<<3>> My name is Matt Kriteman
<<4>> and I'm the Head of Humanitarian Response
<<7>> for Help Ukraine and Operation Palyanytsya.
<<10>> Initially, at the very beginning,
<<11>> a lot of this was a rescue and evacuation,
<<13>> getting people out of harm's way,
<<15>> and then immediately thereafter
<<17>> was a lot of resupply, specifically to hospitals
<<19>> who were completely out of all materials and supplies.
<<24>> And then after those first tumultuous months was relief,
<<29>> which we would call “technical assistance”,
<<30>> where we're helping IDPs or Internally Displaced Persons.
<<34>> The key projects that we're working on,
<<36>> we’re focusing specifically on
<<38>> mental health and wellbeings for children.
<<40>> We're working on microtraining, microfinance,
<<44>> micro SME, or small to medium enterprise training,
<<47>> specifically for women IDPs,
<<49>> which is the majority of displaced persons.
<<51>> And then we're also working specifically with infrastructure projects
<<54>> for people with special needs.
<<55>> We make these investments in these different people that we trust.
<<58>> It’s very much a free market approach.
<<60>> If you're good and you are upfront and honest
<<65>> and you work hard, then we reinvest in your project
<<68>> on behalf of Help Ukraine and all my colleagues
<<71>> on all of us that have put everything that we've had into this.
<<75>> I just want to say my enormous and sincere
<<78>> thanks to dōTERRA
<<80>> and to all the dōTERRA people.
<<83>> I never knew about you guys before, before Ukraine.
<<86>> And I can tell you, our projects are so grateful.
<<88>> They know exactly who you are and I can tell you as the
<<91>> Head of Humanitarian Response that your donation went immediately,
<<96>> appropriately and efficiently to help these people in need.
<<100>> And thank you.
