<<365>> record rainfalls caused severe flooding

<<368>> in parts of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

<<370>> And deadly flash floods claimed many lives,

<<373>> displaced thousands of families

<<375>> and left many without access to drinking water,

<<378>> electricity and gas.

<<380>> The funds collected through the purchase

<<382>> of Rose Hand Lotion allowed us to help immediately

<<386>> and donate 60,000 € to nonprofits on the ground

<<390>> in those affected areas.

<<393>> In addition to that,

<<394>> Helping Touch, a nonprofit organisation founded and managed

<<398>> by European Wellness Advocates Leaders

<<402>> recently collected 18,000 € in a fundraiser

<<406>> to help the flood victims,

<<407>> and they did this in less than two weeks.

<<419>> of our Leaders working together to help people in need.

<<424>> dōTERRA Europe also donated and distributed

<<426>> over 100 care packages to Wellness Advocates,

<<430>> and Wholesale Customers

<<431>> who were directly impacted by the disaster.

<<434>> And we just recently expanded this outreach programme

<<438>> to those affected by the volcano eruption

<<441>> on the Island of La Palma.

<<443>> Early this year, dōTERRA announced

<<445>> its new Cō-Impact Sourcing project in Moldova.

<<449>> This project aims to harness

<<451>> the country's perfect conditions to grow aromatic plants

<<454>> while creating positive economic and social impact

<<458>> in the region.

<<459>> During Stronger Together Europe Connection,

<<461>> dōTERRA asked its audience to donate

<<464>> with a goal of raising 10,000 €

<<467>> to pay for a clean water project for a childcare centre

<<471>> in a remote area of Moldova.

<<473>> The response was overwhelming

<<475>> and resulted in donations of over 22,000 €.

<<480>> However, as we were planning

<<482>> to actually start the project,

<<485>> the government had stepped in

<<486>> and installed the new water purification system.

<<489>> Now this was unexpected,

<<490>> but it ended up being great news

<<492>> for the local community of Nicolaevca.

<<497>> in two new projects.

<<499>> One is the new football field for the children's centre,

<<502>> and the other one is installation of street lighting

<<505>> in the neighbourhood

<<507>> children walk home from school in the dark.

<<518>> In May of this year,

<<520>> dōTERRA opened the Sanaag Specialty Hospital

<<524>> located in Erigavo,

<<525>> the heart of Somaliland's frankincense

<<528>> resin harvesting region.

<<530>> Prior to its opening,

<<532>> many did not have any healthcare access

<<535>> because they could not travel over 12 hours

<<538>> to reach medical help.

<<540>> This full service hospital includes paediatric care,

<<544>> pharmacy service and community outreach services

<<547>> among other medical care.

<<549>> This first-class facility allows us

<<552>> to face the region's high infant and child mortality rate.

<<556>> It is overwhelming to think

<<558>> that within the first two months,

<<560>> the hospital treated 2,478 outpatients,

<<566>> completed 403 x-rays and 107 ultrasounds

<<570>> and performed 25 critical surgeries.
