<<22>> to be able to support this cause,

<<27>> because human milk saves lives, literally.

<<30>> For very ill children,

<<32>> it can make the difference between life and death.

<<35>> - For a sick newborn in an intensive care unit,

<<38>> it's just vital.

<<40>> Mother's milk is medicine.

<<41>> So the milk is collected from the donor mothers

<<45>> and is frozen.

<<47>> We pasteurize it and we take tests.

<<50>> And if the milk is sterile,

<<52>> we can give it to the children.

<<53>> So it's defrosted and put in bottles.

<<57>> Our babies in the NICU cannot be fed

<<60>> like a normal baby that you have in your hand,

<<62>> and you just feed him like this.

<<65>> It's more complicated.

<<66>> It's tubes everywhere.

<<67>> And they prepare seven meals a day for 30 children.

<<71>> And buying the baby bottles is quite expensive for us.

<<76>> Imagine 30 patients times seven

<<78>> means 210 bottles every day to feed the children.

<<83>> And it costs about 25,000 euros every year.

<<90>> - Through the project Milk For Life,

<<92>> we wanted to raise money

<<95>> for single-use sterile bottles,

<<97>> which are used to feed the babies.

<<99>> - And every mother that heard

<<101>> that we are doing a Matching Project

<<104>> for babies, for newborn ill babies, came and helped.

<<111>> - The Wellness Advocates

<<112>> in Ioana's team managed to raise

<<114>> over $16,000.

<<117>> dōTERRA doubled that up to 15.

<<119>> So the total of $31,000.

<<121>> Seeing the impact,

<<123>> seeing what these people are doing

<<125>> with such few resources

<<127>> and only with private resources,

<<129>> with private funding,

<<131>> it's just absolutely amazing.

<<134>> - It was very rewarding to know that we have provided

<<138>> through our Matching Project,

<<140>> the funds to buy the bottles for an entire year.

<<144>> - When I entered the Bank, I was very emotional.

<<148>> Because, when you are there

<<150>> and you see what the Milk Bank really is,

<<154>> it's just heartbreaking

<<156>> because it's the only place in Romania

<<159>> where they have a chance to live.

<<161>> - All the money that we're raising

<<164>> from Rose Lotion and Hope Touch

<<168>> is going directly into Healing Hands,

<<170>> and into these Matching Projects.
