher um but the other book is

<<3929>> about my story as a little girl how did

<<3933>> I change my mindset to become you know

<<3936>> um an abundance mindset so I came from a

<<3939>> family as I said the beginning that were

<<3942>> that are not

<<3943>> entrepreneur and that we needed to

<<3946>> calculate everything for money that was

<<3948>> really like oh you were born in in

<<3950>> French we

<<3951>> say you know you were born for a small

<<3953>> bread don't ask for more money don't

<<3956>> grows in the trees uh you know stuff

<<3957>> like that that has been you know putting

<<3959>> inside my brain all my life and that

<<3961>> rich or bad people and and not that my

<<3964>> parents said that but they never really

<<3965>> ever said oh I'm so happy for the rich

<<3968>> people you know they my my parents are

<<3971>> super Balan and super kind and

<<3972>> everything but I never had rich people

<<3974>> around me so I did not have anyway so I

<<3976>> talk about how what did I do to change

<<3980>> my mindset how can it be possible for

<<3983>> everyone listening to this podcast and

<<3985>> everyone in the world world to change

<<3987>> their

<<3988>> reality the the thing is it cannot be

<<3991>> done from one day to the other so it's

<<3993>> been a path that I've been working on

<<3995>> since I was eight years old that I

<<3998>> decided that my life would be different

<<4000>> so I just explain how well the

<<4004>> story the growth of that mindset the

<<4008>> growth of the

<<4010>> wisdom how did I get there what

<<4013>> experienced were key what person was key

<<4016>> what book was key as well what exercise

<<4019>> that I do to bring you know always to

<<4022>> another level as the as a Ultra achiever

<<4025>> Maniac achiever so I bring you know like

<<4028>> a pyramid of of growth in the mindset so

<<4030>> you can see yourself and I'm still I am

<<4032>> still learning uh today

<<4035>> um how for example one of my

<<4039>> um not blockage but limited belief is

<<4044>> it's not a limited belief it's something

<<4045>> I'm working on but about the money about

<<4049>> uh when is enough enough how much do you

<<4052>> really need you know because when you

<<4053>> make so much money you're like wow okay

<<4056>> I want I want more because it's cool

<<4057>> because I can invest more and then but

<<4058>> there's also a bad Dark Side to that and

<<4061>> it gives other so that's another book

<<4064>> that will be the Dark Side of being a

<<4065>> millionaire um that nobody talks about

<<4068>> everybody talks oh so fun you can go on

<<4070>> the yach and you can have a Prada purse

<<4072>> and you can wo be in fancy hotels which

<<4074>> is all true but how you know what's this

<<4077>> what's the dark side of it and anyway so

<<4080>> that book I'm working on and I'm very

<<4082>> excited to share it with the world so

<<4084>> people can

<<4085>> relate I was a single mom with three

<<4088>> kids now I'm a widow with five kids and

<<4091>> I can make it happen how can I how could

<<4094>> I make network marketing happen when I

<<4096>> was a single M with three kids with no

<<4098>> financial support from the dads at all I

<<4101>> was the only one taking care of them

<<4103>> with a vision and with all the limited

<<4106>> beliefs that you can ever think about I

<<4108>> had

<<4109>> them so if I did it with what I had

<<4113>> everybody can do it so that's the book I

<<4116>> don't have a title yet in English so I'm

<<4118>> working on that so be um yeah you can

<<4121>> you can you can I mean follow me on on

<<4123>> the YouTube or on the Instagram you can

<<4125>> ask for um uh for following me because

<<4129>> I'll give to my you know my close people

<<4131>> the first access to the book it's going

<<4132>> to be launched in 20 25 uh I still have

<<4136>> no date but it's probably going to be

<<4137>> around you know the the last quarter of

<<4140>> the year so that's awesome and I'm glad

<<4143>> you're doing that because I felt during

<<4144>> this talk I I would love to have gone

<<4147>> still into this employee versus

<<4150>> self-employed mindset but we'll leave

<<4152>> that for another time MK no problem one

<<4156>> last question if you could only use one

<<4158>> word to describe yourself what will that

<<4161>> be and why well that's not a humbling

<<4164>> question cuz

<<4166>> it's hard like how how oh gosh that's a

<<4169>> that's a very hard question

<<4172>> because

<<4174>> um I think what described me now is the

<<4178>> love I have for the universe the people

<<4182>> the

<<4183>> planet the flowers the bananas

<<4187>> everything the potatoes um so I think

<<4193>> that who MK is right now is

<<4197>> love and kind I think and I and

<<4200>> I'm I really really love people and I

<<4203>> really

<<4204>> care so I would dare to say love because

<<4208>> that's what matters the most for me I

<<4211>> think there's no better way to wrap this

<<4213>> conversation MK thank you so much for

<<4216>> your generosity for your vulnerability

<<4218>> and for your power and energy uh it was

<<4220>> a pleasure and uh I hope everyone loves
