<<3>> hi my name is Laura Jacobs dotera
<<5>> presidential diamond and fifth us
<<7>> founder I'm so happy I could be with you
<<10>> via video and bring to you a message
<<13>> that is something I'm super passionate
<<15>> about and we could get together at this
<<17>> time and talk about the power of not
<<19>> only just essential oils but essential
<<22>> oil aromatherapy in regards to our
<<24>> emotional well-being or what we call
<<26>> emotional aromatherapy just a little bit
<<28>> about myself before we get started
<<30>> started I come from a background rich in
<<32>> exposure to Wellness and well-being I
<<37>> had a Wellness Center that I ran for 18
<<39>> years where I was able to serve as a
<<41>> holistic health coach for tens of
<<44>> thousands of clients and working with
<<46>> them not only on their physical health
<<48>> but also their emotional sense of
<<50>> well-being through life coaching and
<<52>> other methods of Simply creating a
<<54>> healthy emotional environment was truly
<<57>> some of my greatest passion and some of
<<58>> my favorite things that we got to work
<<60>> on together so what we're going to talk
<<62>> about together in this moment truly
<<64>> again is something that I love to
<<67>> discuss talk about learn about and for
<<69>> me it's forever an incredible Frontier
<<72>> of Discovery would you like to live in
<<74>> such a way that you actually feel ready
<<76>> for anything and what does ready for
<<78>> anything look like well first of all we
<<80>> have to Rally to every cause of our life
<<83>> first and foremost our attitude our
<<86>> attitude affects everything it affects
<<88>> our brain chemistry it affects the
<<91>> rhythm of our heart it even affects our
<<93>> immunity now for decades science and
<<95>> modern approaches to well-being have
<<98>> really had a tremendous focus on our
<<100>> physiology really looking at what are
<<102>> the physical needs of the body in order
<<104>> to achieve Wellness the real irony is
<<107>> that our physiology actually begins with
<<109>> our psychology how we think and what we
<<112>> believe so in order to really have this
<<115>> positive impact on living optimally we
<<117>> would first want to get in front of our
<<119>> ability to really take charge of how we
<<122>> feel and how we think about how we feel
<<125>> so if we look into the body and how it
<<127>> functions and and what is it doing to
<<129>> try to achieve this state of being it's
<<132>> a word we use called homeostasis and it
<<134>> describes that the body's NeverEnding
<<136>> goal is to constantly seek balance and
<<140>> equilibrium at all times irregardless of
<<142>> what's going on around you and changes
<<145>> that might occur so if we're going to
<<146>> talk about homeostasis let's go one
<<148>> level deeper and let's define it for
<<151>> ourselves what is that well information
<<153>> is constantly circulating in the body
<<155>> and information creates intelligence and
<<158>> so homeostasis is the capacity for the
<<162>> body to circulate or in other words to
<<165>> have an unimpeded flow of information
<<167>> moving at a very rapid pace so that if
<<170>> you smash your finger bam your brain's
<<172>> supposed to know about it so you can do
<<174>> something about it if you're in a
<<176>> situation where you feel afraid you want
<<178>> to Rally yourself to the pause do I need
<<180>> to run do I need to fight is it not real
<<183>> and I need to talk myself down out of
<<185>> the tree what is it so our ability again
<<188>> to take in information to rapidly
<<191>> process it and respond to it creates a
<<194>> higher level of intelligence so this
<<196>> then would be our focus and what we
<<198>> would want to achieve in our efforts and
<<201>> what we're talking about here okay so
<<203>> I'm going to go after and kind of hit us
<<204>> all right between the eyes do you think
<<206>> anything ever goes wrong in your
<<208>> childhood okay I know you're laughing
<<210>> right it's supposed to go wrong that's
<<211>> what childhood's all about my husband
<<213>> and I have a philosophy that you spend
<<215>> your childhood acquiring all your
<<217>> weaknesses or false beliefs so you can
<<219>> spend your entire adulthood changing
<<221>> those and turning them into your
<<223>> strengths so let's be honest life
<<225>> happens when you're a kid you know and
<<227>> and and tough things happen you know
<<229>> trauma happens abuse happens betrayal
<<232>> happens just life happens and so as a
<<236>> result of that we respond to it so you
<<240>> put yourself in the position of
<<242>> something like that happening well all
<<244>> of a sudden we're going to not only
<<246>> think about it we're going to feel about
<<248>> it and we're going to start to have
<<249>> these responses that we're talking about
<<251>> not only again just in our physiology
<<254>> but in our psychology and it's this
<<256>> impact here that we really want to take
<<259>> a closer look at and how we can again
<<261>> become a greater partner in what's
<<262>> happening so research has demonstrated
<<265>> that a lot of our chemical habits how we
<<268>> think and how we feel are actually
<<269>> linked to Childhood so let's talk about
<<271>> how that might happen what if we're in a
<<273>> a situation where it's stressful and I'm
<<275>> not talking about once in a blue moon
<<277>> stressful I'm talking about consistently
<<279>> stressful and so chemically we're going
<<281>> to have to Rally ourselves to the cause
<<283>> we're going to go into what is known as
<<285>> fight ORF flight mode we we've either
<<287>> got to run away from that stress or
<<289>> tackle it and so certain chemicals are
<<292>> going to be rallied to the cause
<<293>> adrenaline for example so that we can be
<<296>> all there to survive the moment well at
<<299>> that time being happy it's not so
<<301>> important right so your body's like
<<302>> serotonin it's not really important to
<<304>> me right now and so if you get in this
<<306>> habit of being stressed all the time and
<<309>> needing those chemicals and your body is
<<311>> sucking those chemicals up to fuel its
<<314>> ability to withstand the moment and
<<317>> you're getting out of the habit of
<<319>> uptaking Serotonin and and focusing on
<<322>> that part of your well-being well over
<<324>> time that literally becomes a habit
<<326>> where receptor sites for serotonin can
<<329>> shrink and become unused and we then get
<<331>> into a habit and sometimes even an
<<333>> addiction to a certain type of chemicals
<<335>> where our body becomes very habitual at
<<337>> having those running around the body so
<<339>> what form does information come in it
<<342>> comes in the form of what we call
<<344>> messenger molecules or also known
<<346>> scientifically as ligans so here's a
<<349>> couple examples you ever heard of
<<350>> hormones yeah of course you've heard of
<<352>> hormones or steroids or
<<354>> neurotransmitters like serotonin that
<<356>> I've already mentioned or a hormone like
<<358>> adrenaline so these are in fact uh some
<<361>> of the categories the largest category
<<363>> of messenger molecules are actually
<<365>> called peptides which has everything to
<<368>> do with our emotions because that's the
<<370>> physical form that they're translated in
<<372>> in the body so one of the greatest
<<374>> discoveries of our time was the
<<376>> discovery of the opiate receptor site
<<379>> and so what was discovered is several
<<380>> things can fit on this site so whether
<<382>> it's our own
<<384>> self-made morphine which we call
<<386>> endorphins or something again that comes
<<388>> from an outside source like morphine or
<<391>> an opiate drug they all fit on an opiate
<<394>> receptor site and this is how the body
<<396>> would receive that information and
<<398>> therefore have a response to it I think
<<400>> we can all agree that we get that these
<<402>> messenger molecules run every single
<<405>> aspect and system of our body but what
<<407>> I'd like to invite us to agree is what
<<409>> we've often not recognized and that's
<<411>> that our emotions actually run every
<<415>> single activity action and system of our
<<417>> body they are our messenger molecules so
<<421>> let's put that principle into action and
<<423>> see how it's going to work so remember
<<424>> we talked earlier about life happening
<<426>> when we were kid and there's trauma or
<<428>> betrayal or abuse or accidents whatever
<<431>> happens well what are we going to feel
<<433>> as a result of that experience are we
<<434>> going to feel like we need to defend
<<436>> ourselves are we going to feel like we
<<437>> need protection are we going to be
<<440>> afraid are we going to be happy maybe it
<<442>> was something really awesome whatever it
<<444>> is we're going to have to Rally
<<445>> ourselves to the cause to respond
<<447>> emotionally so naturally as we think
<<450>> about what's happening we're going to
<<452>> generate emotions and we're going to
<<453>> Rally our chemistry to the cause and
<<455>> we're going to learn all the while
<<457>> because we're learning emotionally so
<<458>> we're going to lay down tracks and
<<460>> expectations and even future responses
<<463>> are being trained in this moment
<<465>> especially as these situations reoccur
<<467>> for us that will then cause us to get in
<<469>> the habit of how we're going to respond
<<471>> chemically even later in our life so I
<<475>> would imagine at this point as we're all
<<477>> considering the ideas that we're
<<478>> discussing here together that we might
<<481>> want to ask ourselves a question gosh
<<483>> you know I feel like I have a couple
<<484>> emotional habits that I'm not really
<<486>> fond of or maybe you would say to
<<487>> yourself I think I've developed a couple
<<489>> chemistry habits I'm not really fond of
<<491>> I don't like the fact that I tend to go
<<492>> to
<<493>> frustrated uh without you know taking in
<<495>> more information and maybe I react
<<497>> sooner than I'd like to and I'm not
<<499>> really fond of that habit or maybe I
<<501>> tend to go to fear or anxiousness more
<<504>> quickly than I would like and I'd like
<<505>> to reprogram myself to perhaps have a
<<508>> different kind of respon respond so how
<<510>> could we partner with ourselves to get
<<512>> out of maybe some stuck cycles and
<<514>> actually shift our thinking and our
<<516>> beliefs and also shift our chemistry so
<<518>> I have some amazing good news for you
<<520>> the fact of the matter is that emotions
<<523>> are actually organic they're literal
<<526>> substance because of the fact that
<<529>> peptides are circulating in our body so
<<531>> we have this opportunity to really
<<534>> actually get involved with the process
<<536>> of Mind into matter and matter into mind
<<538>> we can involve ourselves consciously in
<<541>> the process of getting in charge again
<<544>> what we said from the beginning being
<<546>> ready for anything getting in front of
<<547>> our attitude getting in front of our
<<548>> moods rather than just simply getting
<<551>> behind an old habit or an old response
<<554>> the beautiful news here is that receptor
<<556>> sites are not stagnant that they have a
<<559>> potential for change they can change
<<560>> their sensitivity they can change their
<<562>> Arrangement and therefore we have a
<<564>> biochemical potential for change now
<<567>> along with that in our lyic brain in our
<<569>> amydala there's something so important
<<571>> and something so incredible that's
<<573>> involved in this process and it's
<<575>> actually our sense of smell do you know
<<577>> that our sense of smell is so important
<<580>> here for survival because how many times
<<583>> do you smell something perhaps before
<<585>> you hear it or you see it so very
<<588>> necessarily part of this structure of
<<590>> survival is our sense of smell and
<<593>> therefore entry into the lyic brain for
<<597>> Aroma is vital so straight through our
<<599>> nose up through what we call our
<<601>> olfactory system or olfactory bulbs
<<603>> which hey we already had the
<<604>> conversation earlier about receptor
<<606>> sites there our receptor sites in the
<<609>> system of our body where we receive odor
<<612>> molecules this sense has the greatest
<<614>> security clearance of any of our five
<<616>> senses that smells go directly to the
<<618>> brain to give us that immediate amount
<<620>> of information to function with to help
<<622>> us again survive and live and think and
<<625>> feel optimally so if we could really
<<628>> partner with this capacity to use Aromas
<<631>> as part of our learning do we understand
<<633>> the power of that let alone bringing in
<<636>> essential oils into our world because
<<639>> this is a beautiful thing messenger
<<641>> molecules come in two categories they
<<644>> are one what we call endogenous things
<<646>> that are manufactured inhouse endorphins
<<649>> is a perfect example of that it just
<<651>> means inside or internally made morphine
<<655>> but there's also what we call exogenous
<<656>> ligans and those are things that come
<<658>> from the outside
<<660>> and the Beautiful news is that essential
<<662>> oils are exogenous ligans they are
<<665>> messenger molecules so either by
<<667>> inhaling them and smelling them a very
<<669>> powerful way as we've already discovered
<<671>> to our affect to affect our emotions or
<<673>> we apply them to our skin diffuse them
<<676>> in our home or even use them internally
<<679>> we're bringing into our system a
<<682>> tremendous amount of new information
<<684>> that as it moves and circulates through
<<686>> the body it creates new intelligence and
<<688>> we have new int Ence we have new choices
<<691>> we have new capacity to respond so at
<<693>> the beginning we proposed could we in
<<695>> fact pick our mood or pick our attitude
<<697>> and what I'm in fact inviting you to
<<699>> discover right here and now is that by
<<701>> partnering with an essential oil and the
<<704>> power of aroma therapy you can in fact
<<707>> partner with your own chemistry and get
<<710>> in front of it and choose your moods and
<<712>> choose your attitudes so let's talk
<<714>> about some possibilities of what that
<<715>> can look like
<<719>> so we have this wonderful new kit called
<<721>> the emotional aroma therapy kit that
<<723>> consists of six different blends
<<726>> specifically formulated and created to
<<729>> work in conjunction with one another to
<<731>> create really a balanced cycle of
<<733>> possibilities for a variety of emotional
<<735>> states the wheel is kind of designed
<<737>> like a clock so if we look at the top of
<<739>> the clock the first oil that's featured
<<740>> there is a blend called motivate and the
<<743>> subtitle on the bottle is the
<<744>> encouraging blend so what is this for
<<747>> well have you ever found yourself in
<<749>> life feeling unmotivated H maybe timid
<<752>> maybe tired um maybe like hard to Rally
<<754>> yourself to the cause or like maybe
<<757>> you've been betrayed in the past by
<<759>> yourself or someone else and you're just
<<760>> like not really wanting to show up maybe
<<762>> you're sleep deprived I don't know well
<<764>> then reach for the motivate blend it's
<<766>> going to be marvelous for that now all
<<768>> of these emotional Blends are designed
<<769>> to be used topically or aromatically so
<<772>> how would you use your motivate blend
<<774>> well you'd simply you could put it on
<<776>> what we like to call our perfume points
<<778>> you know where we become the human
<<780>> diffuser and all day long we're smelling
<<782>> these amazing oils as they're
<<784>> dissipating in in the air around us
<<786>> perhaps you want to stick it in a
<<788>> diffuser at your desk perhaps while
<<790>> you're at your place of employment or
<<793>> maybe while your child is studying
<<795>> motivate might be just the partner to
<<798>> again bring in new information creating
<<800>> new intelligence in the body going hey
<<802>> I'm feeling more motivated I can rally
<<804>> myself to this cause I can do this so in
<<808>> conclusion when it comes to the motivate
<<809>> blend if you're feeling like you've got
<<811>> a little too much of feeling anxious or
<<813>> distressed or maybe apathetic or lacking
<<816>> confidence or maybe even gloomy that's
<<818>> the time to reach for your motivate
<<820>> blend and instead what you want to
<<822>> nurture right to bring in the influence
<<825>> you're creating in your body through the
<<826>> information of the messenger molecules
<<828>> through the aroma of the blend is going
<<831>> to be feelings of confidence and courage
<<833>> and belief and Trust you're going to
<<835>> notice as you look at the wheel that
<<837>> shows us all of these blends and their
<<839>> relationship that we also have plant
<<841>> families that are featured so in the
<<843>> motivate blend the plant families that
<<845>> are featured here are the citrus family
<<848>> and the mint family so when you smell
<<850>> peppermint for example how do you feel
<<852>> do you kind of go woo like that like it
<<854>> just wakes you up and then when you
<<856>> smell something like a citrus you're
<<858>> like oh life is happy so if we put
<<861>> together oh I'm awake and I'm happy do
<<863>> you see how that makes for a really
<<864>> great cause of I'm motivated so I want
<<867>> you to keep that thinking in mind as we
<<868>> go through a additional Blends our
<<870>> second emotional blend we want to take a
<<872>> look at is Cheer also known as the
<<874>> uplifting blend so now we've talked
<<876>> about plant families where does this one
<<878>> fall in in our will in this case it's a
<<880>> marriage between our Citrus and our
<<882>> spices so when we're going to want to
<<884>> reach for the cheer blend is when we're
<<886>> experiencing perhaps a little too much
<<888>> discouraged or gloomy or distressed or
<<892>> somber disinterested maybe even bored
<<895>> and instead we want to feel more
<<897>> optimism bright cheerful positive
<<901>> energetic that's a great time to bring
<<903>> our cheer in how would you use it you
<<905>> could diffuse it you could put it on
<<907>> your body topically the most important
<<909>> thing here with the emotional Blends is
<<912>> to smell them because remember trying to
<<913>> get to that amydala we're bringing new
<<916>> information and we're laying down new
<<917>> memory we're learning new things we're
<<919>> learning new ways of being okay our
<<921>> third blend I might have to say it's one
<<924>> of my favorites I actually love all of
<<926>> them but this particular one oh M speaks
<<930>> to me this one's called passion now this
<<932>> is a blend between two plant families
<<934>> the spice family and the herbs and grass
<<937>> family so a couple of the oils to
<<938>> highlight in this blend would be those
<<940>> spices that you know and love well which
<<942>> is cinnamon and ginger and clo and
<<945>> cardamom beautiful spices that all
<<947>> generate activity think about why would
<<950>> you choose something like cardamom in
<<952>> your life because it gets things moving
<<954>> right it's great for respiration it's
<<956>> great for digestion well it also can get
<<958>> us moving in life emotionally Ginger
<<960>> similar now along with that it's
<<962>> partnered with other amazing Aras like
<<964>> sandalwood and vanilla and maybe an herb
<<966>> that you're not familiar with known as
<<968>> damana also known for its amazing
<<971>> properties to well shall we say light
<<973>> the passion so whether it's emotionally
<<976>> needing to light yourself and rally
<<978>> yourself to a cause and be more
<<979>> passionate and show up and maybe be more
<<981>> Brave or willing to do something
<<983>> exciting because maybe you're feeling a
<<985>> little too somber or disinterested bored
<<988>> this discontent maybe even bordering on
<<990>> bitter or angry and instead you want to
<<992>> move to an emotional posture of feeling
<<994>> daring and excited and passionate and
<<997>> joyful this is the time to reach for
<<999>> your passion blend and again where are
<<1000>> you going to use it how are you going to
<<1001>> use it it's all about smelling it
<<1004>> topically diffuser in this case you
<<1006>> might want to look to to partnering with
<<1008>> a carrier oil because with cinnamon and
<<1010>> other spicy oils like clove there could
<<1013>> be a potential for a little sensitivity
<<1015>> and so you can simply add that to your
<<1018>> application methods if you choose to put
<<1019>> it on topically now for our fourth oil
<<1022>> as we're moving around our will now
<<1023>> we're down at the 6:00 part of our clock
<<1025>> we're at forgive and this particular
<<1028>> blend is a blend of not only those herbs
<<1030>> and grasses but also trees so you're
<<1032>> going to find a wonderful array of
<<1035>> ingredients in there one that's maybe uh
<<1037>> more of a surprise and an emotional
<<1039>> blend which is time oil and and time
<<1041>> plays a really significant role here in
<<1044>> making this a powerful emotional blend
<<1046>> as do the other partners in this
<<1048>> particular recipe so with our forgive
<<1050>> blend also known as our renewing blend
<<1053>> what have we focused on here so whenever
<<1056>> feeling maybe some discontentment
<<1058>> bitterness anger ashamed sad grieving
<<1062>> guilty or even judgment this is the time
<<1064>> to reach for the forgive blend and to
<<1066>> bring in more of an energy in your life
<<1068>> of feeling contented relieved charitable
<<1072>> patient accepting and even longsuffering
<<1075>> it's such a beautiful blend now as we
<<1077>> move around our clock and we're over to
<<1079>> around our 7 8:00 position we're now
<<1081>> looking at our console blend and this is
<<1083>> a beautiful marriage between the tree
<<1085>> family and the floral family so we start
<<1088>> to bring in some floral Aromas here I
<<1090>> bet for many of you the aroma of Y
<<1092>> langang for example is very
<<1094>> distinguishable and is definitely one of
<<1096>> the beautiful oils that you'll find in
<<1098>> this blend along with other favorite
<<1100>> Tree Oils so think about when we've gone
<<1103>> through something hard Something That
<<1105>> We're grieving we want to be consoled
<<1108>> and and therefore the name right console
<<1109>> or also comforted so it's our comforting
<<1111>> blend and what what are kind of the two
<<1114>> things you need emotionally in that way
<<1116>> one you maybe you need to be stabilized
<<1117>> or grounded maybe you need to retrust a
<<1119>> situation something traumatic happened
<<1122>> maybe there's a terrific loss and
<<1125>> sometimes it's hard for us to trust in
<<1126>> the process of life so we need to be
<<1128>> reground and stabilized and our Tri oils
<<1130>> bring in that energy but we also need to
<<1132>> be uplifted and we need to trust in you
<<1135>> know life unfolding and continuing to be
<<1137>> wonderful and and so the floral brings
<<1140>> in that Essence and that feeling so your
<<1143>> console blend is perfect for this so if
<<1144>> you're feeling perhaps ashamed sad
<<1147>> grieving hurt worried or fearful this is
<<1150>> the time to reach for console to instill
<<1152>> more of a sense of hopefulness perhaps
<<1154>> heal a broken heart uh to create that
<<1156>> healing in your life to feel boyed up
<<1159>> and and comforted as we talked about now
<<1161>> for our final Blend is we make our way
<<1163>> around the wheel we come to a blend
<<1165>> known as peace or also the reassuring
<<1167>> blend well well have you ever felt kind
<<1169>> of timid or scared or it's difficult to
<<1173>> face something um maybe not wanting to
<<1176>> be somewhere maybe wanting to kind of
<<1178>> like escape a situation or maybe even
<<1179>> escaping homework if it's a child or
<<1182>> hard to face a new day at work or
<<1184>> whatever the case can be oftentimes we
<<1186>> need to feel reassured we need to feel
<<1188>> peaceful and remember we talked about
<<1190>> with homeostasis the idea is that life
<<1193>> happens around us all the time there's
<<1195>> constantly things going on there's
<<1197>> always change but if we can constantly
<<1199>> seek this sense of balance and
<<1201>> equilibrium within ourselves this is
<<1204>> again where we get in front of our
<<1205>> attitude we get in front of our emotions
<<1207>> and our moods and we can be ready for
<<1209>> anything whether it's schoolwork or
<<1211>> being on stage in a play or giving a
<<1213>> presentation or facing a new job or
<<1216>> whatever the case may be this is the
<<1218>> time again to reach for this amazing
<<1220>> blend so whether it's feeling hurt
<<1221>> worried fearful anxious insecure or even
<<1224>> apathetic this is a great time to
<<1226>> instill more information and elligence
<<1229>> about being con about being composed
<<1232>> contented peaceful calm and reassured
<<1236>> and there you have our six emotional
<<1238>> Blends that belong to this emotional
<<1240>> aroma therapy family that dotera has
<<1242>> created for us so I want to leave you
<<1245>> empowered to think Beyond you know we've
<<1247>> talked about these great principles we
<<1249>> have other Blends in dotera we have
<<1251>> other single oils so I bet you want to
<<1253>> know well could I continue to apply
<<1255>> these principles with other oils the
<<1257>> answer is absolutely Ely since the
<<1260>> beginning DOA has had four additional
<<1262>> emotional Blends that have been our
<<1264>> Staples and for many of us our best
<<1266>> friends for years so I want to remind
<<1268>> you that we have a blend called balance
<<1269>> it's very much a tree oil focus and it's
<<1272>> there to help us feel grounded and
<<1274>> stabilized in our lives we have a blend
<<1275>> called Citrus Bliss got to love the name
<<1278>> right we already talked about how our
<<1279>> Bliss is hardwired because it's a
<<1281>> marriage between our physiology and our
<<1284>> emotions and there's nothing better than
<<1285>> Citrus Bliss to bring in that feeling of
<<1288>> euphor
<<1289>> or uplifting or cheerful it's such a
<<1291>> great and we call it our invigorating
<<1293>> blend we also have Serenity just the
<<1295>> word itself reveals the blend right it's
<<1297>> to help bring in a more Serene more
<<1299>> peaceful feeling so whether it's wanting
<<1301>> to get a better night's sleep or
<<1303>> remaining in that state of mind during
<<1304>> our day it's a perfect partner and
<<1306>> lastly our final member of our emotional
<<1309>> aroma therapy family is elevation what a
<<1312>> beautiful blend of amazing oils such as
<<1315>> Melissa and citruses and things that
<<1317>> come in and you you're start to learn
<<1319>> about these plant families and how they
<<1320>> come together and create this magic and
<<1322>> we call this our joyful blend because we
<<1324>> all want to experience a greater State
<<1327>> and a sense of joy in our lives so I
<<1329>> encourage you to create perhaps some
<<1332>> sort of a collection for yourself I have
<<1333>> a special little kit where I keep all 10
<<1336>> of my emotional oils and they come with
<<1339>> me when I want more of that type of
<<1341>> energy in my life they sit by my bed
<<1343>> every night and every morning I reach
<<1345>> for my emotional oils because I am doing
<<1348>> exactly what I I've suggested I'm
<<1349>> picking my attitude I'm picking my
<<1351>> feelings or my emotions right out of the
<<1353>> gates I'm not waiting for life to tell
<<1355>> me how to feel I'm deciding how to feel
<<1356>> about life so before I go to bed I'll
<<1359>> usually choose one or two blends to put
<<1361>> on to maybe address what the day was
<<1363>> like and how I want to feel when I wake
<<1364>> up and when I wake up in the morning I
<<1366>> choose it kind of like a perfume right
<<1368>> how I want to feel for the day what sort
<<1370>> of mood am I in or what sort of mood do
<<1371>> I want to be in knowing what's coming
<<1373>> and so I just want to invite you to have
<<1374>> so much fun using your emotional Blends
<<1377>> now lastly let's talk about our single
<<1379>> oils and what would we do with them
<<1381>> because well in some ways they almost
<<1383>> seem more complex because we don't have
<<1385>> as much of a personality or a name
<<1387>> assigned to them we just know them by
<<1389>> their plant family so I want to empower
<<1392>> and invite you to start using some
<<1394>> obvious things that are available to you
<<1396>> to where you can learn how they're going
<<1398>> to serve you emotionally so for example
<<1401>> let's say you want to feel more soothed
<<1404>> or more calm is there a single o you can
<<1406>> think of that might actually bring that
<<1407>> energy to you I bet you all thought of
<<1409>> lavender right so I like to think of
<<1411>> lavender as all things calming like
<<1413>> anything that's gone ay I'm going to
<<1415>> reach for my lavender and that's going
<<1417>> to include a mood so if it has
<<1418>> properties that are soothing and calming
<<1420>> well by all means it's certainly going
<<1422>> to play that way with you emotionally if
<<1425>> an oil is um
<<1427>> renewing for example frankincense is
<<1430>> considered to be very renewing all the
<<1432>> way down to a cellular level and you're
<<1434>> feeling like gosh I need more of a
<<1435>> renewing energy in my life I feel like
<<1437>> my Tank's going empty and it's not
<<1438>> getting refilled well then reaching for
<<1441>> a frankincense every day that consists
<<1443>> uh you know it's primary or our largest
<<1445>> ingredient falls into the monot turpine
<<1447>> family so learn more about your
<<1450>> essential oil chemistry and the fact
<<1452>> that monot Turpin have a renewing
<<1455>> capacity and so anytime I want more
<<1457>> renewing energy in my life then I'm
<<1459>> going to reach for an oil that brings in
<<1460>> that kind of energy now do you ever feel
<<1463>> unsafe sometimes like maybe a little
<<1465>> naked and you want to have a little bit
<<1467>> more coverage or prot protetion well
<<1469>> often times it's really easy for us to
<<1471>> think about with our immunity like I
<<1473>> want to support my immunity so I've got
<<1474>> my my shields on all day every day right
<<1477>> I'm feeling protected from from things
<<1479>> in my environment from any environmental
<<1481>> threats but do we think about protecting
<<1483>> ourselves emotionally or we may also
<<1485>> feel threatened in that way so by
<<1487>> partnering with oils that are prickly
<<1489>> like a cinnamon or a clove they help to
<<1492>> provide an emotional barrier for us and
<<1494>> they help us have more of a sense of
<<1496>> protection in fact if I could just teach
<<1498>> you a little bit more about cinnamon for
<<1499>> an example it's a bark so I want you to
<<1502>> think of it as a bark you know that you
<<1503>> wrap around yourself and it's kind of
<<1505>> like a blanket just like it's wrapped
<<1507>> around the tree and on the outside it's
<<1509>> prickly so anything that comes up that's
<<1511>> unsafe it kind of protects you from that
<<1513>> because you're inside of that energy
<<1516>> you're relaxing and you're willing to be
<<1518>> more vulnerable so that would explain
<<1520>> why cinnamon would be in a blend known
<<1521>> as passion to where we maybe want to
<<1523>> Rally ourselves to not only being more
<<1525>> inspired and and passionate in life but
<<1527>> what if we want want to feel more
<<1529>> vulnerable and passionate in an intimate
<<1531>> relationship that's why cinnamon is such
<<1534>> an incredible aphrodesiac because of the
<<1536>> energy that it brings so I want you to
<<1537>> start thinking this way whereas you
<<1539>> consider your single oils it's really
<<1542>> pretty easy to figure them out
<<1543>> emotionally by just remembering what
<<1545>> they do physically and they just can't
<<1547>> help themselves but rally themselves to
<<1549>> the same cause for you emotionally so I
<<1551>> want to invite you to have fun and to
<<1554>> explore and to get into considering you
<<1557>> know how could this o benefit me just
<<1559>> not in my physiology because I'm
<<1561>> learning my physiology is a response but
<<1564>> how can it benefit me in my my my
<<1567>> psychology my thinking my feeling and
<<1569>> what I believe to be true and how can I
<<1571>> bring in new information into my body by
<<1573>> bringing in exogenous lians or in other
<<1576>> words external messenger molecules that
<<1579>> can immediately bring into my body new
<<1582>> information and what's so beautiful
<<1584>> about an essential oil is their
<<1586>> permeability
<<1588>> or their ability to permeate barriers
<<1590>> anywhere in the body and how fast they
<<1592>> can circulate and literally in a matter
<<1594>> of seconds those oils are making contact
<<1597>> not only with organs and body parts
<<1600>> they're making contact with your cells
<<1602>> and so every cell of your body which is
<<1604>> of course where the receptor cells are
<<1607>> are receiving this information rapidly
<<1609>> and every cell of the body is getting a
<<1610>> new information and supporting you in
<<1613>> creating again an attitude of I can be
<<1615>> ready for anything because what's going
<<1617>> on inside of me is homeostasis I'm able
<<1619>> to maintain a sense of well-being
<<1622>> because constantly my body because it's
<<1624>> so supplied with information and
<<1626>> therefore intelligence is able to
<<1629>> navigate and move gracefully through the
<<1631>> waters of life because I'm not so ill
<<1633>> prepared that I'm coming in more
<<1635>> reactive I'm coming in prepared so again
<<1639>> I can choose my response so I invite you
<<1642>> to make new habits to form new beliefs
<<1645>> and to choose your chemistry and
<<1646>> therefore choose your mood which
<<1648>> therefore dictates how you feel and how
<<1650>> you believe about life it's been such a
<<1652>> pleasure to be with you and share with
<<1654>> you something that is so dear to my
<<1656>> heart and I hope it not only blesses
<<1658>> your life but you won't be able to keep
<<1660>> it to yourself and you'll take it out
<<1662>> and you'll spread that message to your
<<1664>> world whatever that is because it
<<1665>> deserves to be shouted from the rooftops
