<<6>> - In the small villages of Romania,

<<8>> lockdowns severely affected

<<9>> the families with young children.

<<11>> As kindergartens were closed,

<<12>> children stayed home on
their phones or tablets,

<<15>> while some parents had to miss work,

<<18>> and didn't get paid.

<<20>> That's how a matching project started

<<21>> for the children from Sibiu.

<<23>> We raised money to buy them

<<25>> warm winter clothes and garments

<<27>> to spend time outdoors.

<<33>> - The special thing about Waldkinder

<<35>> is that kids spend all day outside,

<<39>> and they have a lot of freedom,

<<42>> and the first project we did in winter

<<44>> was inspired by the pandemic,

<<48>> because we continued our activity,

<<51>> and the others were locked in,

<<53>> and the village children
saw us go into the woods,

<<56>> and they just started
coming out of their yard.

<<58>> And, "Oh, these children go outside,

<<60>> I want to join them",

<<61>> but because it was winter,

<<62>> we knew they didn't
have the proper clothing

<<65>> to spend three to four hours outside.

<<67>> So that was our inspiration,

<<69>> the source of inspiration.

<<71>> And we said, "Let's have a project

<<72>> where we take them with us to the woods."

<<77>> - When I heard Oana that,

<<78>> she must have help others,

<<81>> so naturally, I was thinking directly

<<83>> to Healing Hands doTERRA.

<<85>> - Oana told me,

<<88>> some party will buy for us

<<92>> all we have to wear.

<<95>> - It helped give them
things that they can keep.

<<99>> The entire setup they had,

<<100>> the clothing, the outdoor clothing,

<<102>> the boots, and everything they could keep.

<<104>> - It was extraordinary for me,

<<109>> and worked for children.

<<110>> - We created a workshop

<<111>> where the school kids repair toys,

<<114>> and then we donate them to orphanages,

<<116>> or village children, or local children.

<<118>> - At this workshop, the kids repair toys.

<<121>> They like to invent a lot of toys.

<<124>> Whatever they imagine,

<<125>> they're going to create here.

<<127>> They're bringing toys from home,

<<128>> and giving to each other,

<<129>> and now they love this.

<<130>> They have to give it to some other kids

<<132>> that don't have toys,

<<134>> and they are very happy for this.

<<137>> - They open this kindergarten

<<139>> for the kids from this area

<<142>> to give them something that I
never found in another place.

<<146>> - With the help of this matching project,

<<148>> we offered winter clothing

<<149>> that the children can
wear for several seasons,

<<152>> and also pass on to
other children in need.

<<155>> And the kindergarten
workshop is now equipped

<<157>> to repair and build toys,

<<159>> teaching children about
generosity and sharing.

<<162>> - If we wouldn't have known

<<163>> about the opportunity
to get extra funding,

<<165>> I think we wouldn't have had the courage

<<167>> to even think about such a project.
