<<60>> hello all my european friends and

<<63>> welcome to

<<64>> purity is our legacy when i look back on

<<67>> doterra's legacy i have to

<<68>> of course think a lot about the early

<<70>> days and europe was a big

<<72>> part of those early days back then we

<<74>> knew about the power of essential oils

<<76>> but we were also very much aware of the

<<79>> adulteration that was commonplace in the

<<81>> sensual market

<<83>> really no one was selling 100 pure

<<85>> essential oils and instead the market

<<87>> was

<<88>> generally flooded with companies who

<<90>> focused on profit

<<91>> and and not necessarily purity

<<94>> while sourcing pure essential oils is

<<96>> not the easiest route to take

<<98>> we knew it was the route that we had to

<<101>> take

<<101>> and we also knew that we had to be

<<103>> different we wanted to introduce

<<105>> essential oils to every household every

<<107>> family

<<108>> we knew that they deserved the very best

<<110>> quality essential oils that

<<112>> could be had and this is what we set out

<<115>> to do

<<116>> so in today's event you're going to have

<<118>> the opportunity to hear

<<119>> about why quality essential oils and the

<<122>> steps that doterra takes to ensure that

<<124>> essential

<<125>> quality and and what we do to produce

<<128>> those pure oils

<<130>> is so important to us you know we

<<133>> have to source them in a sustainable

<<135>> manner we have to do it in a way

<<137>> that empowers the communities that we

<<139>> serve and of course there's nothing like

<<142>> seeing the impact doterra's sourcing

<<144>> practices in person

<<146>> i feel very fortunate to have been able

<<149>> to travel to so many different locations

<<152>> where we have our co-impact sourcing

<<155>> projects around the world

<<156>> nothing compares to being there in

<<160>> person to speaking directly with these

<<162>> farmers and harvesters and

<<164>> just recently i returned from somaliland

<<167>> where of course we we source most of our

<<170>> frankincense essential oil

<<172>> and i was out there not only visiting

<<175>> the harvesting villages where our

<<177>> frankincense is harvested

<<178>> up in the mountains usually far far away

<<181>> from

<<182>> any civilization but i also

<<185>> was there for the grand opening of our

<<188>> new hospital that we've been building up

<<190>> there for the last four years

<<191>> i'm not going to say much about that

<<193>> today

<<194>> because we're going to talk a lot more

<<196>> about that in

<<198>> in less than two months now at our

<<200>> global convention

<<201>> but i just want to say it is truly a

<<204>> miracle

<<205>> the results that are happening with that

<<206>> hospital are fantastic and amazing

<<209>> i i hope that people understand that

<<212>> when they buy

<<213>> a bottle of frankincense they are

<<216>> absolutely

<<217>> and directly contributing to that

<<220>> hospital

<<221>> for example and the more than 2

<<224>> 000 people that it served in its very

<<226>> first month of operation

<<228>> i hope you see that in every other

<<230>> bottle of essential oil each bottle of

<<231>> central has a similar story to that

<<234>> so we want you to be able to

<<237>> be out there and to experience these for

<<239>> yourselves and

<<240>> we look forward to that i know i've

<<242>> heard countless

<<243>> stories and experiences from our our

<<246>> leaders and other wellness advocates

<<248>> who have been on these sourcing trips

<<249>> and who experienced this and have

<<251>> experienced this legacy

<<253>> and it generally changes their life

<<255>> forever

<<256>> so later today we have some exciting

<<259>> news about how

<<260>> even more of you will be able to visit

<<262>> some of these locations and meet

<<264>> our inspirational growers so i hope that

<<267>> you're inspired

<<268>> and excited by today's event and more

<<271>> than that i hope that we'll be able to

<<273>> meet again in person soon there's

<<276>> nothing quite like that

<<278>> and we look forward to gathering you

<<279>> with you again

<<281>> in the future hopefully very very soon

<<284>> thanks so much

<<285>> and and look forward to seeing all of

<<287>> you again thank you

<<297>> [Music]

<<299>> it is just amazing to see

<<302>> in person and on the ground

<<305>> how do terra is working with the farmers

<<308>> and to see the distilleries and the labs

<<313>> on the ground and i love to be on

<<317>> those trips and i would like to

<<320>> take my whole team into our suitcase to

<<323>> show

<<323>> everyone because it's so amazing to see

<<327>> it's real and i'm very excited about

<<331>> this

<<332>> great quality and also

<<336>> to talk to the people who make this

<<338>> happen

<<339>> i recommend to all of you just

<<342>> um go on these trips because this makes

<<346>> you so confident

<<348>> knowing and learning um about the

<<350>> reality

<<352>> of sourcing and producing these quality

<<356>> of the oils so you can

<<359>> boldly share with everyone it gives you

<<362>> so much confidence

<<364>> and i just can say be on the next trip

<<381>> millions of people globally have come to

<<383>> rely upon essential oils for their

<<386>> beneficial effects

<<387>> used consistently essential oils support

<<390>> the healthy function of body systems

<<392>> and help maintain a state of homeostasis

<<395>> because of their popularity many new

<<398>> companies have sought to capitalize

<<401>> on market trends and sell essential oils

<<405>> unfortunately there is a myth that all

<<407>> essential oils are created equal

<<410>> that the lavender you buy online or in

<<412>> your local grocery store

<<415>> is the same quality as doterra essential

<<418>> oils

<<419>> but this couldn't be further from the

<<421>> truth doterra isn't just the largest

<<424>> essential oil company in the world

<<426>> doterra essential oils are the most

<<428>> tested

<<429>> and trusted brand of essential oils as

<<432>> well

<<433>> quite frankly we aren't comparing apples

<<435>> to apples when we compare doterra

<<438>> to store-bought essential oils no when

<<441>> people compare

<<442>> doterra essential oils to other brands

<<446>> we're often comparing apples to a durian

<<450>> the problem is that the quality and

<<452>> purity of essential oil

<<454>> determines whether an essential oil

<<457>> provides beneficial responses in the

<<459>> body

<<460>> and the majority of these upstart

<<462>> companies are poorly

<<464>> qualified to determine essential oil

<<466>> quality

<<467>> and purity what is the answer to this

<<470>> problem of adulterated and poor quality

<<472>> essential oils

<<474>> flooding the market today the answer

<<477>> is meticulous testing testing and purity

<<481>> go hand in hand and purity is the most

<<484>> important characteristic

<<486>> of an essential oil closely followed by

<<489>> composition

<<490>> if an essential oil isn't pure you run

<<492>> the risk of germs

<<494>> heavy metals or adulterants entering

<<497>> your body

<<498>> which can provoke adverse reactions such

<<501>> as irritation

<<502>> and even sickness doterra's

<<505>> industry-leading cptg

<<507>> testing process involves a series of

<<510>> tests

<<511>> and meticulous protocols to ensure

<<513>> purity

<<515>> potency and consistency batch to batch

<<520>> combined with our unique sourcing model

<<522>> called co-impact sourcing

<<524>> the cptg process safeguards each bottle

<<528>> of doterra essential oils you use

<<531>> against added fillers

<<532>> synthetic ingredients and harmful

<<535>> contaminants

<<536>> i think it's important to call out the

<<538>> co-impact sourcing process here

<<541>> the quality and composition of an

<<543>> essential oil

<<544>> is dependent on intrinsic and extrinsic

<<548>> factors as the plant grows

<<551>> a plant's essential oil composition

<<553>> continually adapts to the plant's

<<555>> internal

<<556>> and external environment the plant

<<558>> creates essential oils as secondary

<<561>> metabolites

<<562>> when they are needed to defend the plant

<<565>> against predators or pathogens

<<567>> aid tissue healing processes attract

<<570>> pollinators

<<571>> or participate in plant-to-plant

<<573>> communication

<<575>> our co-impact sourcing strategy gives us

<<578>> visibility

<<579>> at all aspects of the plant cycle from

<<582>> seed selection to planting

<<584>> cultivation to harvesting and everything

<<587>> in between

<<588>> co-impact sourcing allows us to control

<<591>> for important factors

<<592>> that lead to quality and to partner with

<<595>> local experts

<<596>> to produce the highest quality essential

<<599>> oils in the world

<<602>> once the plant is harvested care is

<<604>> taken to preserve plant integrity

<<606>> and essential oil quality until it is

<<608>> extracted

<<609>> from the botanical material distillation

<<612>> and extraction of aromatic molecules is

<<615>> both an art

<<616>> and a science and doterra leverages

<<619>> years of experience

<<621>> and modern technologies and techniques

<<623>> to produce the best essential oils you

<<625>> can buy

<<627>> in addition to ensuring purity the cptg

<<630>> process evaluates the chemical

<<633>> composition of essential oils

<<635>> to make sure that the ideal ratio

<<638>> of volatile organic compounds are

<<640>> present

<<641>> for maximum efficacy and reliable

<<645>> results

<<647>> for example we don't simply want to know

<<649>> that linole

<<650>> and linolel acetate are present in

<<652>> lavender essential oil

<<654>> but how much of each are present in the

<<657>> oil

<<658>> and what ratio in comparison to each

<<661>> other they are

<<661>> present within the oil determining this

<<665>> and comparing constituent amounts and

<<667>> ratios

<<668>> to an established standard helps confirm

<<672>> that you will get the intended results

<<674>> from using doterra lavender essential

<<677>> oil

<<677>> or any other doterra oil for that matter

<<681>> chemistry is the foundation of pure

<<684>> high quality essential oils the cptg

<<688>> process doesn't use one single test

<<691>> rather it leverages several tests

<<693>> layered one on top of another

<<696>> to identify its chemical composition

<<699>> physical properties

<<700>> and rule out impurities and adulterants

<<703>> in each essential oil versus astringent

<<707>> standard

<<708>> of great importance is the database the

<<710>> essential oils are tested against

<<713>> quality and purity standards should be

<<715>> established from scientifically

<<716>> validated standards

<<718>> pharmacopeia standards peer-reviewed

<<720>> research publications

<<722>> and a database created from the

<<724>> evaluation

<<725>> and testing of thousands of essential

<<728>> oil samples

<<730>> then a qualified and experienced chemist

<<733>> must review the results recently the

<<736>> national center for natural

<<738>> products research compared authentic

<<741>> lavender essential oil samples to

<<743>> commercial samples

<<744>> and concluded that from 25

<<748>> to 90 percent of commercial lavender

<<750>> essential oil samples

<<752>> are adulterated either with cheaper

<<755>> substitutes

<<756>> or the addition of synthetic chemicals

<<759>> similarly a recent report by the

<<762>> american botanical council found that

<<764>> about half of 43 commercial tea tree

<<766>> essential oil samples

<<768>> tested in three analytical laboratories

<<771>> did not meet the chemical composition of

<<774>> authentic tea tree oil with doterra

<<778>> you don't need to worry about this our

<<780>> cptg

<<782>> process ensures that you get pure

<<784>> natural

<<785>> and authentic essential oils in every

<<788>> bottle

<<789>> you can use doterra essential oils with

<<791>> confidence

<<792>> and an understanding that your body will

<<795>> positively respond to their purity

<<799>> and potency

<<801>> [Music]

<<808>> hi my name is martin o'sullivan and i'm

<<810>> the manufacturing manager here in

<<812>> doterra

<<812>> in ireland and i'd like to introduce you

<<815>> to one of our senior chemists on site

<<816>> colleen kelly

<<817>> hi martin it's great to be here today so

<<820>> for those of you who are unaware of the

<<822>> carc facility opened in october 2020 and

<<825>> by the end of 2021 our aim is to supply

<<827>> over 90 different oils to the european

<<829>> market

<<830>> however it's not just a manufacturing

<<832>> facility we have in ireland

<<833>> we also have a quality control lab which

<<835>> is a very important aspect of what we do

<<837>> esl martin we actually have a

<<839>> state-of-the-art lab here on site and

<<841>> it's split up into two different labs so

<<843>> we have a chemistry lab and a

<<844>> microbiology lab we do testing on all

<<847>> oils that come here on-site so from raw

<<849>> materials when they first come in to if

<<850>> they need blend and refined

<<852>> and all the way through to our finished

<<854>> products this ensures the

<<856>> purity of the oil throughout its whole

<<857>> life cycle we do a wide range of testing

<<860>> here on site

<<861>> we do analytical tests they include hblc

<<863>> gz

<<864>> and icp we use a mass detector on all of

<<867>> them so it just increases our

<<868>> sensitivity in our results

<<870>> we then have concentration and purity

<<871>> tests these include refractive index

<<874>> optical rotation and specific gravity

<<876>> and then we do our ig

<<877>> tests so that'll be ftir and

<<879>> organoleptics and i'm going to talk you

<<880>> through them

<<884>> so for organoleptics it's split up into

<<886>> three different tests

<<888>> so we have appearance colour and odour

<<890>> we have two oils here

<<891>> and i've masked the labels on them and

<<895>> because i've

<<895>> there's one commercially bought oil that

<<897>> we got online and then there's one of

<<898>> our own

<<899>> and doterra oils okay so the first test

<<901>> we'll do is appearance

<<903>> the idea is we have specs for for all of

<<905>> our oils

<<906>> and so for this particular oil the specs

<<909>> is that it should be

<<910>> um semi-opaque mobile liquid so the

<<913>> first thing to do is if you take it out

<<915>> of the the holder here and we put it

<<917>> against a white

<<918>> and tissue paper just ensure that

<<920>> there's nothing effecting the color yeah

<<921>> yeah

<<922>> so it's clear semi-opaque and it is

<<925>> quite viscous

<<926>> so the the color then and is the next

<<928>> one so

<<929>> for the color for this on the speck so

<<931>> that it should be colorless to light

<<933>> yellow

<<934>> and so it looks like it's it's very very

<<937>> light yellow

<<938>> yeah and then the next one is odor so

<<941>> smell which is one of the most important

<<942>> ones

<<943>> so what we do is we lift it towards our

<<945>> nose

<<947>> and see if it's oil so it's quite soft

<<951>> yeah and it lingers and like as i put it

<<954>> away i can still smell it

<<956>> in my palette okay that makes sense yeah

<<958>> no yeah that's good

<<960>> and so i won't say anything until you

<<962>> compare it against the other oil

<<963>> and this is sample b yeah

<<967>> so again so for appearance you want it

<<970>> to be semi-paved mobile liquid

<<972>> and looks very similar to the first

<<974>> sample it's semi-opaque it's mobile

<<977>> perfect and then color-wise is it

<<980>> similar again it is slightly lighter

<<984>> but very similar okay and and then

<<987>> smell so again if you just flip it

<<989>> towards your nose

<<991>> so that's quite sharp and intense yeah

<<994>> but it disappears it dissipates very

<<996>> quickly as if it's gone

<<997>> yeah so if you put the two together

<<1000>> there and just so you can see the

<<1001>> difference

<<1002>> side-by-side i suppose on the the color

<<1005>> and semi-big mobile electric so the

<<1009>> sample here on my

<<1010>> right is slightly darker bought or

<<1012>> mobile

<<1013>> yeah so i suppose this is kind of one of

<<1015>> the main indications

<<1016>> for if an oil is synthetic are natural

<<1019>> so they both look very similar but the

<<1021>> main difference is the older

<<1023>> so with the natural product and the oils

<<1025>> tend to be

<<1026>> a bit softer when you first reach it to

<<1029>> the nose

<<1030>> and then the the oil lingers the smell

<<1032>> lingers on your nose for for an extended

<<1034>> period of time afterwards

<<1036>> whereas with the synthetic oil it's a

<<1037>> very sharp intense smell that you you

<<1039>> get straight away

<<1041>> but it's gone nearly as quickly as it

<<1042>> comes so and that's one of the main

<<1044>> differences between a synthetic oil and

<<1046>> a natural oil

<<1047>> it looks visually the same so without

<<1049>> that level of testing it's hard to tell

<<1051>> the difference of which is real and pure

<<1052>> and which is synthetic and manufactured

<<1058>> [Music]

<<1060>> following on from the organoleptics test

<<1062>> the next test we do is ftir

<<1064>> molecular compound identification and

<<1066>> quantification in simple terms that just

<<1068>> means that it's an identity test

<<1070>> like a fingerprint yeah very like a

<<1072>> fingerprint exactly so what happens is

<<1074>> you have

<<1074>> an instrument you put your oil onto the

<<1076>> prism an infrared light passes through

<<1078>> that oil and hits the detector and then

<<1080>> it creates a unique fingerprint spectra

<<1082>> for that component so each of your

<<1084>> different components in the oil will

<<1085>> have its own fingerprint

<<1087>> spectra and that's how we tell which oil

<<1089>> is pure which oil does not

<<1091>> yeah so you'll know and for all of our

<<1093>> oils we have standards for them

<<1094>> so when we get um for instance the

<<1096>> lavender we have a standard on site

<<1098>> the lavender oil sample has to match our

<<1101>> standards to 95

<<1103>> or greater and so i actually ran these

<<1105>> two oils on the fdir

<<1107>> the results that came back so for our

<<1109>> lavender oil for the doterra oil came

<<1111>> back as 99

<<1113>> the way that we bought out a house

<<1114>> didn't come back as a lavender mat

<<1116>> at all even though we did buy a lavender

<<1118>> oil did buy lavender oil yeah that's

<<1120>> interesting um

<<1121>> it didn't match at all with our lavender

<<1123>> which is which is very unusual because

<<1125>> only one oil was detected and that was

<<1127>> actually a blend so

<<1129>> what it's suggesting is that the oil is

<<1131>> made up of a combination of different

<<1132>> things as opposed to just your single

<<1134>> lavender

<<1135>> very interesting yeah it's good so you

<<1137>> can tell that by

<<1138>> by the different spectras and the peaks

<<1139>> they're all identifying for them

<<1141>> [Music]

<<1147>> after finding out that the oil wasn't

<<1149>> what we expected it to be the next test

<<1151>> would be

<<1151>> gc mass spec so gc is short for gas

<<1154>> chromatography

<<1155>> gc mass spec what it does is that it

<<1157>> separates components out of your sample

<<1159>> and identifies them

<<1160>> so now we know that it's not aligned our

<<1162>> oil isn't aligned with our lavender

<<1164>> standard

<<1164>> so what the next thing to do is to find

<<1166>> out exactly what the components are that

<<1168>> are

<<1168>> in that oil okay and so with gc what's

<<1170>> involved is there's two different stages

<<1172>> so you have your stationary phase and

<<1173>> you have your mobile phase your

<<1175>> stationary phase is your column

<<1176>> and then your your mobile phase is your

<<1179>> gas so for

<<1180>> the instance of this test we use helium

<<1182>> and what it does is you inject your

<<1183>> sample onto the column

<<1185>> the gas then moves the sample through

<<1187>> your column and then on to your detector

<<1189>> and then your detector then gives you a

<<1190>> cromash grammar spectra

<<1192>> for that so these are the two results we

<<1194>> got for the

<<1196>> the two oils okay these peaks are all

<<1198>> the components that are within the oils

<<1200>> there's one big peak that's not in the

<<1202>> other peak this peak

<<1203>> is isopropyl myers8 so that's actually

<<1206>> in your synthetic oil it's not in our

<<1208>> natural oil

<<1209>> and and that's a big indicator as to

<<1212>> know whether

<<1212>> a an oil is natural or synthetic or

<<1215>> chemically modified

<<1216>> what isopropyl myers-8 is is it's an

<<1218>> ester of isopropyl alcohol

<<1220>> and that's used widely in cosmetics and

<<1223>> also in

<<1223>> medicinal like topical solutions where

<<1226>> the desire is for skin absorption

<<1228>> so it's it's chemically added to this

<<1231>> and as you can see it makes up a massive

<<1233>> proportion i suppose with the synthetic

<<1235>> oil

<<1236>> you're buying 40 percent of an alcohol

<<1239>> as opposed to your lavender oil whereas

<<1240>> with ours we don't have that added at

<<1242>> all because obviously it's 100 natural

<<1244>> why do we do recess why is quality

<<1246>> control so important it's very important

<<1248>> to um

<<1249>> any successful business quality control

<<1251>> and it ensures that the products that we

<<1252>> give to our customers they

<<1254>> meet and even exceed their expectations

<<1256>> and quality control tests are there to

<<1258>> ensure safety efficacy

<<1260>> that gives us the confidence to know

<<1261>> that the oils and the products that

<<1263>> we're giving to our customers

<<1264>> are the highest and best quality out

<<1266>> there and that's something that we're

<<1268>> very proud of here in doterra

<<1269>> well colleen i must say thank you it's

<<1271>> been very useful to have you explain

<<1272>> this as a senior chemist on site

<<1274>> and just explain some of the testing

<<1276>> that takes place why we do it and

<<1278>> what it means to not only us but our

<<1279>> customers out in the field

<<1289>> [Music]

<<1295>> i would recommend to everybody

<<1299>> if there's any chance to go on an

<<1301>> incentive trip

<<1302>> because because it's like having

<<1305>> children

<<1306>> and you can understand everything in

<<1308>> theory

<<1309>> but experiencing it in reality

<<1314>> is much more intense and gives you

<<1319>> even more trust in the oils and in

<<1323>> doterra and in

<<1324>> everything and you can learn something

<<1327>> we when we saw the distilleries we

<<1330>> saw all the details how they prepare the

<<1332>> raw material

<<1334>> how they put it in the bottles how they

<<1336>> test it and so on and so on so

<<1338>> that was really was really really good

<<1341>> and believe me

<<1342>> it smells amazing do you remember the

<<1345>> green mandarin

<<1346>> yes or melissa in bulgaria that was

<<1349>> [Music]

<<1358>> amazing

<<1360>> hello we are happy to be here with you

<<1362>> to talk about sourcing

<<1364>> co-impact sourcing uh the healing hands

<<1367>> work that is done globally and

<<1369>> especially in the europe region

<<1371>> and how all of these build a legacy

<<1374>> for everything that doterra has been

<<1376>> doing and will continue to do moving

<<1378>> forward

<<1378>> my name is tim valentiner i'm the vice

<<1381>> president of global strategic sourcing

<<1383>> for doterra

<<1384>> and i'm very grateful to be joined here

<<1386>> today

<<1387>> with sheldon wardwell who is a key

<<1390>> member of our sourcing team and based in

<<1392>> europe sheldon do you want to introduce

<<1394>> yourself

<<1395>> sure thanks tim happy to be here with

<<1398>> all of you guys

<<1399>> and happy to be here with you tim my

<<1402>> name is sheldon

<<1403>> i'm the sourcing manager uh responsible

<<1406>> for overseeing

<<1407>> eastern europe and north africa thanks

<<1410>> sheldon uh

<<1411>> i mean the the owners of doterra as we

<<1415>> know

<<1415>> have set up an incredible foundation

<<1418>> base

<<1418>> for what they envisioned doterra to

<<1421>> become

<<1422>> and i think it's exceeded even probably

<<1424>> their initial expectations

<<1426>> uh and a lot of this is bringing the

<<1428>> gifts of the earth the power

<<1430>> and potency of essential oils uh to

<<1433>> every single home around the world and a

<<1436>> big part of

<<1438>> bringing those gifts of the earth to

<<1439>> people's homes is through

<<1441>> sharing them in the model that they've

<<1443>> created but also

<<1445>> [Music]

<<1447>> being deliberate in how and where we

<<1449>> source

<<1450>> our oils and the raw materials that go

<<1452>> in to create these

<<1453>> incredible products how have you seen

<<1455>> the sourcing guiding principles be

<<1457>> applied

<<1458>> in practice in in some of the supply

<<1461>> chains you manage

<<1462>> sure so as i mentioned before i'm

<<1465>> overseeing the sourcing from the

<<1467>> siberian forest

<<1469>> pretty much down down to greece and

<<1471>> north africa

<<1473>> with the exception of albania and

<<1476>> bulgaria

<<1477>> for me legacy is really important and

<<1481>> and helping to work to make the world a

<<1484>> better place

<<1485>> and to help build a more

<<1489>> inclusive agriculture system in these

<<1492>> in these countries i think of my job as

<<1496>> a sourcing manager

<<1497>> more as a development worker a

<<1500>> sustainable development worker

<<1502>> to give some examples of of our approach

<<1506>> um when i first started back in 2017 i

<<1511>> went up to siberia

<<1512>> and i went you know 800 kilometers into

<<1515>> the siberian forest

<<1517>> where we got to meet dozens of uh

<<1520>> small scale uh they they're called

<<1523>> pictivars

<<1524>> like uh i think the translation is

<<1527>> siberian fur needle cookers

<<1530>> and they they're spanning across

<<1533>> hundreds of

<<1534>> miles in the siberian forest

<<1537>> where there's very little livelihood

<<1539>> opportunities

<<1541>> and they told me that they've never seen

<<1545>> a purchaser

<<1547>> up in the those parts and i would just

<<1550>> say

<<1550>> you know in addition to the thousands of

<<1553>> livelihood opportunities that we create

<<1555>> for people

<<1557>> that um just having the personal

<<1560>> relationship

<<1561>> and and being there on the on the ground

<<1564>> and

<<1564>> um developing and nurturing that that

<<1567>> relationship

<<1568>> goes a long ways yeah absolutely i think

<<1571>> a big part like you said

<<1572>> of the legacy is really trying to

<<1577>> develop these meaningful relationships

<<1579>> and what we call our global botanical

<<1580>> network which is really just

<<1582>> a lot of people that are have been

<<1585>> producing essential oils for many cases

<<1588>> generations

<<1589>> and we're really trying to tap into

<<1591>> their expertise knowledge

<<1593>> understanding and trying to take them

<<1596>> you know to next levels over the last

<<1599>> couple of years

<<1601>> i've been involved with our sourcing

<<1603>> partner

<<1605>> establishing a new distillery in moldova

<<1608>> which i'll be going to next week and

<<1611>> later

<<1612>> this month we're planning to have the

<<1614>> grand opening

<<1615>> and and turn on the distillation units

<<1618>> for the first time

<<1619>> but as far as legacy goes i think it's

<<1622>> about

<<1623>> you know trying to build a world

<<1626>> as it should be and

<<1630>> moldova is a very interesting beautiful

<<1633>> country

<<1634>> it happens to be the poorest country in

<<1637>> all of europe

<<1639>> but the people there are very resilient

<<1641>> lovely people

<<1642>> um very kind of self-sufficient

<<1646>> so through our sourcing partner in

<<1648>> moldova

<<1649>> we're providing the seeds the technical

<<1653>> know-how

<<1654>> the harvesting equipment

<<1657>> and long-term agreements and on-time

<<1660>> payments

<<1661>> which is really rare what's typical in

<<1664>> the in the industry

<<1666>> for essential oil production but in many

<<1668>> cases this is across the board for

<<1670>> farming in general

<<1671>> small farmers are typically the last

<<1674>> person to get paid

<<1676>> in any kind of a supply chain and we've

<<1679>> tried we've turned that on the head

<<1681>> we want farmers to be the focus and to

<<1683>> be

<<1684>> uh paid first on time and

<<1687>> and even with contract arrangements in

<<1689>> place so that they know that what

<<1690>> they're planting now which in many cases

<<1693>> are

<<1693>> you know seven eight even 10 15 year

<<1696>> long plants

<<1697>> all the the things we've been talking

<<1699>> about have a tremendous

<<1701>> uh ripple effect so as as you said

<<1704>> this sort of um the dialogue that we

<<1707>> have

<<1708>> um that we are paying them fairly

<<1712>> that we're sharing information being

<<1714>> transparent

<<1715>> being inclusive um the satisfaction this

<<1719>> brings

<<1719>> farmers compared to if if they were just

<<1722>> showing up in

<<1723>> and dropping off their raw material um

<<1726>> with no information and they're totally

<<1729>> at the mercy of a buyer it's completely

<<1732>> different

<<1733>> so when it goes to like trying to build

<<1735>> the type of world that

<<1738>> it should be um

<<1741>> we're giving a lot of farmers a purpose

<<1744>> that they really

<<1745>> enjoy sheldon we can't let you go

<<1748>> without

<<1748>> telling us for a minute about the

<<1750>> amazing thing happening in sanog region

<<1752>> with the hospital there

<<1754>> sure so i've actually just made it back

<<1756>> to

<<1758>> london i've been gone for the last four

<<1760>> months but we managed to

<<1762>> open up the synagogue specialty hospital

<<1766>> which has been underway for the last

<<1768>> four years it's been one of my

<<1770>> you know primary projects um

<<1773>> i'd say in terms of legacy

<<1776>> it's as as as big as it gets this is one

<<1779>> of the most

<<1780>> remote undeveloped conflict affected

<<1784>> parts of the world and it has some of

<<1786>> the highest maternal and child mortality

<<1788>> rates

<<1789>> and we've built an amazing hospital

<<1793>> which is now employing over a hundred

<<1797>> people

<<1799>> we're about six weeks into operations

<<1802>> and we've already treated over 3000

<<1804>> people

<<1806>> performed 33 surgeries which

<<1809>> could have never been performed in this

<<1811>> region before so it's really

<<1813>> an amazing model that doterra

<<1816>> i think is extremely good at

<<1819>> a lot of companies you know they'll have

<<1822>> a

<<1823>> they'll set up a foundation but it has

<<1825>> really nothing to do with

<<1826>> their operations um and doterra has

<<1829>> a really great model where we're

<<1832>> utilizing our purchasing power

<<1834>> to give people jobs and livelihoods and

<<1837>> a sense of purpose

<<1839>> and then we're doing these meaningful

<<1840>> projects in the community

<<1842>> so it's a really amazing opportunity i'm

<<1846>> grateful

<<1847>> every day that i get to go to work um so

<<1849>> thank you guys all

<<1851>> um for everything that you're doing

<<1854>> yeah we this would none of this would be

<<1857>> possible without

<<1859>> the amazing wellness advocates and all

<<1861>> the hard work they do

<<1862>> to educate train teach about uh

<<1865>> how and where and when to use essential

<<1868>> oils and

<<1869>> and being able to help understand the

<<1871>> sourcing and origin of the oils as well

<<1874>> is such a key part of you know who

<<1876>> doterra is

<<1877>> and what we're all about um we love the

<<1879>> europe market we have a lot of work

<<1881>> happening there with sourcing

<<1883>> um as you can see uh sheldon

<<1886>> is in london currently was in greece

<<1889>> just prior to that

<<1890>> is heading to moldova next week i'm was

<<1893>> in bulgaria a few weeks ago i'm getting

<<1895>> on a plane tomorrow to go to albania so

<<1898>> there's a lot of love for europe and all

<<1900>> the amazing work that's happening there

<<1901>> and we love being able to help provide

<<1905>> opportunities

<<1906>> for wellness advocates to come and see

<<1908>> these sourcing operations

<<1909>> but bringing our wellness advocates to

<<1911>> italy hopefully to greece at some point

<<1914>> to turkey

<<1915>> to moldova you've all been hopefully

<<1918>> or if not in the future can go to

<<1920>> bulgaria and albania

<<1922>> uh so we're excited to be able to help

<<1925>> continue

<<1926>> providing these insights and hands-on

<<1928>> experiences and opportunities for all of

<<1930>> our wellness advocates in europe to

<<1932>> visit the the supply chains that are

<<1934>> based in europe and doing

<<1936>> a tremendous work in implementing these

<<1938>> sourcing guiding principles

<<1940>> um and everywhere that we're we're able

<<1942>> to source the best and help the most so

<<1944>> sheldon thank you so much for your time

<<1947>> today

<<1948>> uh love talking through all of this with

<<1950>> you and

<<1951>> uh we're so grateful for all the work

<<1953>> that's being done by the europe market

<<1957>> thanks tim

<<1965>> hello to all our wellness advocates and

<<1968>> oil lovers

<<1969>> saucing trips are an amazing opportunity

<<1972>> for

<<1972>> so many new leaders being able to meet

<<1975>> our

<<1976>> growers and experience the sourcing

<<1978>> methods in person

<<1980>> is so powerful and gives an incomparable

<<1983>> insight into doterra

<<1984>> and its legacy we are here today

<<1987>> in the company of three empowered women

<<1990>> our beloved doterra leaders that will

<<1993>> share with us

<<1994>> on the impact of doterra sourcing trips

<<1997>> hello tania daniels elena chinpohu

<<2001>> and rosie greeny we love using

<<2004>> our oils every single day and sourcing

<<2008>> trips give us the opportunity to see

<<2010>> behind the bottle

<<2011>> on how plants flowers and resins become

<<2014>> essential oils tanya

<<2018>> you've been to several trips how is

<<2021>> a sourcing trip different from just

<<2024>> a regular trip that's a really good

<<2028>> question

<<2029>> i remember when i got an invitation for

<<2031>> the first

<<2032>> co-impact sourcing trip we were invited

<<2034>> to escetera in

<<2036>> bulgaria it was just wonderful and

<<2039>> at first i thought it will be some days

<<2041>> of vacation but it was much more than

<<2043>> that

<<2044>> we got to know the the company leaders

<<2048>> the managers we got to connect with

<<2050>> other families because some other

<<2051>> leaders also brought their children so

<<2053>> it made a huge

<<2054>> impact on our children as well to

<<2056>> understand what we were doing

<<2058>> we um we worked for healing hands

<<2061>> because doterra is supporting an

<<2063>> orphanage there as well so we assembled

<<2065>> bikes and

<<2066>> that made an impression of my children

<<2068>> as well and my daughter from that moment

<<2071>> on she says when i'm when i'm old as you

<<2074>> i'm going to become a wellness advocate

<<2076>> as well because i want to help

<<2078>> children who who lost their parents

<<2080>> that's what we can do with doterra so

<<2082>> that was the impression that it made on

<<2083>> my

<<2084>> family and of course it was more than

<<2086>> that because we really got to

<<2088>> see the the production and we got to

<<2090>> visit the fields

<<2091>> and on the on the trip to the lavender

<<2093>> fields we first stopped on a lavender

<<2095>> field that was not a doterra field and i

<<2097>> was

<<2098>> amazed it was such a sweet aroma the

<<2101>> colors was beautiful and then

<<2103>> we had to drive on well no no we don't

<<2105>> want to drive on but we had to drive

<<2107>> onto the doterra fields

<<2108>> the difference of those two fields it

<<2111>> was

<<2112>> incredible the doterra field it was

<<2114>> living

<<2115>> it was vibrating life there were bees

<<2118>> there were butterflies

<<2119>> and and it was just i was speechless

<<2123>> but nevertheless we were allowed to go

<<2125>> you know to do the doterra shoots to go

<<2127>> into the field and make that selfie and

<<2129>> i decided

<<2130>> that's the perfect moment to go live and

<<2133>> tell tell

<<2134>> how amazing this is and so i was there

<<2136>> pushing the like button

<<2138>> but i couldn't say a word i was just

<<2140>> smiling

<<2141>> and breathing and smiling because

<<2144>> there's

<<2144>> calmness all around me and happiness and

<<2147>> bliss and

<<2148>> that that was just incredible to

<<2150>> experience that to

<<2151>> to get to see the the distillery to to

<<2154>> get to see the

<<2155>> the the tests that are done there it was

<<2157>> everything was explained so

<<2159>> that's not a vacation that's so much

<<2161>> more it made an

<<2162>> impact on us because it's it's not only

<<2165>> important

<<2166>> to to connect with others which is very

<<2169>> important it brought us

<<2171>> long-term relationships with other

<<2173>> wellness advocates

<<2176>> really friendships that we have now but

<<2178>> it's also so important to see the story

<<2180>> behind the bottle to connect with the

<<2182>> people who actually produce

<<2184>> the oils thank you so much uh those are

<<2187>> wonderful memories and they sound

<<2190>> like things that should be passed on

<<2192>> definitely

<<2193>> i've also been to esoteri in bulgaria

<<2196>> and i remember

<<2197>> thinking that all wellness advocates

<<2199>> should experience something like this

<<2202>> thank you again tanya now

<<2205>> let's go to elena you and your team

<<2209>> also uh have had the opportunity to see

<<2212>> our distilleries the ones in italy

<<2214>> and in in bulgaria and

<<2217>> i remember this year during our stronger

<<2220>> together connection

<<2222>> that the news of a brand new european

<<2225>> distillery in moldova

<<2226>> has touched your heart in a very

<<2228>> significant way

<<2230>> can you share with us why and actually

<<2233>> what does that mean to you

<<2235>> yes thank you and

<<2239>> that that means a lot but to to answer

<<2242>> that uh for for for you to understand me

<<2246>> and to and to answer why i have to start

<<2249>> from the beginning

<<2250>> from with my journey in doterra when i

<<2254>> started in 2017

<<2257>> uh for me personally it's it was not

<<2259>> just

<<2260>> um do the business for the business

<<2263>> that's

<<2264>> or just to earn money uh even

<<2267>> it was obvious this will happen

<<2270>> on the way uh also it was not

<<2274>> not just for the worlds yeah

<<2277>> even if i knew their power i also

<<2280>> knew uh and understand that

<<2284>> the oils are just tools that need to be

<<2287>> put in hands

<<2288>> and mindset of the people first of all

<<2291>> for them to be

<<2292>> to reveal their power and for me doterra

<<2296>> was

<<2296>> from the beginning about more and more

<<2299>> than that

<<2299>> was beyond that it was beyond the

<<2303>> visible things oil oils

<<2306>> and business was and still

<<2310>> is about helping others to empower

<<2313>> themselves

<<2315>> their lives and their families to

<<2318>> help as many people as i can to to shift

<<2321>> their their mindset to

<<2324>> to a new life yeah not just to a new

<<2327>> mindset but to a new life

<<2329>> and and that's for me it's like a

<<2331>> personal legacy

<<2333>> if you wanna if you want to say um and

<<2336>> that's how i started that that's how my

<<2338>> journey started

<<2340>> started but that's just the first level

<<2343>> of this of visibility because in

<<2347>> the moment i had the opportunity and the

<<2349>> good luck

<<2351>> to go into a sourcing trip first of all

<<2354>> it was

<<2355>> first it was in sicily and after that it

<<2357>> was in bulgaria

<<2359>> the level of visibility changed

<<2363>> and i saw beyond what was

<<2366>> near me for the first time i saw

<<2370>> uh in reality the other side of my work

<<2374>> the other side of the bottle and the

<<2377>> even the other side of my rank

<<2381>> in bulgaria i witnessed the

<<2384>> extraction of the melissa plant and

<<2387>> one of the farmers was also witnessing

<<2390>> the process

<<2392>> and when the the whale came

<<2396>> i i i looked at the smile the big smile

<<2399>> and and the happiness

<<2401>> uh on his face and that just

<<2405>> made me cry and at that moment

<<2408>> i truly understood how

<<2411>> much good and change do our work

<<2415>> in the world beyond what we see

<<2419>> and in that moment of course i couldn't

<<2422>> not to think about my home country

<<2425>> moldova

<<2426>> because it's in the similar situation

<<2429>> and similar

<<2430>> needs there the fact is what you have to

<<2434>> maybe to know it was that i was that

<<2437>> village girl that worked on the lens

<<2441>> uh and and i'm very very aware

<<2444>> from a personal experience what are the

<<2447>> true

<<2447>> challenges for the growers and the

<<2450>> farmers

<<2452>> still in moldova radar a lot of there

<<2455>> are a lot of

<<2456>> owners of very good soils and

<<2459>> lands but because of the situation

<<2462>> created there

<<2463>> after soviet union falls apart

<<2466>> most of them are very very very poor

<<2470>> that's why a lot of them immigrated in

<<2472>> different countries

<<2474>> to be able to provide for their families

<<2477>> well

<<2478>> i did also at one point lived from

<<2481>> moldova as many others but

<<2484>> part of my heart will

<<2489>> will always remain there

<<2493>> sorry

<<2496>> and in bulgaria seeing

<<2499>> the lands the people that happy crying

<<2502>> farmer

<<2503>> i thought oh this could be a legacy i

<<2507>> can leave to the people

<<2509>> in the country that raised me

<<2513>> and i was dreaming that in one day i

<<2515>> will do a distillery there

<<2518>> and you can imagine that at the

<<2520>> convention i'm still crying

<<2523>> at the together 2021 convention

<<2526>> when it was announced that the

<<2528>> construction of the distillery in

<<2530>> moldova it's ongoing process already

<<2533>> i think you can imagine my thoughts and

<<2535>> my feelings

<<2537>> it was it one month passed but i still

<<2540>> have

<<2540>> those feelings and thought it's like a

<<2543>> dream that

<<2544>> came true long before i thought it will

<<2547>> happen

<<2548>> and now i do feel that

<<2552>> my work it's directly

<<2555>> and now indirectly and at the first

<<2558>> level and

<<2559>> also more and more deeper levels of

<<2562>> visibility

<<2563>> it's it's a legacy work and it's not

<<2567>> now uh like it was in the beginning just

<<2570>> for the family or for my community

<<2573>> not only for the people in my team

<<2576>> but also now it's for for my home

<<2579>> country

<<2580>> and yes i know i'm aware that doterra is

<<2583>> doing good

<<2584>> all around the world and it was already

<<2587>> lifting

<<2588>> uh lifting up for me but

<<2592>> um this time it's like a double

<<2595>> motivation for me

<<2597>> it's it's a legacy and an impact

<<2601>> that i feel i do now

<<2604>> uh more uh

<<2608>> and in doterra and also for my country

<<2611>> like it's two in one or

<<2612>> or three in one and

<<2616>> the the phrases we we hear

<<2619>> from doterra for example source the best

<<2622>> and help the most

<<2623>> or impact and help

<<2626>> on both sides of the bottle now

<<2630>> are they have more meaning

<<2634>> for me uh now than ever before

<<2637>> so i'm i'm already in emotions

<<2641>> so i think that's that's the whole thing

<<2644>> i will say it for today but

<<2646>> but i hope we will go together

<<2649>> in uh in a trip there in moldova when it

<<2652>> will be

<<2653>> uh done and i will cry for all of you

<<2657>> thank you very much that was very very

<<2660>> heart touching as well and we

<<2662>> i can say that we are all looking

<<2664>> forward to going

<<2665>> on a trip to moldova soon well rosie

<<2668>> uh you and your husband as well are

<<2672>> amazing when promoting the trips the

<<2674>> sourcing trips and

<<2676>> you believe that they represent the

<<2679>> heart of our company

<<2681>> what resonates with you about doterra's

<<2685>> special relationships with its growers

<<2690>> um i suppose when i think about growers

<<2694>> um i think before you before i joined

<<2697>> doterra i never thought about the supply

<<2699>> chain

<<2700>> and i never thought about the impact it

<<2702>> has when

<<2704>> people are further removed from the

<<2706>> supply chain from the end user

<<2708>> and it was like elena said that we see

<<2710>> the

<<2711>> sometimes we see what we're doing but we

<<2713>> don't see what other people are doing

<<2715>> and i think the biggest thing that i

<<2717>> suppose

<<2718>> as an advocate is to know that

<<2722>> because doterra works directly with the

<<2725>> supplier

<<2726>> or the grower that they have so much

<<2729>> influence

<<2729>> on our end product but i think

<<2734>> it's it's it's hard to

<<2737>> put yourself in someone else's shoes and

<<2739>> when elena is saying that

<<2742>> to know that some of them come from

<<2744>> nowhere like they come from

<<2746>> nothing and it's it

<<2750>> it's literally their bread and butter

<<2752>> and i suppose one thing is knowing that

<<2754>> they're getting more money

<<2755>> it's a huge thing to know that when we

<<2758>> sell a bottle of oil

<<2759>> the grower is really getting a huge

<<2762>> contribution to that

<<2764>> but i think the other thing is really

<<2765>> powerful with doterra is that

<<2768>> the grower can tell the needs of the

<<2771>> country

<<2772>> you know um and you know so many people

<<2775>> want to abuse the grower you know

<<2778>> you need us we want your product but

<<2781>> you know for them to understand that

<<2783>> they're part of doterra's bigger vision

<<2785>> it's huge like it's a huge thing for

<<2788>> them and

<<2788>> i think you know some of them are very

<<2792>> humble and they probably

<<2794>> they need help so badly and to have

<<2796>> someone like doterra say to them

<<2798>> okay now we've got you worked out

<<2800>> financially and

<<2801>> your crops are growing you know what do

<<2803>> you need and what can we help with

<<2806>> it must be beyond their wildest dreams

<<2810>> to be able to tell them the needs of

<<2811>> their community

<<2813>> you know because their community are

<<2815>> what makes them what they are

<<2816>> and i think you know when we think about

<<2820>> the oils coming through the supply chain

<<2823>> there's literally so much love the whole

<<2825>> way along that supply chain but i think

<<2827>> sometimes

<<2828>> when people open a bottle of essential

<<2829>> oil

<<2831>> it's like what elena said it's the

<<2832>> invisible things they don't realize

<<2836>> what they're holding is giving so much

<<2838>> to a community much more than wages

<<2840>> you know we think we think wages and i

<<2843>> just think about

<<2844>> one of the things i always think about

<<2845>> is david sterling saying that

<<2848>> you know we don't want to just

<<2849>> constantly give a handout we want to

<<2851>> create economies

<<2852>> for these countries and when you think

<<2855>> about on a political level one of the

<<2856>> reasons why

<<2857>> um kirk showers joined doterra was

<<2859>> because he worked in the law for so long

<<2862>> and he said

<<2863>> you know i realized i couldn't make an

<<2865>> impact

<<2866>> in economies like i thought i could and

<<2868>> when i look at what doterra is doing in

<<2870>> their model

<<2871>> they're literally creating economies and

<<2874>> third-world countries and if doterra

<<2875>> continue to do that

<<2877>> and we continue to push forward

<<2880>> then you know there will be a day when

<<2883>> they're not a third-world country

<<2884>> you know and that will come only from

<<2886>> economies so i think sometimes we're

<<2889>> busy we're doing our oils and we're

<<2890>> sharing a bottle of essential oil

<<2892>> but i think when we step back and we

<<2894>> look at the bigger picture

<<2896>> and we see that we are creating

<<2898>> economies and third third-world

<<2899>> countries

<<2900>> we're doing something that not many

<<2902>> people

<<2903>> can do to the level doterra can do it

<<2907>> and for me the reason why i think that

<<2911>> these trips are so important is because

<<2914>> i think sometimes people slow down what

<<2916>> they do in doterra because

<<2918>> they're not tapped into the higher

<<2920>> picture and i think about a modem

<<2922>> like an internet modem and you move

<<2924>> further away from the modem

<<2925>> the message gets blurry you can't hear

<<2928>> what people are talking about so you

<<2929>> lose interest

<<2930>> and i think these sourcing trips you're

<<2932>> so close

<<2934>> to the modem that you hear everything

<<2936>> you see everything clearly and you

<<2938>> understand

<<2939>> okay i need to get up earlier i need to

<<2942>> go to bed later

<<2944>> i need to share oils and it's not

<<2945>> comfortable i need to step outside my

<<2947>> comfort zone

<<2948>> and i need to be consistent and

<<2952>> you know sourcing trips i feel are

<<2955>> definitely a way to do that

<<2957>> um for those of us who live in first

<<2958>> world countries it grounds us to the

<<2961>> reality that there are people who need

<<2963>> our help even though we can't see them

<<2965>> but even when i think about regular

<<2967>> incentive trips

<<2969>> to get access to people who are on a

<<2972>> higher level than you

<<2973>> are operating how you're operating in a

<<2975>> different country under slightly

<<2977>> different circumstances

<<2979>> it totally changes your mindset and

<<2982>> people pay

<<2983>> thousands for mindset mentoring people

<<2985>> pay thousands to get in front of

<<2988>> people who are where they want to be and

<<2991>> in doterra not only are we getting that

<<2993>> for

<<2993>> free but we're getting a little holiday

<<2996>> perk with it as well

<<2997>> and sometimes when you want to change

<<2999>> the world sometimes you won't take that

<<3001>> time for yourself

<<3002>> and doterra are giving us that time for

<<3005>> ourselves

<<3006>> while they're mentoring us while they're

<<3008>> helping us grow as a person

<<3011>> and they're inspiring us and motivating

<<3015>> us

<<3016>> to be consistent with our activity and

<<3019>> as anybody knows when you're employed if

<<3022>> you don't turn up you get fired

<<3024>> when you work for yourself when you hit

<<3026>> a wall and it's uncomfortable to

<<3028>> overcome it

<<3029>> it's easy to shy away from that but i

<<3032>> think

<<3032>> things like incentive trips or sourcing

<<3035>> trips

<<3036>> they create that burning desire to be

<<3039>> consistent

<<3040>> because the rewards are so high and

<<3043>> we have never missed a trip that we've

<<3044>> been invited to

<<3046>> um because we see the value in it so

<<3050>> much

<<3051>> and i thought i really want other people

<<3053>> to see that value you know if you have a

<<3055>> goal in doterra and you can't achieve it

<<3057>> go on a trip qualify for a trip it is

<<3060>> going to be worth

<<3062>> everything to you your mindset and to

<<3064>> shift your perspective so if you're

<<3066>> sitting

<<3067>> in a building and you're on the ground

<<3068>> floor you know somebody else who has

<<3071>> grown more than you it's like they're on

<<3073>> the 28th floor

<<3074>> and every trip you get to you're that

<<3076>> little bit higher in the building you

<<3077>> can see

<<3078>> more and you can bring that home to

<<3080>> whoever it is that you're mentoring you

<<3082>> know you're

<<3083>> you can see the business from a

<<3084>> different level so

<<3087>> just the power of those trips i can't

<<3089>> say enough about going to them

<<3091>> qualifying for them um and helping to

<<3094>> see the big picture like when we talk

<<3096>> about legacies

<<3098>> you know sometimes we can lose sight of

<<3100>> our big picture and when we hear

<<3101>> somebody else's

<<3103>> it just motivates us to move towards our

<<3106>> original

<<3107>> vision that maybe we've forgotten a

<<3108>> little bit about

<<3111>> wow diatonia dear elena

<<3115>> dear rosie it has been amazing to

<<3118>> connect with you on such an

<<3119>> inspirational topic

<<3121>> our dear wellness advocates and future

<<3124>> leaders

<<3125>> we wish you all the best in qualifying

<<3128>> and experiencing yourself

<<3130>> what this kind of a sourcing and legacy

<<3132>> trip can bring

<<3134>> for you for your growth in doterra

<<3137>> see you on our next trip

<<3144>> [Music]

<<3150>> goodbye

<<3176>> we will grow and develop together we

<<3179>> will be

<<3180>> able to meet the farmers and growers and

<<3182>> experience

<<3183>> first-hand their day-to-day efforts in

<<3186>> growing the most

<<3187>> precious and potent essential oils

<<3190>> and each event will provide

<<3193>> opportunities to make connection

<<3195>> and receive leadership training from the

<<3197>> terrace most successful leaders

<<3200>> this trip has the potential to be

<<3204>> your journey of growth for you

<<3207>> and for your team now

<<3210>> let's have a look together what the

<<3213>> legacy trip

<<3214>> is really all about what is your legacy

<<3218>> how will you leave your mark on our

<<3220>> world

<<3222>> at doterra our legacy is sourcing the

<<3224>> purest products

<<3226>> and helping families and communities

<<3227>> around the world while we do it

<<3230>> doterra europe's legacy trips will offer

<<3232>> a unique

<<3233>> and inspiring opportunity to see how

<<3236>> doterra's co-impact sourcing model

<<3238>> produces the purest essential oils on

<<3240>> earth all while giving back to farmers

<<3243>> distillers and communities to bring you

<<3246>> our cherished wellness advocates closer

<<3248>> to the beating heart of doterra

<<3251>> here's how it works wellness advocates

<<3253>> who advance to silver or gold for the

<<3255>> first time

<<3256>> will have the opportunity to qualify for

<<3258>> a legacy trip over the 12 months

<<3260>> following their rank advancement

<<3262>> to qualify first-time silvers must

<<3264>> maintain the rank of silver or higher

<<3266>> for nine out of the first 12 months

<<3268>> following their initial rank advancement

<<3270>> and have at least one personal

<<3272>> enrollment in each of the months in

<<3273>> which they maintain rank

<<3275>> similarly first-time golds must maintain

<<3278>> the rank of gold or higher

<<3279>> for six out of the first 12 months

<<3281>> following their initial rank advancement

<<3283>> and have two personal enrolments in each

<<3285>> of the months in which they maintain

<<3287>> rank

<<3287>> there is no fixed qualification period

<<3290>> your own personal qualification

<<3292>> window starts from the first month you

<<3294>> hit silver or gold

<<3296>> here's an example let's say you achieve

<<3299>> the rank of silver for the first time

<<3301>> in june your 12 month qualification

<<3303>> window has begun

<<3305>> if you maintain silver for the following

<<3307>> nine months and have one personal

<<3309>> enrollment each month

<<3310>> you'll receive an invitation to the

<<3312>> event in april of the following year

<<3315>> if the next trip happens to be in june

<<3317>> next year you'll be invited to that trip

<<3321>> let's say it takes you a bit longer and

<<3323>> you don't qualify as silver for your

<<3324>> ninth time until may

<<3326>> then you'll be invited onto the next

<<3328>> available trip provided that you qualify

<<3331>> nine times in the 12 month qualification

<<3333>> window

<<3334>> each year both silver and gold legacy

<<3336>> trips will be held at various sourcing

<<3338>> destinations around europe

<<3340>> with locations depending on the harvest

<<3342>> season these trips will be announced in

<<3344>> advance

<<3345>> and published on doterra europe websites

<<3348>> accommodation all related trip

<<3350>> activities and meals

<<3352>> will be provided by doterra for all

<<3354>> invited participants

<<3358>> trip participants will be able to visit

<<3360>> the fields where the ingredients of our

<<3362>> doterra products are grown

<<3364>> as well as the distillation facilities

<<3366>> that transform these gifts of the earth

<<3368>> into essential oils each event will also

<<3371>> provide opportunities for up-and-coming

<<3380>> we look forward to you experiencing the

<<3382>> incredible work that doterra is doing to

<<3390>> to find out more please visit the

<<3392>> doterra europe website

<<3394>> for details

<<3395>> [Music]

<<3397>> to qualify and participate at the legacy

<<3400>> trip

<<3400>> will have the power to change your life

<<3404>> let me summarize how you can qualify

<<3407>> for this amazing opportunity of growth

<<3410>> if you hit silver for the very first

<<3413>> time

<<3414>> and maintain your rank for 9 out of 12

<<3417>> months

<<3418>> you are in it doesn't need to be month

<<3421>> by month

<<3422>> but just 9 times within 12 months

<<3426>> if you hit gold for the very first time

<<3430>> and maintain your rank six times within

<<3433>> 12 months you are also in

<<3436>> additionally you have your personal

<<3438>> enrollment number

<<3440>> in each month you maintain your rank

<<3443>> so these are all the criteria and

<<3447>> we will make sure to support you and

<<3449>> your team

<<3450>> achieving those goals the legacy trip

<<3454>> will replace the current incentive trip

<<3457>> it is intended to provide a deeper

<<3460>> long-lasting experience in your life it

<<3463>> is more than just

<<3465>> supporting you in rank advance and

<<3467>> maintain your rank

<<3469>> it is a unique opportunity to grow

<<3472>> come with us and discover your

<<3475>> legacy journey now isaac

<<3478>> in addition to what we've heard so far

<<3481>> what else would be helpful to know about

<<3485>> the legacy trip thanks isabel

<<3488>> i'll now give you a few examples of how

<<3491>> to qualify for the event

<<3492>> and then comment on what we believe the

<<3494>> legacy trips will accomplish for you

<<3496>> and your teams let's say you're a

<<3499>> premier now and you qualify as a silver

<<3501>> for the first time

<<3503>> in august of 2021 a month in which you

<<3506>> also had a personal enrollment

<<3509>> august will count as the first month

<<3511>> towards the nine you will need to

<<3512>> qualify for the trip

<<3514>> to qualify as fast as possible you would

<<3516>> need to maintain silver for the

<<3518>> following

<<3519>> eight months all with at least one

<<3521>> personal enrollment

<<3522>> and you would qualify for the trip in

<<3524>> april of 2022

<<3526>> let's say however that you missed

<<3527>> qualifying for silver for a month

<<3529>> or that you failed to have a personal

<<3531>> enrollment in one of the months during

<<3532>> which you did qualify as silver

<<3535>> in either case you can still qualify if

<<3537>> you have met the criteria

<<3539>> of having at least nine months at silver

<<3541>> by july of 2022

<<3543>> which is when your 12-month window runs

<<3545>> out in other words you will have three

<<3547>> grace months in which you can fail to

<<3549>> rank at silver

<<3550>> but still qualify for the trip

<<3554>> note that each qualification window will

<<3556>> be different for every potential

<<3557>> qualifier

<<3558>> there is no fixed qualification period

<<3560>> for any one trip

<<3562>> regardless of when you qualify during

<<3564>> the year

<<3565>> you'll receive an invite to the soonest

<<3567>> silver or gold legacy trip

<<3570>> so long as you qualify before the

<<3572>> deadline for that trip

<<3574>> if the timing of your qualification

<<3576>> misses the deadline you'll simply

<<3578>> receive an invitation

<<3579>> to the next legacy trip trip locations

<<3582>> dates and deadlines for qualification

<<3585>> can be found

<<3586>> on the legacy trip website so you will

<<3588>> always be able to clearly see

<<3590>> the trip which you are most likely to

<<3592>> qualify for

<<3593>> our first silver and gold legacy trips

<<3595>> will be held in july of 2022

<<3598>> in bulgaria and will have a cut-off

<<3600>> month of march 2022

<<3602>> which means in order to attend the trip

<<3604>> a member must have qualified for silver

<<3607>> nine times by march of 2022

<<3609>> the cut-off dates are set in advance of

<<3611>> the trips by a few months

<<3613>> so our events team has time to organize

<<3615>> and plan the event

<<3616>> because of the timing of this

<<3618>> announcement coming at the end of july

<<3621>> which would only allow qualifiers who

<<3622>> hit nine consecutive times including

<<3625>> july

<<3626>> to qualify for the trip we've decided

<<3628>> that anyone who achieves silver or gold

<<3631>> for the first time starting april of

<<3633>> 2021

<<3634>> will be able to qualify for the trips

<<3637>> that means if you've hit silver or gold

<<3639>> for the past

<<3639>> three months you are eligible to qualify

<<3642>> for the 2022

<<3643>> legacy trips let's now consider a second

<<3647>> example

<<3648>> let's assume you qualified for gold for

<<3650>> the first time in may of 2021

<<3652>> just two months ago because this date is

<<3655>> after the april 20 21st start date

<<3658>> you have the opportunity to qualify for

<<3660>> the 2022 gold legacy trip

<<3663>> over the following 12 months your rank

<<3666>> qualifications look as follows

<<3668>> silver in june gold in july silver in

<<3672>> august and september

<<3673>> gold in october november and december

<<3676>> silver in january february and march

<<3678>> and gold in april for simplicity's sake

<<3681>> let's assume that in each of these

<<3683>> months you had two personal enrollments

<<3686>> in april of 2022 the last month in which

<<3689>> you could have qualified

<<3691>> you managed to qualify as gold and you

<<3693>> made it in

<<3694>> following the april commission run which

<<3696>> will occur in may of 2022

<<3698>> you will receive an email invitation to

<<3700>> the soonest gold legacy trip

<<3703>> in this case the event in bulgaria in

<<3705>> july of 2022

<<3707>> now for a note about timing of the

<<3709>> events because we want to give you and

<<3712>> your teams an optimal sourcing

<<3713>> experience

<<3714>> which is most often achieved during the

<<3716>> harvest season

<<3718>> the timing of events will most often

<<3720>> need to be during the summer

<<3722>> or early fall because of this

<<3725>> there will be a longer waiting period

<<3727>> for those who meet

<<3728>> their qualifications in the summer as

<<3730>> they will need to wait for the following

<<3732>> summer

<<3733>> to attend a trip then for those who

<<3735>> qualify

<<3736>> in the winter or early spring we plan to

<<3739>> space out the trips as much as possible

<<3742>> to allow minimal waiting time between

<<3744>> qualification

<<3745>> and trip attendance what about those of

<<3749>> you who achieve the rank of silver or

<<3751>> gold prior to april of this year

<<3753>> or who are currently ranked at platinum

<<3755>> or higher how can you have the

<<3757>> opportunity to attend a sourcing trip

<<3759>> we're happy to say that we are now well

<<3761>> positioned to offer opportunities to

<<3763>> nearly all ranks to attend

<<3765>> our incredible sourcing locations as

<<3768>> we've outlined

<<3769>> legacy trips will apply to first time

<<3771>> silver and golds

<<3773>> for those who have already ranked at

<<3775>> silver gold or platinum

<<3777>> the new diamond club launching in

<<3779>> september of 2021

<<3781>> offers four times the number of trip

<<3783>> attendees than our previous diamond club

<<3785>> trips

<<3786>> this change was coordinated with our

<<3788>> legacy trip planning

<<3789>> to allow many many more of you to attend

<<3792>> sourcing locations

<<3794>> to put that into context in a normal

<<3796>> year prior to 2021

<<3799>> doterra's europe middle east and africa

<<3801>> region would take roughly 150 members to

<<3804>> sourcing locations

<<3805>> throughout the year with the launch of

<<3807>> legacy trips and the revamped diamond

<<3810>> club we now plan to take nearly 500

<<3813>> members each year

<<3815>> this is a tremendous investment on

<<3816>> behalf of doterra

<<3818>> but we do it because we believe it will

<<3820>> be a great benefit

<<3821>> to you and to your teams we're also

<<3824>> happy to say that

<<3826>> barring any ongoing issues brought on by

<<3828>> the kova 19 pandemic

<<3830>> we are very hopeful that diamonds and

<<3832>> above will have the opportunity to buy

<<3834>> into doterra's global co-impact sourcing

<<3837>> trips

<<3838>> starting in 2022 these trips take place

<<3842>> in sourcing locations

<<3843>> all over the world including kenya nepal

<<3846>> hawaii and many more locations we will

<<3849>> share more information about these trips

<<3851>> including information for those of you

<<3853>> who previously registered for events

<<3856>> that were cancelled in 2020 in the

<<3858>> coming months ahead

<<3860>> now to conclude a lot has been said

<<3862>> about these trips and what they can do

<<3863>> for you and your team

<<3864>> but i'd like to add just one personal

<<3866>> experience

<<3868>> in 2019 i had the opportunity to visit

<<3870>> our peppermint growers

<<3872>> harvesters and distillation partners in

<<3874>> uttar pradesh and bihar india

<<3877>> prior to this experience i've been an

<<3879>> employee of doterra for five years

<<3881>> and had heard many stories of our

<<3883>> co-impact work on the ground

<<3885>> but i had never experienced it firsthand

<<3887>> for myself

<<3889>> the trip to india changed everything

<<3891>> about doterra for me

<<3893>> not only did the trip leave me with zero

<<3895>> doubt about the purity of our oils

<<3897>> but it gave me a glimpse into the

<<3899>> incredible good that our co-impact

<<3901>> supply chain does

<<3902>> in areas where we work with help from

<<3905>> doterra

<<3905>> our partners on the ground in india had

<<3908>> managed to find ways for peppermint

<<3910>> farmers to increase their income

<<3912>> in many cases as much as four to five

<<3915>> times

<<3916>> this is an incredible feat that was

<<3918>> literally lifting families out of

<<3919>> poverty

<<3921>> i left india completely committed to

<<3923>> doterra in its mission

<<3925>> and i have remained that way ever since

<<3928>> i know these trips to incredible

<<3930>> sourcing locations that we have in our

<<3932>> part of the world

<<3933>> will do the same for you and for your

<<3935>> teams

<<3936>> you've heard a lot about the legacy

<<3938>> trips today but we know some questions

<<3940>> likely will still remain

<<3941>> please visit the legacy trip website for

<<3943>> more details

<<3944>> and feel free to reach out to your

<<3946>> account manager if you have questions

<<3948>> that are not answered on the site

<<3950>> i look forward to meeting many of you

<<3952>> next year on our first legacy trips in

<<3954>> bulgaria

<<3955>> [Music]

<<3963>> hello everybody my name is emily

<<3965>> muscarinis and i'm delighted to be here

<<3968>> with you today

<<3969>> to talk about the legacy trip and how

<<3972>> you can maintain the ranks of silver

<<3974>> and gold in order to win the opportunity

<<3977>> to go

<<3978>> on this amazing trip now i must say that

<<3981>> everybody's doterra journey is different

<<3984>> and your journey is the perfect journey

<<3987>> for you

<<3987>> so please don't compare your journey

<<3989>> with anyone else's

<<3991>> some people move faster some people move

<<3993>> slower

<<3994>> the main thing is is that you keep going

<<3998>> everybody can get there so we actually

<<4001>> reached the rank of silver after just

<<4003>> six months of building our doterra

<<4005>> business

<<4006>> and we did hit it solidly and so after

<<4009>> nine months we reached the rank of gold

<<4012>> now i'll tell you a little bit about why

<<4015>> i believe that we hit those ranks

<<4017>> solidly

<<4018>> i believe that it's mainly because we

<<4021>> found

<<4022>> partnership we found people who wanted

<<4025>> to join

<<4026>> us and build this doterra business with

<<4029>> us

<<4029>> and that's because we shared the

<<4031>> opportunity

<<4033>> and we planted those seeds in people's

<<4035>> minds and in people's hearts

<<4038>> and then we nurtured them we nurtured

<<4040>> those seeds so they could become

<<4042>> seedlings and so they could grow so

<<4045>> how did those seedlings grow well

<<4048>> again much of it is down to connection

<<4052>> we made sure that we stayed connected

<<4055>> with

<<4055>> our team with the people that have said

<<4058>> that they wanted to partner with us

<<4061>> we stayed connected with them and we

<<4063>> built those relationships and those

<<4065>> friendships

<<4066>> with our downline but also we stayed

<<4068>> connected to our upline at the same time

<<4071>> because they had more experience than us

<<4073>> and we could lean in on them for their

<<4076>> support and their knowledge and their

<<4078>> guidance

<<4079>> we made sure that we were active in

<<4082>> helping our new team

<<4083>> with sharing the oils with teaching

<<4086>> classes

<<4087>> and encouraged them just to get

<<4089>> themselves started

<<4090>> we mentored them regularly and we helped

<<4093>> to build those relationships and

<<4096>> friendships

<<4096>> as much as we could by just checking in

<<4098>> on a daily basis

<<4100>> and being there for them we also

<<4102>> encouraged them to

<<4104>> want to find their own team as well

<<4107>> to build their own doterra businesses

<<4110>> and do what we were doing

<<4111>> and that would help them move forward we

<<4114>> didn't fly the nest too

<<4116>> soon i think it's great to want to step

<<4118>> into your own leadership

<<4120>> but if you lean out too

<<4123>> quickly then you won't necessarily

<<4127>> have all the tools and all the equipment

<<4130>> and all the experience to support your

<<4132>> growing team

<<4133>> so don't try and go it alone too quickly

<<4137>> use your upline just because they've

<<4139>> been there before they have more

<<4141>> experience than you

<<4142>> if they've been doing this longer than

<<4144>> you so

<<4146>> we worked very closely with our upline

<<4148>> until we reached at least

<<4149>> diamond but i must say that we still

<<4152>> work closely with them

<<4153>> and they support us still and we support

<<4155>> them back

<<4158>> okay next you need to think about

<<4161>> is there energy in your legs

<<4164>> we need to try and aim for strong legs

<<4167>> in our doterra organizations

<<4170>> and if there's not energy coming in

<<4174>> it's going to be hard to sustain and

<<4176>> maintain

<<4177>> rank and volume so if the energy is not

<<4180>> there

<<4181>> it needs feeding or it needs filling

<<4184>> and we need to remember that we do need

<<4187>> people who are

<<4188>> building the business and sharing the

<<4190>> oils

<<4191>> within each leg as otherwise it's all

<<4195>> going to rest on you

<<4197>> you can reach the rank of silver on your

<<4200>> own

<<4201>> at a stretch but that's going to be very

<<4203>> hard to maintain

<<4205>> on your own so ideally you want to

<<4208>> find your team you want to attract

<<4210>> people

<<4211>> to do this business with you so your

<<4214>> legs are going to grow

<<4216>> in volume as they also share the oils

<<4219>> and the opportunity with others and it

<<4222>> doesn't all rest on you

<<4224>> my husband tim always says that you need

<<4227>> to

<<4227>> find people to do this with you who are

<<4231>> also aiming to move forward in their

<<4234>> business

<<4235>> that way your business will also move

<<4237>> forward and won't

<<4238>> become stagnant or the volumes start to

<<4242>> fade

<<4243>> try not to waste volume but

<<4246>> it's not always easy ideally we get the

<<4249>> volume

<<4250>> into the right positions and under the

<<4252>> right legs

<<4253>> so we can move forward and reach those

<<4256>> ranks

<<4256>> ideally we have three thousand three

<<4259>> thousand

<<4260>> and three thousand in three legs so we

<<4263>> have an

<<4263>> overall volume of nine thousand to reach

<<4266>> silver or we have five thousand

<<4270>> five thousand and five thousand three

<<4272>> premiere legs

<<4274>> and that way we will be reaching gold

<<4276>> but sometimes we have

<<4278>> extra volume or volume in the wrong

<<4280>> places

<<4281>> and this can affect our rank try and get

<<4284>> your volume in the right place but

<<4286>> also know that it's not always easy one

<<4289>> word of advice that i remember that

<<4290>> really spoke to my heart

<<4292>> at a leadership convention a few years

<<4294>> ago

<<4295>> was remember you can only do your best

<<4298>> with the information that you have

<<4300>> at that time hindsight is a wonderful

<<4304>> thing

<<4304>> but we don't always know what's going to

<<4306>> happen and we don't always know

<<4309>> how someone on our team is going to

<<4311>> progress so we can only do our best at

<<4314>> the time

<<4315>> we can't cast any blame on anybody

<<4318>> please don't blame your downline and

<<4320>> please don't blame your

<<4321>> upline just know that this is

<<4324>> all part of the learning and part of the

<<4327>> growth

<<4329>> so what if your legs just aren't growing

<<4332>> perhaps you've got people in positions

<<4334>> that aren't ideal for them

<<4337>> well you do have some options if a leg

<<4340>> is

<<4340>> lacking in energy or volume then it's

<<4342>> your invitation to pack it

<<4344>> to fill it with new energy obviously you

<<4348>> need to be enrolling to do this

<<4350>> so you have control of where your volume

<<4353>> is going

<<4354>> another option is that you could place a

<<4357>> double qualifier within that leg

<<4360>> perhaps somewhere lower down where you

<<4363>> may

<<4363>> keep hold of the enrollership so you can

<<4366>> work

<<4366>> closely with that person and perhaps in

<<4369>> future

<<4370>> you could qualify through them that's

<<4373>> another option for you

<<4375>> we suggest talking to your upline or

<<4377>> your account manager about this

<<4379>> because they may have had experience in

<<4382>> this themselves and have some advice

<<4384>> for you we also suggest talking to your

<<4388>> upline or your account manager

<<4390>> and learning a little bit more about

<<4392>> possible account

<<4394>> transfers or move exceptions or switches

<<4397>> that

<<4398>> may be available to you it's not always

<<4401>> easy but doterra

<<4403>> sometimes may allow you to move some

<<4406>> volume around

<<4407>> so it's really useful to try and

<<4409>> understand

<<4410>> what might be allowed and what you might

<<4413>> be able to do

<<4414>> so you can get volume in the right

<<4416>> places

<<4418>> however sometimes the best decision

<<4421>> is just to start a fresh new leg if a

<<4424>> leg

<<4425>> really isn't moving forward and you've

<<4428>> reached a point where you

<<4429>> really feel that you need to start

<<4431>> afresh

<<4432>> perhaps you've got a new builder who's

<<4435>> really activated and excited

<<4437>> and it feels like the right thing to do

<<4439>> for that person to go into a brand new

<<4441>> fresh position

<<4443>> as opposed to go into an existing

<<4445>> position

<<4446>> then perhaps you might just want to

<<4448>> start a brand new leg

<<4450>> and it's amazing how a leg with a

<<4453>> builder at the top

<<4454>> who is really committed and energized

<<4457>> can sometimes

<<4458>> overtake an existing leg very quickly

<<4463>> obviously it's all case by case every

<<4466>> scenario is different

<<4467>> so we really do suggest you speak to

<<4470>> your upline

<<4471>> or your account manager to weigh up your

<<4473>> options and to form a plan

<<4476>> it's really important that you know your

<<4478>> volume how often

<<4480>> are you checking your back office

<<4483>> tim has always been very good at

<<4485>> checking our volume

<<4487>> so we need to know what we have in order

<<4490>> to know

<<4491>> what we need to reach ranks we need to

<<4494>> know

<<4495>> what volume we have within our

<<4497>> organizations

<<4499>> so we know how far off we are from

<<4502>> reaching

<<4502>> ranks or perhaps it might be that we are

<<4505>> behind

<<4506>> or perhaps it might be that we're doing

<<4508>> really well that month

<<4510>> but if you're not checking your volume

<<4512>> and your account

<<4513>> every day how can you possibly know what

<<4516>> you have to work with

<<4518>> if you are checking your account

<<4520>> regularly you'll start to understand the

<<4523>> average volume

<<4524>> that is coming in within your business

<<4527>> tim would have an average breakdown of

<<4529>> volume that would come in

<<4531>> from day to day so he knows when we're

<<4534>> doing well

<<4535>> or he knows when we're on track or he

<<4538>> also knows if things are looking a

<<4540>> little bit low in certain legs

<<4542>> and that allows us to make plans to do

<<4545>> what we need to do before the end of the

<<4547>> month

<<4548>> to make that up encourage your team to

<<4550>> track their volume

<<4552>> too they can't just rely on you to do

<<4554>> this

<<4555>> they need to understand and they need to

<<4557>> keep track so that they can plan ahead

<<4560>> too

<<4561>> this is a really big one so i

<<4564>> stands for the inviting the presenting

<<4567>> and the enrolling this way

<<4570>> you are taking control of your business

<<4573>> and if your business is not progressing

<<4575>> then it's no one's fault

<<4577>> but yours when you have this attitude

<<4581>> and this

<<4582>> ownership of your business you set a

<<4584>> precedent for the rest of your team

<<4587>> and not only that when you are

<<4590>> introducing new energy into your

<<4592>> organization

<<4593>> it lifts everybody and inspires

<<4596>> everybody

<<4597>> including you know that it's not always

<<4601>> going to be easy

<<4602>> it's not supposed to be know that the

<<4604>> hurdles

<<4605>> are there and placed in your way the

<<4608>> challenges happen for you not

<<4612>> to you again if you're feeling

<<4614>> disheartened or discouraged

<<4617>> use your oils but know that this is all

<<4620>> part of the lessons that you need

<<4622>> and your growth and your journey

<<4626>> i want to invite you to enjoy your own

<<4629>> journey doterra invites us into such a

<<4632>> beautiful opportunity

<<4634>> where we get to change our own lives and

<<4636>> help others

<<4637>> at the same time we get to rewrite our

<<4641>> own legacy and this legacy trip is all

<<4644>> about that

<<4646>> so good luck in reaching silver

<<4649>> reaching gold and maintaining those

<<4651>> ranks and hopefully

<<4653>> i'll be seeing you guys on a trip soon

<<4666>> [Music]

<<4676>> is

<<4695>> [Music]

<<4705>> who advised us

<<4721>> thanks to each of you for attending this

<<4722>> one of a kind event

<<4724>> i hope that you are inspired and see how

<<4727>> your legacy fits into doterra's legacy

<<4729>> of purity

<<4731>> thank you to all of you who have

<<4732>> participated the stories you've shared

<<4735>> were powerful and profound

<<4737>> as you continued your doterra journey we

<<4740>> hope that these legacy trips will be a

<<4742>> constant motivating and guiding star

<<4745>> link your efforts to qualify for these

<<4746>> trips with power of three an empowerment

<<4748>> bonus

<<4749>> utilize diamond club work closely with

<<4752>> your account managers and market

<<4754>> development managers to find your most

<<4756>> efficient path

<<4758>> share this program with your team help

<<4760>> them to qualify

<<4762>> your path to your next rank or to

<<4764>> solidifying your current rank

<<4766>> takes dedication and consistency

<<4769>> similarly the path to purity isn't the

<<4772>> easiest route

<<4773>> i remember my first experience seeing

<<4775>> the distillation process in person in

<<4777>> queenstown new zealand

<<4779>> we jumped in the back of some rugged

<<4781>> land rovers that could traverse the

<<4783>> steep and rugged terrain

<<4785>> once at the top we saw a field of young

<<4787>> douglas fir trees

<<4788>> that had only begun their journey to

<<4790>> choke out the native vegetation

<<4792>> we went to work for the next few hours

<<4794>> removing these trees and loading them

<<4796>> into a large trailer

<<4798>> at that altitude it was hard work as we

<<4801>> descended from the high altitudes

<<4803>> caught our breath and reached the basin

<<4805>> a small portable distillation unit was

<<4808>> waiting for us

<<4809>> i was able to load the branches and

<<4811>> close the lid

<<4812>> it was magic watching the oil and water

<<4814>> diverge in the small glass separator it

<<4818>> was such a small amount of oil but it

<<4819>> helped me to appreciate

<<4821>> how lucky we are to have dedicated

<<4822>> partners who work

<<4824>> tirelessly to bring us the best the

<<4827>> purest essential oils

<<4830>> my most recent trip to moldova captured

<<4832>> my heart once again

<<4833>> seeing the development of a remarkable

<<4835>> project in a beautiful country touched

<<4837>> my soul

<<4839>> walking the lands with one of our

<<4840>> partnering farmers mr boris

<<4842>> renewed my hope in our model to source

<<4845>> the best

<<4846>> and help the most currently in moldova

<<4849>> we have about a dozen farmers working

<<4850>> with us

<<4851>> over the next few years that number will

<<4853>> grow by over tenfold

<<4855>> these farmers will have a renewed hope

<<4857>> and trusted partner

<<4858>> they will have a partner that cares

<<4860>> about their land a partner that delivers

<<4862>> on-time payments and expertise when

<<4864>> needed

<<4866>> all of this made possible by you

<<4869>> this is part of your legacy these two

<<4872>> experiences have changed

<<4874>> the way i view essential oils they have

<<4876>> changed the way that i use essential

<<4877>> oils

<<4878>> it isn't possible for me to open those

<<4880>> tiny black lids without thinking back to

<<4882>> the mountains of new zealand

<<4884>> or the crop rows in moldova in a very

<<4888>> real way it has become part of me

<<4891>> i can't wait for you to have similar

<<4892>> experiences and participate in one of

<<4894>> these meaningful trips

<<4896>> i can't wait for you to spend time in

<<4898>> the fields working the land alongside

<<4899>> our incredible farmers

<<4901>> i can't wait for you to see the oil

<<4903>> flowing

<<4904>> a legacy is what we hope to leave behind

<<4907>> to the world

<<4908>> to our community and to our family when

<<4910>> all is said and done

<<4913>> until we meet in the flowered fields of

<<4914>> bulgaria the rolling hills of moldova

<<4917>> the rustic beauty of sicily or the

<<4919>> scenic climbs of albania

<<4922>> dream work and build your legacy
